Phil and staff were beyond helpful and gracious. My wife and I are new to firearms and just completed their NRA Basic Pistol course. The course is taught by Phil Sheridan and was very thorough, safe, and fun. On top of putting on a great course, they were extremely knowledgeable and helped my wife select her pistol. We wanted an extra mag for her pistol but they didnt have any in stock. They placed an order for more and when some came in, they set one aside for her and gave us a call. We didnt ask them to do that. Thats top-notch customer service.

I liked shopping at Sheridan arms for full metal jackets and hollow points in 9mm standard. Got a good deal on both a box of fmjs and hollow points ( no wax coating) few cents cheaper.

Great place for getting your cpl. Excellent instructors, great pricing and very helpful staff. As for driving there, the store is blocked by pine trees from the road and theres no signage near the road so it was difficult to find without GPS on. Otherwise great place.

Mr. Sheridan, (owner of business) did my CPL training and for that alone, I give him a 11/10 on his dedication, and pride in his trade. His availability of products is as “in-stock” as it can be for right now(Corona scam going around). Very fair business and full of the most knowledgeable staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. You Will be a valued customer as soon as you enter the premises.

Refused to sell me body armor because of my skin and gave me bad information. Ive went to them for years and used their range but never purchased a firearm from them, I wanted to get body armor for my wife and myself and they denied me saying I have to renew my cpl every four months and you need a cpl to to be able to get body armor Im not a felon or anything like that, I needed body armor for my job thats gotten slightly more dangerous recently.

I attended the CCW/CPL class on 1/10/21. The class was an awesome experience for me. When I tell you these people go out of the way to make sure that your ok omg they are the best. I was jumpy from the gun shots Mr. Sheridan gave me an extra pair of ear plugs free of charge. Out of the blue I began to cry like a baby and he was right there letting me know everything was gonna be ok. I was slow at loading my gun and Sam had no problem doing it for me. He noticed i was tired from all the standing and he gave me a chair to rest. I got burned in the face from the shell of a bullet and he took his hat off his head and gave it to me for more protection. They are very patient, have great people skills and know their stuff. I highly recommend this place. THANKS GUYS FOR EVERYTHING.

All the workers were very nice. It had a great range for awesome prices. Alot great deals on handguns. Also had a cute puppy roaming the store. Will definitely get my next handgun from here and come back to shoot it.

If it weren’t for the snooty staff members this place would be worth visiting. I tried to rent a sidearm one time(I rented twice before that without this issue) and the woman behind the counter said, “how much ammo do you need?” I told her I already have ammo and she said “well I’m not renting you a gun, you could be trying to break our guns,” to which I replied, “excuse me?.” She then said without hesitating, “well yea you could’ve modified the bullets just so you can ruin our guns.” When I told her how rude that sounds she told me if I don’t like it I can leave, which I did. It was the rudest, most disrespectful encounter I’ve ever had at a gun range. I hardly go here now, she’s not the owner so she can care less if the business loses money and customers. It’s a shame really. People in the reviews complaining about the same rude woman, they should fire her.

This review is a bit late, but I visited this shop in July, and had a wonderful experience. Customer service was exceptional, as well as the quality of the product. I also used their indoor range, which I would rate as a 4/5, regarding the quality of the range and my personal experience using it.

I took the NRA gun safety course here with my wife. This was our second time attending this type of training course and we were both extremely happy with the level of training and personal attention from the staff at Sheridan Arms. The staff was well trained, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Its a bit of a drive for us to get there but Im planning on taking additional training here as It will be well worth it to get this level of instruction.

Friendly staff, awesome range, and I always enjoy coming there, but Id never buy a gun from here.Their prices are very high, even when they have sales their prices are still higher than where I go.I wish theyd consider lowering them because many more sales would occur for them especially from seasoned gun owners who know good pricing.Often theyre 100 dollars more than where I go...Only range Ill shoot at though!! I will say that!

Horrible service,treated like I didnt exist!My Grandfather and I stopped in today he wanted to purchase a gun. But we couldnt get any service the guy behind the counter walked away when we showed interest in a revolver, so I talked to the guy at the counter behind us but he just kept stacking his books so we walked into the other room where the rental guns are kept as we walked in the first employee we tried speaking with pretended to have an important phone call and left the room . After we waited for him to finish his call we walked back into the first room and a female customer walked in and all the employees swarmed her so we had enough and decided to leave not one word was said to us as we left . I have been wanting to check out Sheridan arms for a long time and it was a serious letdown I have been to gun stores all over the country this one is by far the worst Ive been to.

Went to Sheridan Arms on a whim trying to find gun powder while on a trip. They dont stock reloading components, so I was out of luck on that one. On the other hand the guys working the counter were extremely friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable. They also had a good selection of firearms. Even my wife stated after we left how nice the workers were, especially considering some of the other gun shops we have frequented. I will give them my business when my next purchase comes up.

My family came to visit and we scheduled an appointment for 5pm on a Friday to rent machine guns. We were running late and called to make sure that would be okay. We were assured that would be fine and that running late wasnt an issue. We showed up 40 minutes late and they turned us away because 40 minutes was too much and if it were 15 minutes earlier it wouldve been okay. Horrible customer service considering we were fully willing to spend a few hundred dollars. Wont be back and dont recommend this place to anyone.

Great experience. Staff was very professional and helpful. The only down side is the lighting for the range will produce a glare on glossy targets but traditional paper targets work great.

We visited on November 24, 2019. We were very disappointed because they do not take care of their guns. My husband rented a 22 and out of 50 rounds it jammed 17 times. The piece looked like it had never been cleaned. This was brought to the staff’s attention twice and all they did was squirt some oil on it, which did not help at all. Despite their equipment being improperly cared for and potentially unsafe by jamming so many times, the staff would not allow my husband to switch out guns for the remainder of our hour lane rental without paying for a whole new gun, so we left. We do not feel this place takes care of their firearms or offers satisfactory customer service. We will not be back nor will we recommend anyone to this business.

Range is great. Rentals are awesome, but a bit pricey. Very good selection of used handguns every time I visit.

I just bought a ruger 9 four days ago for $160 over what the shop in st Charles has it for. And the lady I dealt with was very rude About everything even the paperwork which made no sense being it her job. But that Didn’t bother me uniting I found out how screwed I got. And the experience was no better I got a call yesterday that they wrote the wrong number on my registration. Not that big of deal to me we all make mistake but I mean come on 160 dollars over retail I will never shop with you again nor will I recommend any of friends or strangers to ever step foot in there. Severally disspapointed!

I called Sheridan Arms ahead of time to verify they do buy Smith & Wesson pistols, and come to find out they they arent accepting pistols at this time. I called 45 minutes before I showed up at this store to verify, and I ended up wasting money on gas. Horrible customer service.. 2/10 for even answering the phone the first time.
