Just signed up to be a tenant here for the second time. Because of my experience the first time, they were my first call when I needed storage again. Liz is extremely friendly and helpful and welcoming. A breath of fresh air especially since moving can create such stress. This place is clean, fairly priced and conveniently located. You cannot go wrong.

Climatized. Clean. Competent. Cordial.Love this place. I needed a place to store all of my things while I was selling my house and figuring out where to next. East Sac Self Storage is the best place I could have picked. It gave me a clean, safe space to sort through things and pack up for shipment. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they kept an eye out for me, even asking whether I was comfortable staying in the building by myself when they closed the office (office closes at 6pm weekdays, but renters may use the facility until 7pm). During office hours, they monitor everything that’s going on via video surveillance. All in all, I am super impressed with this place and would recommend it to everyone who values their valuables. No dust on my stuff! No damage from heat or dryness. Totally worth the rent here.

The lack of carts makes this storage facility almost useless. The staff are also very rude about the topic.

The manager Elizabeth needs some with basic customer service skills.I spoke with her in the beginning on May to set up bill pay. I always do a small amount to make sure there are no issues getting applied to the correct account. I asked her several times if the payment arrived and would she give me call when it did so I can make the full payment, she said she would....its not uncommon for the staff to be on lunch or walking the perimeter so its difficult to make a payment in person.When I spoke to her the 1st week of June, she told me the check arrived and then told me I SHREDDED it.I asked why, response was We dont take partial payment.Ok, maybe you should have mentioned that when I asked about the bill pay and at the very least a courtesy call would have been appropriate.And to top it off she had attitude with me, like I did something wrong.

Facility is impeccable, units are very safe, security is great, but what makes it absolutely my first choice to store personal property, or business related is the crew. Wow awesome, polite, resposable, helpful, friendly, great communication skills, always with a smile. Thank you for all your help Richard !

Could this place be any better when you need them? Storage is expensive but Nicole made my reservation, getting information and plans pretty darn pleasant! Clean, beautiful and easy to navigate. This is my new recommendation!

Great storage choice and the friendly yet handsome Manager on duty explained everything very well.

The lights are motion controlled and the one outside our unit goes off every 40 seconds (we timed it) The staff said there was nothing they could do to keep the lights on so we just make sure to bring headlamps everytime we need something. Its pretty inconvienient and Im a little disappointed in the staffs response. Not to mention, being trapped in the back of your storage unit when the lights inevitably go out isnt really safe.

Well I guess they are now called storage star. I just called in to reserve/rent a unit. The lady on the phone made it seem like it was such a huge inconvenience to ask for prices. She was very rude, and couldnt wait to get me off the phone. So, they just instantly lost some easy business.

Prices went up. Still not too bad. The CLEANEST storage facility ever.

WOW! I have had a unit at this facility since about October and I have never been treated as poorly as I was today.I received a call indicating that my lock was not on my unit properly. I have not been at my unit since the beginning of March. The temporary attendant would not be more specific and ended the phone call.I called back (it took me calling five times within ten minutes before I was able to get him on the phone) and the attendant was able to decipher that the last time the door on my unit was opened was the same day that my personalized access code was also used.I asked why it took them over one month before they called me to notify me that my lock was on right and they guy lost it on the phone and actually began yelling at me that it was my duty to put my lock on correctly.It may be my duty to put the lock on properly but I should have known THAT SAME DAY that I did put my lock on wrong NOT OVER A MONTH LATER. This place claims to be the most secure facility in Sacramento, they should be walking the floor everyday.I really hope all of my stuff is still there tonight because Im at work and I cant leave early. Oh yeah, even though I gave notice on the phone, consider this your 30-day notice that I am vacating your facility.

I think this place is a phishing scam. Keep getting emails about a unit I reserved (when I never reserved a unit...literally I live across the country) and when I call no one ever answers.
