Just as much as I love cigars, I love the people you meet at your local B&M’s. The people at Tobacco Road are no exception. My cousin lives in the area and I had heard about TR previously. I walk in and I was taken aback with how big it was and was warmly greeted by Zee, the owner. I go into their large humidor and start seeing what they have. They have a solid selection of your big brands but also boutique brands like Foundation & Crown Heads. After grabbing several sticks a meet Dave and started chatting Zee up as well. We had a great convo and they invited me back so that we could have a proper smoke and convo. That’s what it is all about.Definitely stop by Tobacco Road for a great selection of premium cigars, accessories and amazing people. Thanks for the hospitality Zee, I will be back soon.

I love this place. I’m a pipe smoker and their selection is excellent. Owner is a true gentleman who knows his stuff and has the freshest tobacco in stock. Always people enjoying a cigar or pipe hanging out when I come in, great atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and check out this shop, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic selection of pipes and accessories and a large, very fresh selection of pipe tobaccos. Theres also a large, seemingly well stocked humidor of cigars. The customer service is always top notch and very knowledgeable.

Very welcoming. I came in asking for help getting started with my new pipe and they took their time with me explaining how to pack the bowl and recommended a nice mild tobacco to begin with. Ill definitely be back for more.

Wonderful shop with a get atmosphere!

Although this says Ive not been there for 7 months, I visit tobacco road frequently.Product is excellent and well-cared-for.The shop has a very welcoming feel to it and I think the shining star of the shop has to be the owner who is known asZ.He cares about his store, cares about his customers and he himself is a blast, just a really fun guy. Every single time I come in there, he puts a really big smile on my face and I always laugh out loud, sometimes at my own expense!There are many shops in the Sacramento area that you can visit, this place has that extra something that I think you will love as I do.They carry cigar products and also pipes and pipe tobacco. All of it is very good quality. No cheap quality stuff in this store.P.S. They are open for business now and if I were you, if you need any of these things, I would go visit. I highly recommend this business.

Good selection of cigars and tobacco here, but i wouldn’t recommend buying a pipe here. Bought a pipe here for twice what it is anywhere else(didnt know the brand until after i had bought it). Loose tobacco was good and fairly priced but the tins were more way overpriced. The guy working the counter was a bit touchy at first, but a decent guy and helpful. If Im in the area i would go back for the loose tobacco, but will not buy a pipe or a tin from here as i can get both for lower prices (and higher quality pipes) from other local shops.

Staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind. Willing to go above what is necessary for the job. This store also has very great selections of tobacco products from high-end cigar brands to reputable selections of cigarette tobacco. Would recommend for both beginner tobacco enthusiasts and experienced ones.

This is by far the best cigar shop. The owner will remember your name and greet you with a hand shake a hug and smile every time. The selection of cigars is great and you can come sit, smoke and visit catch the game if you like. You wont be disappointed.

Been coming to this cigar shop for 5 years now. Always friendly, good service, good selection of cigars and pipe tobacco and reasonable price. I would recommend the shop without hesitation.

The person who was working in the walk in humidor offered some really nice suggestions based on past cigars Ive enjoyed. Ended up grabbing three of his suggestions. Large selection of cigars. They have a nice smoking area as well.

The owner is helpful and friendly, lets you browse the walk in humidor without any pressure but is their to help if youd like. The older guy that helps out when the owner is not there however follows you around the humidor watching your every move even after you decline his assistance, very annoying! The prices are higher than other shops in the area per stick or per box. The selection is good and thats what brings me in.

Went here for the first time being a long time cigar smoker recently converting to a pipe. Oscar was quite helpful and showed me a nicely priced Savanelli which Ill probably go back and buy within the next few months. Since I was treated well Ill be back and maybe make this place my go to tobacconist.

Outstanding! The leave of service, knowledge, and welcome I recived was by far the best I have had anywhere. Not to mention a cigar shop. I am form out of town but come to Sacramento often. I will wait to get what I need just to give these guys my business. And if I cant they ship awesome.

I came in to browse and possibly buy a pipe and tobacco. Staff was unfriendly and followed me around like I was going to steal something. I felt so uncomfortable that I left without buying anything. Very nice store though with nice selection of pipes and cigars.

Zee hardly treats his customers as patrons that pay his bills. He’s a major cheapo and regularly offended me. He was constantly asking me why I didn’t buy more, asking me where I was buying other cigars as I’m purchasing cigars from him, pretending not to know who was calling him on the phone, charging me retail on used products, charging for shipping a lighter that wasn’t fixed for over 6 months (because he didn’t send it). I was a customer for years and regular patron weekly if not more. When briar patch closed their Loehmanns location I came even more. Finally I was fed up with the lighter situation after his rudeness saying he wasn’t going to spend time or money on a lighter that wasn’t purchased from him. This was after it we spoke about it and I asked his help because the other shop was closed. You’re just a number here, go elsewhere where your thousands purchased on cigars is met with respect and humility.

This is really a great place. The only downfall is they dont allow alcohol nor do they sell it. In sayiing that I have been unable to find any place in the area that does. Sacramento lets step up our game.

This place may have existed here once upon a time. However, a 5 Guys Pizza Pl. now occupies its former location.

Very good selection of cigars in the spacious walk-in humidor. They also have a selection of infused cigars if you are into that sort of thing. Plenty of accessories to choose from, such as cutters, lighters, humidors. Very good selection of pipes and pipe tobaccos. The smoking lounge has about a dozen comfortable leather chairs and a sofa that you can sink into while you puff on your stogie as well as some bar stool type chairs. They also have a tv mounted on the wall with dvd player for your viewing pleasure. The guys who work there are friendly and knowledgable and are eager to help you pick out a cigar.
