The guy working was nice and helpful. Said hello when I entered even though he was chatting with someone there. The store has a great amount of comics along with other gaming things. I came here just for the comics. I knocked it down a star only due to how messy the place was. The back part of the store may have been getting renovated(?) but it was a bit messy. They had a small amount of bargain comics but nothing too exciting. Sales on their back issues which is good. The guy working didnt mention anything about opening a saver or anything which surprised me since one might think everyone should be at least told of the service. I used to work at comic stores for over a decade and its not the most lucrative industry. But this spot has been around forever so hey, what do I know?

Nice helpful staff member, but the shop was a mess. Lots of stacks of books laying around. Certain areas were so bad I couldnt get to the boxes below. Im a digger and I was overwhelmed.. One other thing I found odd was the complete separation of the variant covers. All back issue variants have their own boxes. ASM variants arent with ASM.. And so on. Is this common and Im just used to all the other shops in my city? Clean the clutter and it could easily be a 4+star shop. Tons of good comics un-slabbed.!

Great comic store. They just got in an X-Men run and was able to find a better copy of my #110. They do not over price their back issues either. Visit this place, friendly owner.

Ive been going there more recently and its a pretty darn good place. People working there are nice and help you if youif they can. Highly recommend going there.(they also have a pretty big selection of Comics and different card games)

Comics & Collectibles is a fun place to visit. They have a wide variety of comics, books, toys, and games there and knowledgeable, and friendly staff to help you find what you are looking for. They often have events that bring in author/artists signings and/or local musicians, and frequent Game Days. They are currently doing a food drive to help the local Food Bank.

My 9 year son loves going to this store to buy the latest comic books. The employees are friendly and very helpful. Go here if you live in South Sacramento and need comic books.

The staff is amazing, and the prices are quite reasonable. I would say my one point of contention would be a lack of room and supplies for TCGs. Still, they make the most of the space they have. Its a friendly neighborhood comic shop, and can certainly save a lot of the players in this area some time from having to go way across town for some basic stuff or activities. I liked my time there.

Great selection of gold/silver age titles with fair prices. Long boxes for days! A fun place to fill your pull-list. Friendly staff welcomes readers of all ages. They support indie creators and YES they have Cathair Apocalypse!

Sorry to say I was not impressed with the comic selection here. Generally disorganized, on the wall selection, and the shop seemed more focused on gaming.

Super friendly staff and awesome events calendar.Their comic selection is great for collectors and followers of most common publishers, and they have a pretty significant backstock of most mid to high popularity comics.Their wargaming selection is admittedly a little slim, but they more than make up for it in available play space and a willingness to teach new players most games.I look forward to attending a hobby night in the near future!

A great place with the shop owner and employee being helpful and the stores customers being kindly helped with in the time they are there.I mainly go there for the magic the gathering tournaments they hold there every Friday night (with out something changing that just cant be helped) the cards they have there are mainly magic the gathering but also have pokemon packs and yugioh packs.They are also probably known for having hence the name comics & collectibles which are a big range just I havent been through them for the reason Im not a big reader but the customers that do go the comics leave satisfied.

I would just like to start off by saying the fact that I am currently pressing near the ripe age of 40 and Comics & Collectibles still exists and is running strong is a credit to the business itself. Having survived several national economic drop offs into an abyss with nothing more to sell than the product of imagination. A Herculean or Super human acheivement! 💪I am not rating 5 stars only because it will show an obvious bias. That said, if you shop here and your main focus is collecting comic books, then you are going to be right at home. The people that have and do work here now and in the past helped make this a store, clearly, more than the sum of its parts. Unimpressed. Poor layout, poor selection. They have comics, but their collectibles are in very short supply. Graphic novel selection nearly zero. Trading card selection nearly zero, table top selection extremely limited. They should change the name of the shop to Just Some Comics.
