The produce here is soo bad! It was literally rotting. The tomatoes and cucumbers were the worst. Some of them had holes and were black. We picked through the strawberries, also not looking great, but found some that we though were good. The next day they were moldy. Concerned that I even let my kids eat them the day we bought them.

WinCo Foods is an awesome grocery store. It has somewhat of a warehouse feel but it is not. Their prices are comparable to Wal Mart and their meats way better with a butcher present. I could go on for a long time speaking of Winco but I wont. And the employees are very friendly.

A friend suggested we go to Winco. My maiden voyage to the employee owned smaller grocery chain from Boise. It was much further than I would ever go, but Im glad I checked it out. I dont like the layout for that format, but I was surprised how quickly I made it through. No complaints about cleanliness. They were only lightly busy, but took care of the customers. Opened new lanes when needed, the staff was very friendly and the selection was really balanced. Being a 30 year + retired grocery guy, Im not easy to sway. The pricing was a little hit and miss, but mostly hit. Absolutely competitive in all fronts and If they were closer, I would visit more often. The freshness and selection in the perishable departments were surprisingly above par. It seemed as if there were staff members everywhere! They were working hard including checking with us customers about finding everything.Great job Winco!! See you on the next visit!

I love this WinCos storefront compared to elk grove location because its bigger and more organized in my opinion.

Wincos atmospher is pleasant to shop at and their cashiers are so caring. I am disabled and the winco staff are so caring.

I love shopping here. They always have what im looking for in stock. Nothing os hard to find, everytime i go the staff is always helpful and friendly. Also i lost my phone the last time i was there an some kind person turned it into lost and found. Thank you so much.

The employees do need help with customer service when asked thry help though.. wish they would be alot more aware of the customers when standing near them they just pass you not around you.. They do keep everything up to par though so thats cool clean place too..

Visited WinCo looking for a product that relieves acid indigestion. Couldnt find Mylanta but, for a grocery store, WinCo had a pretty good selection of treatments for heartburn and stomach upset

I was looking for some fresh trout I did not see the trout at first so I went with the salmon pretty good.

Great selection, well-maintained store. Customer service is top notch. Minus a star for the small parking area. Need to park in the back of the store or else you will spend 15 minutes trying to find a parking spot.

I really like the Employee Ownership aspect of Winco, i.e., if the store does well, its employees do well. Not like many other discount grocery stores. But, like most grocery stores today, competition is fierce, so overhead is cut to the bone. Makes it difficult to locate store staff when you cant find an item or have a question, but in these pandemic times its even more understandable.Prices are excellent. Employees are helpful when you can find one. This particular store is an old converted Ross department store. Unfortunately, the way it was re-designed no natural light comes into the building, making for a dark interior that detracts from its overall fresh/clean appearance..My reason for th 2.5-star review is the stores refusal to enforce its own mask policy. On three separate visits in the last 2 weeks Ive witnessed anywhere from 20-30 maskless shoppers. This is against city, county, and state policy too. On two separate occasions I asked store personnel what its policy is concerning maskless shoppers. Was told both times that they didnt have one, instead they just let anyone go maskless. I wonder if 30 people came in without shirts and shoes if they would be so indifferent? But this isnt just a question of decorum-- were talking about a pandemic that has already killed 600,000 citizens, including children, and now a Delta variant that is far more communicable and dangerous that was even knew 4 weeks ago!As an immunocompromised individual, who lives with an immunocompromised family member, and is around children under 12 who are not yet eligible to be vaccinated, I am stunned at Wincos disregard and indifference towards its customers and employees health. One can only conclude that Winco prefers to allow its maskless shoppers to endanger the health of its employees and those who respect public health policy, and abide by the social contract.

Much better prices than the local area chain stores have.

Great selections! A bit crowded at times. Sort of a warehouse feel compared to, say a Raleys Supermarket. Many products are sold in bulk.

The customers are the worse part about this location but employees are usually kind & its normally well stocked as long as its not the beginning of the month.

I really like this store. Its very clean and I was asked if I needed help by several employees..nothing like walmart!!

WinCo on Watt Avenue is a sweet shop, attached to a small Mall.. pretty cool place to get some Sushi, walk the mall and spend a few hours with family and friends.

Not bad place to shop, but you cant get help in person or especially over the phone! Rows need to be named better. Hard to find somethings. I do like that they are owned by the employees for the most part. Could use a lot more employees throughout.

Winco is a really good place to buy groceries. The prices are really good and they a huge inventory. The only thing I dont like is that when I get done shopping there I am exhausted because the place is so big that you do alot of walking. It just wears me out. I have a lung condition thats probably why and the fact it is so big.

Definitely one of the better run Wincos, nice and clean, stocked well, good prices, and friendly staff. I used to drive all the way out to Folsom but now I can stay close to home and goto this one. The entrance/exit is a little odd, but anyone going to Winco should be expecting to do some walking, moving around, and bagging. Five stars! 🙂

The staff here are always helpful and nice. The store is kept near and clean. Everything is also a great deal, even the Vegan options.

It was painless. My first time there, I just need to shop there more to get familiar with everything. I must say the clerk at self checkout, she was the cherry on top of my visit. She has a beautiful spirit

Great prices, but no mask enforcement at all. Only come if you dont care about people wearing masks or wearing them improperly. If you care about things like the spread of the coronavirus, this will be a tough place to visit.

Good variety of food at very good prices. They seem to retain their employees. My one complaint, and its a big one, is that their stores are never prepared to open on Saturdays. Aisles completely blocked with palettes or shelving, no produce or seafood out. These pictures were taken at 7 and 8 am on two different occasions. Its frustrating to have to fight my way down an aisle, or to not be able to buy the things I came in for unless I go in the middle of the day.

Good store for affordable price. Always buying there food for family. Very fresh and good quality.

This winco here has some fresh seafood i got some whole lobsters and crab half and it was definitely 😋 great food prices but they prices has gone up you would think gas and food prices would go down amen. One of the cheapest places here. They have bulk loose tea, bulk grains and pasta, and bulk coffee beans as well. Many choices in the beans of around 20, but only like 5 for the loose tea.

Place is an absolute JOKE, always have self checkout closed at night and rediculous lines even during the day, like they can’t hire more cashiers.. guess cheap prices means cheap customer service as well?

They have almost everything. Cashiers are quick. Early morning for best quick experience.

Sufficient parking on both ends of store. The selection and pricing is great. Employees always carry cards so they can direct you to that elusive item. Employee owned. Not much else I can say.

I was able to purchase what I needed and when I asked the questions they were polite and knowledgeable.

I shopped at the Watt Ave Store in March of 2021 and have not been back. I bought celery and within 2 days the stalks were like rubber, I have found moldy fruit in the produce section and bought pesto sauce in the past that was a year out of date. I was talking with a couple of other customers about peppers and a man who appeared to be a manager tried to interfere in our conversation as if we were breaking a store regulation....very odd. A friend of mine and I were shopping and his car window was smashed and some computer equipment was stolen out of his rear seat during the day from the Winco parking lot. Also the store set up seems hazardous. Those long corridors that lead to the main entrance from the front and rear of the store provide no escape if there was any kind of emergency. I have been shopping at this location since it opened and dont know if I will be back.

Good selection reasonable prices and clean store.

WinCo Foods insures that every time I drive the extra distance to go there its worth every penny. The customer service is always very good even though they seem to have a large Salesforce. The quality of the food is not anything I ever question consistency taste preserve ability just the whole idea of how they do business suits me admirably ease of access ease to find products in a reasonable fashion. The only time I ever go to another store is to supplement things that I dont have time to drive all the way over there for other than that it is my primary shopping place and I consider myself to be healthy and have a decent food budget thanks to WinCo

Excellent Customer Service ! All shelves fully stocked.Fresh produce.Plenty of room t shop.What was amazing was there were no lines @ck out!! Why ?? Because of excellent management @this location.Ten check out lanes OPEN ! The only issue was @ the Fresh Seafood 🦞🦀 Deli style CounterOmg a line of 12 people and growing.I pass on this due to the line.Plenty of carts available. Highly recommend this location for its Superior Management and high quality of production(100% assuring all products are available.No empty shelveshere !! Happy Holiday ⛄🎅🎄

Absolutely love Winco foods! The best grocery store in the area! Its a big, bright, clean store with a lot of variety. They have a bakery, fresh meat, seafood, and Deli counter. Their prices are extremely good, its like a big box store but you dont have to buy giant quantities to get good prices. They have their signature large bin section where you scoop what you need from cereal, to nuts, to dry baking ingredients. The bin area also includes a ground coffee portion, spices, and even candy (great for Halloween stocking). Fresh produce, great prices, and awesome variety you cant lose when you shop here!

Its in-expensive, they got just about anything you could need, its WinCo.It would be really nice if they could get more of a variety of lunch meats than just ham & turkey.SOME GOURMET COOKIES out of their bakery would be freakin awesome! I mean, honestly, who would have a complete commercial bakery shop in their arsenal and at their disposal and NOT be making some of the greatest cookies known to man. TURN THEM BAKERS LOOSE AND LET THEM CREATE! May i suggest you have them start with some -> peanut butter peanut butter chip chocolate chunk

Let me spare yall a trip here. Employees at the check out are really nice.....the people who shop here though, is another story. It was my first and last visit here. It felt like walking through a mob of rude people.

The service there is Good compared to other sites, they have a Great selection of everything.

Im a frequent weekly shopper of this store and the checkers are professional and friendly. Always get through the lines in a timely manner, but my advice is get there early in the morning if you can, it gets busy as the day goes.

I wasnt sure what the hours were or if they changed because of Covid. When I drove up at 658a I noticed baskets blocking the door way giving the illusion the store was closed so I waited in my car until 701a then walked up to the door and it opened. I just needed to run in real quick before I started work. Overall the store was clean and the cashier was nice.

WinCo is a nice place to shop atIs clean, is huge, and planty of help . they have any thing that u might need to cook with, bakery deli .yes fried chicken and some other hot.food, price reasonable not too high at all like other market such as? You know.

Great selection of produce,meats,frozen foods the only bad thing is they had 3 registers open besides self check out so there lines are pretty long but I gave them 4 stars because there cashier was very nice which makes up for the other slack

This store isnt played out like the other wincos however, you will still get the same great deals. You may not find everything but seemly 90% is there.

This place said theyre open until 12am yet they close the entrance 40 mins before closing. I dont normally shop late at night but I needed some last second ingredients. I wont count on this place in the future.

STOP!!! Please do not go to this store. It has to be the worst Winco I have ever shopped at. The floors are dirty, deli is sub-par, the seafood frozen thawed out fish and you can smell how bad it is way across the other side of the store. The produce was old and some was routen when I went and the milk was even out dated.Then theres the customers who shop there ... wow! Rude, inconsiderate and hopeless. Only about 40 percent of the people shopping were wearing a mask and no one was social distancing at all. The store did nothing to insure your health safety at all. I was standing in the longest line ever because they two or three cashiers there and this whole family was not wearing any mask and kept getting closer to me. I tried to stand on the other side of my cart but the lady complained to the cashier that I should move my cart to the end so she could get by me while I was paying. He told to move it I said no, after I am done paying I will move the cart to bag my groceries. They ladies scream at me and called names, got in face started coughing on me and threatened my life and she was the one doing wrong. I just want to have them stand back from me. The cashier did nothing or the manager or security guard if that what he was. The whole experience was horrible and I never felt so unsafe to shop at a.store than Winco on Watt Avenue. If you value you health, dont want to catch COVID and shop in a store where you feel save a welcomed DO NOT GO TO WINCO ON WATT AVENUE. If you do you will be Highly Disappointed!!!!!!!

Great prices and well-stocked, but SEVERAL customers without masks. And many more (including employees) with masks not on properly. I even overheard a few customers talking about how great it was that they didn’t have to wear masks.
