This place is a true gem! Local and perfect for Midtown residents and artists as myself. Under new management, but still has an astounding selection of books in pristine condition! Love that they have a cart outside of $5 books too. Miranda is wonderful and helpful if you are in need of some inspirational art books. She is knowledgeable and enthusiastic ✨
FINALLY..a Real bookstore that is focused on the Arts!! The owners are 2 wonderful women! Very nice and welcoming. I ended up buying a taschen book I didnt expect to find. Check them out!!
Its a great little store for art books of any kind. I have ordered from them and have stopped in to buy books. They are always friendly and treat everybody like friends.
Cute little neighborhood book store. They even have a sitting room.
Found this gem of a bookstore via a google search and couldn’t have been happier. Helpful staff pre-pulled books from a list I gave them and the selection is top notch. Great store! Please support local!
Really incredible store-I never knew so many art books existed. They have everything and the owners are super knowledeable. Indoor and outdoor seating so you can browse.
Cutest store in a sweet neighborhood. Want to hang out there, touch real books, buy them because they are affordable, look at art, aaah, a breath of fresh air
I have a PhD in humanities and have worked in museum and library collections for 20 years. The staff thought I looked like a yokel, I guess, and kept pointing me towards the fashion and gardening section. Be careful about judging based on appearances.
Great shop, great owners, beautiful books. Small literature section in the back where I bought a first edition Susan Sontag. Lots of lithographs and large editions outside of my price range.
A wide variety of rare and collectable books, many that are as much as two hundred years old.
Nice used book store
Four plus years ago I was in a jam and took a lot of 7 or 8 classic photography books to this guy for a fair deal. I thought he was a legitimate dealer. The books were probably worth over $3000. One was a unique, un-opened volume of Ruth Bernhards photos that was worth $1000 or more. I had had all the books for 30 years and was not thinking straight given my situation. Good old Richard gave me $150 cash for the lot like he was doing me a favor. A couple days later I came to my senses and realized what he had done. If you have books to sell, do your homework or better yet go somewhere else. This experience will sicken me until the day I dye. There should be laws for this sort BS.
Its CLOSED..travelers dont make the trip. I walked up from midtown just to work up a sweat and have no place to pee, lol. XoxoToo bad.
Took a mile walk during lunch to pick up some light reading only to find it closed, contrary to their website and post hours on the door. Hence, no book to read. Will go elsewhere next time.
Richard knows his stuff. I could spend quite awhile perusing these shelves.
Great books in great condition.
A large variety of vintage books. Unfortunately the Business is closing at that location.
Great Place and great books!!!!!!
