Came in there with my girlfriend and rude is an understatement. I had had my mom’s ring I wanted to trade in that was from Kay jewelers. They told me that I couldn’t do that. I had the okay from customer service to even do it. I had CASH IN HAND to make a purchase from store. Too bad I don’t purse from RUDE employees and RUDE managers. I will go to another store.

I purchased a $600 watch and the women there were friendly up until I handed over my cash. As soon as I paid them I took the watch out of its box to put it on and that’s when I realized it was too big. So I asked them to remove one or two links from the watch but the same “friendly” lady told me that she cannot touch my watch due to Covid. I was baffled because this woman was just acting all helpful but the moment I gave her my cash the incentive to be helpful was gone and it showed. In the end she did not adjust my watch even though I had just bought it, but she was happy to take my cash which is significantly dirtier than the brand new watch I had just payed for. I just really don’t understand the logic. It was comparable to dealing with a common crook. Horrible place to purchase jewelry....purchased two of the same bands for wedding ring set and they gave me 2 different bands and wont fix the problem. They just tell me all stones dont look the same. Sorry but when they are both supposed to be vera wang bands and only one of them says it inside I am not stupid.. but the manager is from a different location so its not her problem and none of their faults because they are from other stores

Where should the list start...just to many complaints. Back when my ring was bought and when I bought my husbands ring they were great. That was also back in 2011/2012. I have been in an almost 2 week battle with them from not being called for an estimate for work that I didnt want. Then them lying to corporate about what I was told to cover themselves. Doing work on my jewelry after telling them 3 times I didnt want the work and just wanting my jewelry back then them trying to charge me for work I DID NOT want!! My ring doesnt even look the same as before. Diamonds are all cockeyed and not aligned like before. Horrible customer service they never answer their phones because they are SO busy. Even though when I was in the store the clerk I was working with left twice to answer phones while one woman sat on her phone and another woman walking in after getting her eyebrows done. Oh and they also hang up on you when you are getting frustrated and trying to figure out why you are being charged so much money when you didnt say yes for them to do the work in the first place. I am normally not the type to leave bad reviews or become angry at others but this experience with the store is through the roof. So honestly if you want good service pleasego somewhere else you wontget it at this location.....

I got stopped being put on schedule for something that wasnt my fault. It was my first week and someone came and stole a ring that I was presenting to them. I didnt know it was going to happen. I was even told by the assistant manager that it wasnt my fault. Its crazy how I got treated and punished for it when someone was suppose to be at my side at all times anyway. But I get did wrong. So I had no choice but to quit after 4 weeks of getting played. I would get calls from another store to pick up hours but then get told nevermind. I was told there is no sales thats why I wasnt being scheduled. But I knew there were other reasons besides that one. You couldve just fired me after the incident instead of telling me some bs.

Worst service at this Kays. I brought my ring in to get the diamonds checked and since it was bought at the midland Kays they asked me why i didnt take it back there and i was treated very poorly i assume its the same company🤔

I have gotten most of the jewelry that I have for my wife there, they have a very wide selection A Fine Jewelry, the staff is very helpful and always willing to work with you, their prices are reasonable for what you are getting, I like to get the stuff when its on sale so I will get an email when stuff is on sale, recommend to anyone that is looking for jewelry to check out Kay Jewelers you cannot go wrong at K.

I went into this location looking for a wedding band to wear for work, an I walk in two girls in there working, one was with a couple, an the other was helping another individual, ok Im fine with that...so I waited almost 15 min an no one even acknowledged me, so Im thinking ok maybe when one of them gets done, they will help me. Nope, as the on associate continued to help the couple, the other lady became free. I walked up to her to inquire about bands an she said Ill be with you once Im done changing a battery on this watch. Im thinking oooook you cant put that down for a sec to answer my question? This location has horrible customer service, not one associate even bothered to acknowledge me. Dont get me wrong, Im not expecting them to roll out the red carpet when I walk in but at least speak to the customers as they enter the store. Needless to say, I wont be shopping at this location any longer.

I bought my engagement ring here. The one that sold it to me, was kind, and knew we didnt have alot of money. But she was so kind we end up buying it. Then I we go to make a payment on it, there was another sales women, and she act like we wouldnt buy it here. Asking if we bought it here. To get it resized. Asking if we bought the gauranty there. Really. And then we said we have 250. Each wedding band, she showed me an expensive one. And then Ron asked what you have that s cheep she said, they diont have any cheeper the over 350. So she didnt want to work with us. So I went to Sears. Im sorry, I just didnt feel like she didnt want to sale us anything. Sad

If I could give no stars I would. This place is a joke. I went into Kay’s in the Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw on Friday (8/23/18) and I am quite upset to say the least. I went in to pick up my ring that was getting worked on (the diamond was lose) and I had my yellow sheet of paper out to pick it up. There were only two associates working and they were assisting customers (which is completely understandable). I too work in sales, so I completely understand how people work off commission and they need to get their sales. I GET IT. I literally was a manager at David’s bridal, so it was centered around selling and getting your commission! The difference between me and those associates working at Kays, is the customer service. I waited there (NO LIE) 40 minutes to pick up my ring (and keep in mind, the pick up took 30 secs tops). Also, I must add that one of the girls that was working happened to know her customer personally, so they continued to chat about everyday things- not even about the sale. This was after she stepped away from them to grab them a piece of jewelry quickly, and I politely asked if she could grab my ring quickly because I was on a time crunch ( which I was, and the fact that I was waiting 30 mins at that point). She then says, “ I will get your ring after I am done with my customers”. Ummmm, excuse me? I waited there 40 mins to PICK UP my ring. You couldn’t step away from a “potential sale” for 30 secs to assist me and send me on my way. That is horrible customer service. My point is, these women that were working couldn’t care less about me because I wasn’t a “potential sale” for them, and after knowing I had a simple pickup, they continued to ignore me and make me wait. She could have kindly told her customers, “do you guys mind waiting while I go get her ring for her pickup?”. Especially knowing that she knew these people personally, they would have waited for her to come back for her to get the sale. And I most also add, while these ladies were chatting with their customers for 40 mins, there were 3 sets of other couples that came in that got NO assistance and an woman who needed help too. All potential customers that KAYS lose out on. Management might also want to be more staffed too-just saying...if you want actual money for your business in the future . I will never return, never recommend, and never buy from this jeweler again.

So, today I went to Kay Jewelers in Saginaw MI to replace a lobster clasp on a silver bracelet I got from my parents when I was 15 years old. I was told that it cost me $100. So I went to Osterman Jewelers just across and it cost me $40. SO SCREW YOU KAY JEWELERS. Totally overpriced.
