Good selection of organic products for cheaper. Veggies are usually in good quality. Not huge on bread from here; it never seems to stay fresh long. Meat selection is pretty fair for price. Friendly staff.

They have some great prices for foods and alcohol. My first ever trip I saved over $50! Only downside is because of the type of store it is, they dont always have the most variety of options. (No Thousand Island salad dressing, only ranch! Eugh!!)Sandwich meat is either gonna be ham, turkey or chicken. No roast beef. And despite having a small kitchen and homewares section, they have no cheap plates or bowls.

This is a small grocery and not complete, but you can find gems of great prices on certain items, only you wont find that item again on your return trip. The staff are friendly and it is in an out of the way part of town, never crowded. I enjoy shopping there.

There are often great deals, but also buyer beware, some things are at Grocery Outlet for a reason. But if you find an awesome product at an awesome price, hurry back the next day (or even the same day) to grab more of that deal. IMHO, the downtown Salem location has more selection and better deals than the Lancaster location (e.g., two freezer aisles instead of one) and the employees are much nicer.

You never know what youll find here. Its a great place for reduced items and unique things. As far as good goes, all you have to remember is to check the expiration dates

I love the fact that they carry organic foods, and have quite often found good prices on my smoothie superfood powders. I wouldnt be able to eat totally organic without Grocery OutletThank You.

This is my backup Grocery Outlet and only because it is farther from my home than my primary Grocery Outlet. Still...this place is great! The selections here are always plenty and the store is always clean, well stocked and loaded with great beers. A+++!

The ability to shop here and to be able to visit a storage place at the same location is so very convenient. Especially, what the dentist downtown Salem location.Theres always new source of goodies to look at which are possibly helpful might make ones individual work and life experience easier than it was before the goodies.

Its pretty much prices the same as safeway now, so why go get discontinued products and other stores second hand items if its gonna cost the same. I dont know either.

Good prices a variety of products save money, fun to puruse each aisle to find treasures.

Not that crowded. Decent prices on most items. Only issue was the location I went. You cant get to it from one side of the road... you have to go way around. Also... from the direction to access it easily.. you dont see it until its too late.. if see it at all. The signs are hidden behind trees way up high. The building is in a warehouse area. Very easily passed without a thought.

Even though they dont have everything a person may want, they still have a good selection, and customer service is good.

Needs easier access to carts

Really disappointed in the last visit. The Grocery Outlet claimed to be the cheaper place compare to Fred Meyer, Safeway and Walmart. But unfortunately that’s not true. Organic Valley milk is being sold at the same price at Walmart or any other places in town. Smart Water 1L is $1.29 at Walmart but Grocery Outlet asking $1.49. When I speak to the manager that “why it is over price” he just said “we don’t do price match.”Not going to come back this place.

I love, to buy wine here. Groceries, are another story. Not everything, available here. Okay prices.

I went into your D street Grocery Outlet Store today though I bought a few overpriced items I regretted doing so and am appalled by your increasingly raised prices during the Covid pandemic. Today their was no bagged lettuce less than 4.99. Your produce is often old ( today some mushrooms were clearly, absolutely un-edible, yet nothing seems to ever be marked down for quick sale. I hate to break it to you but catchy slogans like Were all in this Together flies in the face of reality many poor people like myself depend on reasonably priced food. This store is now comparable or worse than Safeway ( who actually has fresh produce). Though this store is close to me I will not set foot in it again even after the pandemic ends. I hope you feel good about your price gouging at time like this - just despicable.

Grocery outlet has the selection of various items for great. Do to the fact that they get stuff from other places, they might not always have what you want. But when they do have one you want, you can get it for a really great price.

Grocery Outlet is the best. Best deals are on wine and dry goods, but all the prices are good. Slightly better selection at the gross out on Lancaster though.

They dont always have everything you need. Everything they have isnt always a great price. Shop there first, find the deals, and finish your shopping elsewhere. Or... Maybe dont bother. Whatever. You dont really save THAT much money. Just a few pennies here and there with the odd great deal. I just picked up chicken thighs for 50¢/pound, but everything else was pretty much normal price. Theyre never over-priced, and I guess thats pretty awesome. Beer selection doesnt suck either.

This is a good store. Good deals and items. But they were selling moldy potatoes. We wasted our money. Cause we discovered the potatoes were moldy when my sister was peeling them. and we found moldy blueberries. Also discovered when we were about to wash them.

I like going to this store because the workers are friendly and most of the products are a really good price. It isnt the best looking place to shop which is ok with me. Items typically are stocked in an orderly manner making most things easy to find that I go in there looking for. Sometimes its nice to go in and find surprises too.

Always clean and practically empty every time i visit. The store faces the opposite way (the back of the store faces the front of the street) weird, but I kinda like it like that.

Great prices on unexpected items. Grocery Outlet has prices you cannot beat. There are a line of items that the store standardly carries but the unexpected finds are also a draw and add to the appeal of shopping here for me. I really love the down to earth and friendly staff at this store also. Give it a try. You might find it to be a little adventure to shop here. Also, great to find affordable organic and gluten free products also.

I love this place! You can get some really good prices here. You can find things here like canned goods, frozen food, pet food, laundry soap, softener, wine, snacks, vitamins, + sometimes seasonal clothes.
