They are ALWAYS so nice in here! Especially if you have any questions about herbal remedies, the older dude in the back is AWESOME. The produce is always really good though the prices are a bit more than I’d pay. Also please please never get rid of Rao’s pasta. You’re the only store that carries it now.

I would recommend going to lifesource natural foods before going to natural grocers. Lifesource ismore Family & kid friendly & they give out stickers to kids. Lifesource prices outbeat natural grocers by a landslide & the staff is very friendly.

AMAZING customer service! Super nice and super helpful staff! I was blown away by the helpfulness and just positive, cheerful attitudes - you don’t encounter that a whole lot in retail. I’d totally suggest going here instead of a big box store bc you get great products and it’s just such a great vibe! You’ll leave the store with a good feeling. That never happens when I leave Walmart or Fred Meyers… 5+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I’m telling everybody and their mother to shop here!

I know everyone has supper shortage of staff don’t get me wrong. When you’re turned away or sort of deemed prior to asking a question is just off putting. Like trust me they don’t make a lot or treated correctly I was in customer service for 3 years as management, so I know the issues. But I digress they’re was an older lady in front of me before I had my question who asked really sweet surprisingly, and the employe said in sort of snobby but rude way “I’ll go check might be a shortage of product” (granted justification there in the middle of a pandemic still ) and the customer waited and I wanted, then after they were done with the conversation I walked up to the same employee and asked “Do you have so and so product it looks like it shows available on instacart” (Mind you I’m not instacart shopping, just wanting to know if the product was in) She replies really rudely “We never have had that product and never will thanks and sorry” and walked away I don’t know if she hates banana milk I know for sure if she’s even had it she wouldn’t be so rude in the first place. Just felt like completely taken back by the attitude and rudeness she just needs more bananas I guess. :/ probably not coming back if that’s what the staffs like. But I’m not sure

Many 💕 for this store. People very respectful and nice. Thanks for letting customers make their own decisions/choices. Staying positive is important. I live over half on hour away from the store, but its still worth of coming, or when im in Salem areas on sundays, ill go there .. But wished they were here in Silverton. We need some good selection for natural foods and choices for those who have allergies. I probably shop at this store at least 2&3 a month and I spend quiet a bit, but worth it :) . My kids have food allergies and this store works out for us. Myself have some restrictions too. I forgot the guys name in the supplement area but he is so cool! Great attitude! Also, would be nice if you guys start carrying JUST EGG product. Aperantly good seller!

I genuinely wanted to like this place. I went to it alot actually before I finally got fed up and stopped going. When I first started going I noticed the employees would always stare at me and at first I thought it was because I was new to the area and I wasnt one of the regulars. But it kept happening and without fail no matter where I ended up at in the store there was always an employee 5 steps away from me. I had thought it was because they were super helpful but my hopes were dashed as the way the employees would act around me just seemed to degrade as I kept coming in. I always felt like I was being watched with hostility and I felt I had to dress up because heaven forbid I walk in looking scruffy Id get tossed out on my bum. But the defining moment for me was when I was openly followed around the store by an employee. I hadnt realized at first I thought another customer was trying to make conversation. But then she was in every isles I was in. I actively tried to loose her and she would show up and try to talk to me. Well turns out she was an employee because she got scolded by her superior for talking to me because it was very obvious she thought I was stealing. I thought she was homeless. I was shocked. I had my doubts because no theyre a cute neighborhood market and Ive always paid why would they think I was stealing? Was it because I used food stamps? No it couldnt be because other shoppers have used them. Was it because I was Mexican? And you dont really see any brown people around there much? I sure hope not because Ive seen other employees of ethnic origin. But what really broke the camels back was when I was standing in line and they were short on cashiers and an employee came up and called for the next customer aka me. And low and behold who is manning the register but the lady who wore a long purple jacket and had a red bob cut and thought I was stealing. I could see it on her face too, like she wasnt sorry she did it but was sorry she got caught. That was the last time I went to that store. A shame really because I love what they stand for.

Lately I dont enjoy my visit. The store staff seems overworked and unhappy. They are not polit and the experience is unpleasant.I am thinking of quiting my shopping there if it will continue to be like that.

Very organized especially after trying a certain place with Traders in their title. The staff knew exactly what to find and where to find the items we needed. Found it to be very much like Vitamin Cottage in Colorado.

Great store, all the produce is organic, they have the best eggs prices, but you have to sign up for the free store card. wide selection of local apples, 3 varieties sweet potatoes, cilantro is the best when they have it. Challah bread is a nice treat.My favorite is their bulk section. They have individually wrapped bags of spices, flour, rice, beans, lentils. Dont miss this aisle and its companion cooler in the back.They also now have a store brand for canned items with good prices and quality. Their breakfast cereal aisle has some unique selections.A third of the store is devoted to supplements and vitamins. They have some good prices on their store brand for vitamin c & d.Overall their store is clean, well stocked. The people are friendly helpful. Theyre in between Life Source and Trader Joes.

Overall nice people (a bit woke but not bad) Good deal on vitamins and organic produce. I stocked up on ivermectin, zinc, selenium, D3 and hydroxochlquine

They have one of the best health food stores Ive ever come across. If your dairy free they have an amazing selection. Its hard to eat around your diet, here you wont struggle trying to find options. Plus, they are eco-friendly. I love this store so much

This is a great place to shop small for local and organic food and home items. Always lots of fresh produce and a very clean store. Some of the best vegan options around and very friendly staff. The natural beauty/health section of the store also has a great selection and cool small gifts. Please wear a mask! Hand sanitizer is at the front of the store when you walk in and out. If you need bags bring your own and you have to bag your own stuff right now.

This place has all the natural food for someone who is trying to get healthy. I love buying Luna Mash-up bars this one is Lemon zest and Blueberry. Yummy I bought the whole box.

They have some great stuff but are lacking. Safeway has things I cannot find at natural grocers such as coconut milk without guar gum and the prices are high. But I love the produce options and the siete chips and other food without tons of added garbage. The option to get a turkey without added garbage at Thanksgiving is a life saver.

I will probably never buy from this chain again. They suddenly decided that masking a child who is not required to mask was worth losing customers over. Their store is nothing special. Drive across town, youll get a better price and less hassle.

I go to Natural Grocers to save on items I use a lot of (i.e., shredded coconut, certain flowers, etc.) and they are always great. I end up buying fruits and veggies while Im there b/c they are so good.

Though its pricey, I love this place! It helps keep me compliant with my Paleo diet.

Terrible customer service whether going in or ordering online. They sell old products that are nearly expired or have expired already and won’t give refunds even with pictures of horrible rotten food. Shop somewhere more fresh.

This place is great! Ive been using supplements for decades, and Ive worked at a place in So Cal as a nutritional consultant. This store has almost everything Ive ever used under 1 roof, for an exceptionally good price! While not everything is the absolute cheapest, it is usually in stock, and i use and store hundreds of supplement including homepathic remedies. The people have been extremely friendly and actually somewhat knowledgeable. I believe if you are friendly, the people will pick up on that.

Even well before the Corona situation started I have always had a hard time with this store having items in stock. Its been this way for the last year Ive been shopping here, doesnt matter if Im using Instacart or going there in person, either way its disappointing and inconvenient. Ive come to expect them having 30% of the things on my list out of stock, every time. Please do your buying and inventory better. Normally I dont like to leave negative reviews but its been going on for so long I had to say something.

Organic/Free Range Eggs are so cheap here! Better prices than any other store for regular ones! Prices are a tad high on other items so I only buy here what I cant get organic at another place. But I love the smell of the store!!! I also buy all of my essential oils here! Same or better price than MLM ones and even organic!

The staff are some of the most knowledgeable and beautiful people in the health food industry. From massive melons to plump cucumbers, I’m always able to find just what my heart desires.

Our July 4th 2019 Picnic at Bushs Pasture Park & Botanical Gardens in SE Salem was a huge success. The favorite dish was inspired by a recent shopping trip to this supermarket chain (156 stores). Many of our guests were not acquainted with Ancient Harvest Organic Super Grain Pasta and were delighted to enjoy a super tasty loaded pasta salad that was fun eat and nutritionally dense / heart healthy. I like the store layout and convenient parking too. *****Ten Stars*****

I love this place! They offer a decent amount of different products, and they excel at the amount of bulk foods they carry. All employees have been helpful, and they are always willing to answer questions. They dont use plastic bags, so you have to bring your own. If you forget, they can usually find you a box.

I cant get enough of the smell in this place! My favorite place to get essential oils and all my shampoo, conditioner, body wash toothpaste and lotion! FREE RANGE EGGS for only $1.99! And Free Range Organic only a dollar more! Thats cheaper than regular eggs at other stores. I love this store

Nice store with ample parking. On average they have about the best day to day prices. Trader Joes probably beats them out in a couple of ways, but for organics they have a better selection and are cheaper than Whole foods or Market of Choice.

Fresh organic,non GMO foods at reasonable prices. Great bulk section, personal care and this store is also called the Vitamin Cottage therefore, they have an excellent supplement section. Love this little store!

I spent an hour here getting essentials with my mother. They are less expensive than some online retailers. The staff was nice. We also got a giant jug of apple cider for $10 that was the best I have had in my life.

It was the best sandwich ever!

So at first I just thought the employees were rude to Im guessing everyone because when I walked in I almost ran into to cashier and she said nothing to me even though I excused myself. As I came up to the cash out line again nothing no hello, or, Hi. And then another customer walks in and immediately as shes walking in the cashier smiles and says Hello, good morning. So why were they greeted with a friendly smile and welcome and I got nothing. I did not feel welcome at all

Great store. I feel good about stuff I buy here. They have food, vitamins, shampoo and body creams. They do NOT have plastic bags so be prepared for that. Overall, great store.
