Im no comic expert, but this place is pretty rad. My wife, three children (aged 9, 7, and 4), and I visited Galaxy Comics this past Friday for the first time. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Comics galore! And many other comic-based items, such as action figures, games, other comic-related literature, and an assortment of other goodies. The owner was working, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Needless to say, we were rather impressed and will be frequenting this establishment for many years to come! 🙂

Huge Selection of new and old comics. Very knowledgeable staff. My first time in was my first time in a comic book store and they were extremely helpful in getting me started with my collection.

Great comic shop. Owner is honest, helpful, and super knowledgeable. Ive always gotten the help I needed and have been able to find the comics Ive been looking for. Fair pricing on everything and a huge selection. If you dont see something, ask because they probably have it or can get it for you. I also appreciate the variety of new comics, including a pretty good selection for kids. Its nice to see. Check out this store, its easily one of the best around.

Great store! Huge amount of back issues, magazines, graded books, and more complete bundled sets of series than Ive ever seen. Youll absolutely find something here regardless of what youre looking for.

One you get the owner talking he is very knowledgeable and nice.

I absolutely love this place. It also doesnt hurt that the owner is pretty awesome and is willing to order just about anything for just about anyone. Its a great place to pick up all your comic book and pop culture needs.

I really didnt want to post this review, I support our local community, however the customer service was not good. I honestly felt like we were a bother being there. I have never had to say this in my life, but I thought maybe because we were Hispanic, or just assumed something else. He didnt make eye contact until he took the payment. I have never felt so uncomfortable. Not a good image, especially if its customers first time in the store.

Galaxy Comics has been doing business in Saginaw forever and they have a lot of good reviews so I hate having to give a poor review. Especially to any local business, and most especially to something like a comic shop, which is something I generally enjoy going to.Galaxy Comics has pretty good service, but for their free comic book day selection they were handing out mainly books from previous years. Perhaps I got in late, but they simply did not have any of the new free comic book day stuff.I was thinking of looking at the DC trades given that I spend way too much money on that stuff, but they really didnt have much that wasnt batman. I didnt see any of the Rebirth trades, or any of the newer stuff thats been coming out recently.Most of their collection is dusty boxes on folding tables in the middle of the shop. In other words, old issues from people who sold off their collection to make rent. That is pretty cool if you are looking for an older run or something, but if you wanted that Hawkman book 2 from last month or wanted to catch up on All Star Batman, you simply arent getting those books at Galaxy Comics. They simply do not have a good stock of trade paperbacks.

Long standing business in the community, needs to be more attentive to customer interactions and services however. Gave store owner a series of comics for CGC grading in January. Was given an approximate return of business of 20 - 30 days. It is now the end of May and have not received my property back mostly due to owner not shipping my books in a timely fashion (late March). Poor service will not likely be returning again.

I go about every other Saturday and find what Im looking for with friendly service and great deals.

Went in there with comics to sell. Guy looked put off by us being there, told us he’d rather we do the work than him. Very unhelpful.We separated them by type let him pick through them, and like a jerk threw them back in the box out the order we put them in.Don’t bother coming here.

Only place ill eve buy my comics dudes a great guy and easy to talk to and is always happy to help u track down the books ur missing

Large selection, well organized.

Probably the largest collection of comics in Saginaw, but it could do better still if they offered discounted prices on new releases like Coys comics does and if the staff were a tad bit more friendlier
