I went to get some doughnuts one morning, but I guess I got there way too early (about 10-15 minutes earlier than their scheduled opening). They still opened the door for me though, which was really kind of them to do, as it was cold outside that morning.I ordered a dozen doughnuts but the staff (who were super polite and super kind) told me that I had to wait for awhile since they werent done making them. I patiently waited and sat down. (My fault for coming too early anyway)The Managers (or... Owners? Not sure which one, but it doesnt really matter. What matters is that they were extremely nice) gave me some doughnut holes and some coffee while I waited! 😁After that day, I have become a frequent customer and every time I go there... Theyve always been consistent with their awesome customer service. Definitely and highly recommended place to get doughnuts to anyone living in the Saginaw area. Polite, friendly and nice staff. Awesome customer service. And the place is always clean.

Very professional and warm service. The manager Kim was the person who helped us with our order and she was very patient and helpful with our big order.you can tell she knows what she is doing. The whole operation seemed well run and professional. Oh and the do-nuts were good also!

Outstanding service, delicious products, excellent staff. We scheduled a group of 40 antique cars to stop and pick up their choice of donuts. Kim worked with us and it was a great start to our tour. Thanks to everyone at Shipleys Do-Nuts in Saginaw.

Use to go all the time but this morning they charged me $13 for donuts I never asked for. They used the excuse they got the order mixed up. Whatever, I was the only one there. They just didnt listen to me. Double check your order before you leave or you get what they want to give you.

This is a great shipleys. The hot and fresh glazed donuts are as good a donut as Ive ever had. The kolaches, which is why I go are good, a little smaller (less dough) than some of the other shipleys I have been to, but still very good. I like that they actually put jalapeño in the spicy sausage ones. Some other Shirleys just put in pepper jack cheese.Everyone inside was also very nice

We went today 7/28/21. Lady was suuuuper nice! Prices are good compared other places we been. Little ones loved them we will for sure be back!!!

Everyone has always told me that Shipleys is the best Donut shop around. I didn’t believe it. I thought nothing could be better than Krispy Kreme. Boy was I wrong! This place has the best donuts I have ever had! Definitely worth stopping by and trying. I will continue to buy from here from now one.

Best donut place weve found in Saginaw. Always fresh and have never had an issue. Drive through normally has a line during peak times but they keep it moving pretty fast.

Used the drive thru service was quick and friendly. Donuts are superior to any Ive had in 57 years! Must go...dont miss out!

I was waiting for this location to open as Shipley donuts are much better than basic donut stores. I don’t agree they should be given a bad review on miscommunication or if you don’t feel customer service was up to your standards because this location just opened and are still working on things. So I ignored the other negative review. For my visit I was helped right away. Any questions I had they more than happily answered for me. Yes there was some miscommunication between me and the person helping me, but they do have more traffic coming in and out and the drive thru which make it louder inside. Other than that they try to make sure to take care of you with no issues. Pricing seemed fair to me as you are getting a better donut in my opinion. Once I was able to get home to eat I was not let down. The donuts were so much better than what I have found in this area. The dough was soft and seemed fresh compared to other stores dried out donuts that seems a day old. I was very happy with my visit and look forward to coming back many more times!

This location has very quick service. I buy 3 dozen donuts every Friday for my work. The drive thru is very fast. It takes about 2 mins to get my order and Im on my way. The staff is very friendly and they usually give me a free bag of donut holes as a thank you for my business. That is a very nice touch. Keep up the great service.

Went in after work as I go into work before they open. Very excited for a new donut shop. When arriving a very nice customer let me ahead as she was still deciding. Waiting approximately 10 min while the lady behind the counter talked on her phone. No greating or Ill he right with you, just awkward if someone was going to take my order. After waiting I placed my order the total seemed incorrect. I questioned it but there was a communication issue. Unsure how to handle it I paid the total (line was growing) I asked if the old fashion cinnamon rolls came with cream cheese icing or frosting? Seeming really confused I asked again. The lady kept pointing at the glazed donuts. I tried to explain what I was looking for (unsure if its something that comes with them as first time being to Shipley Do-Nuts) overall I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I wanted to contact via email but wasnt able to find an email address.

I absolutely love Shipley and will for sure be back, but I may wait a few weeks. We stopped in this morning and the donuts are not yet up to Shipley standard. My cream filled was soggy, and dense and the glaze wasnt set. My plain cake donut had an aftertaste of something very chemical and oily. The coffee was great though, and given some more practice, Im sure they will be up to par! Im looking forward to that time!

I have been in twice, both times they gave excellent customer service. They have a delightful chocolate donut.I found the pig in a blanket a disappointment. It was bland.The cinnamon twist was more costly than at the other donut shops nearby, but it was much more filling and similar to a pastry than other places.

I’m loving this new addition to Saginaw! The hours, the quality, the environment & the employees are all on point! It blows the other donut locations out of the water! Highly recommend! 🍩

I have gave this place few tries because I wasn’t sure if I came in at bad times or got a bad batch of donut. I tried both during their opening week and recently. Overall, all of the donut I have tried tasted old and stale...only the glaze donut seem to be made on that day... The sausage roll is the biggest disappointment for me and I had to make stop at different donut shops to grab my kolaches. There is too much breading in proportion to meat and the bread is too plain. I want to like this place because the location and drive thru is so convinent!

Will definitely go back. Friendly staff, great choices, dine in area, numerous drink choices.
