The recons have a 90 day warranty. Not a 30 day. In order for battery to qualify it must have 12 volts and fail a load test. A dis charged battery is not a bad battery. So it must be recharged, and does not qualify as a bad battery. Basic mechanical knowledge.

If could give negative I would. Save your money and go to Sacramento battery company in West Sacramento better prices and great customer service. (And no I an not friends or related to them) They gave us the wrong battery size for our car but we worked with it but battery keeps dying went to take it back and they do not honor the 30 day warranty and then tried to sell us another one for another $30+ dollars, like really this is the way you conduct business? Horrible customer service and product experience. Buyers beware!!!

Don’t waste your time and $ here to deal with unprofessional folk. Your car will shutdown while driving and is danger to you and someone else. 2nd time battery issue They just trying to sale high and more. Oh I gave you bigger batteries and more power. But I end up won’t fit my tray if original size will fit. This place need more training staff more fair to customer and be right, also need inspection because of the quality is bad. Bought a refurbished battery from here no more 1 month ago, i came in for an exchange with my receipt for warranty purposes. THEY WILL NOT UPHOLD THEIR WARRANTY PROMISE!!!! I am told i will be waiting for overnight just to see if the battery will charge. I explained them that I did overnight charge at home that’s why I brought it back for exchange Big hog will take your money quick, but they are in no rush to help you out. LAST TIME I COME HERE FOR SURE!!! Take your money somewhere where they will uphold their warranty and appreciate you as a customer, because here they do not care at all

Bought a battery 6.5 months ago for my RV. Doesnt hold a charge. I took it back within 30 days, initially, they tested it... Saying it was fine. But they would charge it overnight for me..... Id first had it tested at AutoZone, and theyd said it was bad...Their explanation was that rvs always have something on that drains them... They refused to listen to what I was telling them, that the battery is dead within 20 minutes of turning it off ... That is NOT an accessory drain! Ive been disconnecting the cable to try to prevent my having to jump out whenever I start it...Now it doesnt hold any kind of a charge. I can jump it, but as soon as I turn it off, its totally dead again. I was getting ready to pull it out, to take it in tomorrow (theyre closed on Sundays) and I realized that they marked the date of purchase incorrectly on the battery!!! Really!?! And I seriously doubt it was by accident! They marked it as purchased a month before I even owned my RV!! Im taking it in, but somehow Im not too hopeful about them honoring the warranty... If Im wrong, I will update this review

My experience with this guys was good this is the second time i purchase a used battery for my ford f150 las time was about 3 years ago today it finally died so i came to this place disconnected the battery jose was very nice to bring the battery to my truck since i have back problems sold me a good battery good price im a happy customer thank you jose.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ! I purchased 6 golf cart batteries from this place with a 6 month warranty ; the same day I bought them i installed them in my golf cart and they did not work. I tested them with my battery tester and 2 out of 6 were no good...i drove back to Big Hog Battery the next day and Jimmy refuse to test them or exchange them. I tested them right in front of him with my battery tester (500 Chicago Electricl) and Jimmy told me that he would not consider my tester because he said my kind of tester is not reliable enough for an accurate and true reading ; however, i seen two battery testers behind the counter they use that are completely identical to my tester....I went to another place where they tested ALL 6 BATTERIES and concluded that 2 of them were BAD. Jimmy is not an honest business man. I basically got ripped off and had to go buy GOOD batteries elsewhere. MY ADVICE : STAY FAR AWAY FROM BIG HOG BATTERY.

I took a really good car battery with 800 CCA to sell to them and the man at the counter offered me $5 so i wouldnt recommend taking your batteries to sell to them because they dont pay $h!t. I was told this is a good place to buy and sell your batteries but Im not impressed at all. If the man didnt have such a sarcastic look on his face i would have just given it to him. Under sold me a battery. It died. Took it to AutoZone and they told me it wasnt enough cranking amps.Returned it and they wanted me to come back later after they charged it and just leave my car stranded. Or pay $8 to get a swap.I swapped it and they gave me one with lower cranking amps than the first one. SMH

So I went and brought a battery like two weeks ago that think didnt hold the change and so I was trying to exchange it and they told me because it had like 4volt on it he wasnt going to exchange it .not good whats the point of having 30 days warranty if they not going to stand by.
