Blackthorne has been challenged with providing a consistent service tech to our property. Having the same tech allows them to become familiar with our system to better maintain it. This is the same challenge most employers are having, but it does deter from the service received.

Our original pool guy who weve had for 20 years retired. Weve had blackthorn for over 2 years. Before they took over the pool was operating perfectly. Since they took over nothing is operated the way my original pool guy had it working. There was a problem every month month Numerous phone calls to customer service service results in a special visit from a service tech @ $95 @ hour without notice and typically no resolution to my problems. They have Its talked me into replacing almost every piece of equipment including all 3 pumps 3 sets of filters.In April they let my pool go to green algae. It took 3 months of chemicals and shock treatments and supper chlorination treatments to clear the water with no explanation as to why it happened. All at my expense.My pool sweep has been serviced 3 times and still doesnt operate properly. It goes to a corner in the pool and gets stuck and will not back itself out like it used to.The last straw was when I had to pay a $95 Is diagnostic free for a third time on the pool sweep. The technicians left me a service tag stating the pool sweep was working fine. After my testing for over two hours, the same problem still existed.There level of customer service and communication with their technicians, the service department and the customer is non existent.

It was a long wait, but so worth it! Will was amazing in sales, kept me current on status and timeline. Installation team was prompt, efficient and professional (not to mention very friendly). We were left with the right chemicals and a very handy sheet on how to apply them. All in all, the experience was outstanding! We have a new hot tub!!

Wish they would have been more communicative about expected delivery date; we waited 8 months with several (COVID-related?) delays, and only got an update when we initiated contact. Ordered and paid for a solar pool cover over the phone and was told it would be there in 3-4 days. After several calls to them, each resetting the date, they finally called me over two months later to say it was in. The only explanation I received was that they changed distributors. This was after waiting over four months for a spa cover, but at least they told me that order would take 2-3 months.

Will at Blackthorn proved to be very helpful to us. The product explanation was what one would hope for. We hit a reasonably good sized snag when we became aware the hot tub would have to be craned (30 ton crane!) into our backyard. Will’s help and referral made that very navigable and less expensive than we expected. You can trust these folks.

I now have my second hot tub - both of them were from Blackthorne. I am very happy with the latest hot tub and have had two maintenance calls. Both were done efficiently. I strongly support Blackthorne Pools & Spas.

Great Installation Experience!Gabriel and David were out at our place yesterday installing our new spa and they were amazing. We didnt have the easiest spot to navigate (not a lot of clearance around the PG&E meter or through the side gate and in between path lights) but these guys did it with care and precision. They were friendly and easy to work with and they took the time to explain it all to us. The initial sale was also a pleasant experience. The only part about the entire transaction that wasnt perfect was the fact that it took several months to get the spa once we ordered it. That wasnt Blackthornes fault. Blame it on the pandemic. Everybodys staying home and buying spas.So far, we have nothing but good things to say about Blackthorne and their folks. Looking forward to a long and satisfying relationship with them all.

I was so impressed by Blackthorne spas. We had talked online before going in. When we went into the store William helped me right away. He was also the person i spoke to online. He answered all my questions with excellent knowledge. My wife accompanied me. And she wasn’t sold on the idea of A big purchase. After we left she was impressed also and within A week we bought the spa and had it installed shortly after. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone.
