I did an online order to be shipped to the store (worse idea ever) UPS lost my package put said it was delivered to the store. I had the worse customer service from an employee in the front desk whom I did not catch her name. Thankfully the store manager, Edith, was a life saver. She looked for my missing items, until she decided to go with option B was to obtain some similar items and she would offer a discount to compensate for the mess. She went above and beyond to make sure I was heard. Not only did she contact me personally to let me know that she had pulled some items on reserve for me to look at, but she also assisted me to get some other clothing items. She was able to give such feedback on some pieces. BEST customer services that wants a clients to walk out the door and see them return. Will definitely come back to get assisted by her. Still taking one star away because of this other employee who did not want to help one bit, and told me to come back until they called me that my order was ready which would be in 2 weeks although I had already received the email where it said my items were ready for pickup.

If Im not ignored I receive nothing but unprofessional customer service! It happens once and I blame it on how potentially low staffed they are, but one visit after another, I have the same disappointed not to mention their lousy return policy, be sure to keep and frame your receipt, youll need it!

Very poor customer service. The clerk who” helped“Me let me on a wild goose chase for five minutes until she ran into another employee who took me directly to the item. When I got to the register I was ignored for so long I finally walked out!

Worth at least 4 stars, but the checkout didn’t ask me to sign up for a rewards account and instead used someone else’s!? If you need points that bad… I dunno. I didn’t mind it at the time but now that Google is asking me to rank you I figured folks should know what you’re up to.

Love this store

This place has really nice stuff they even carry a few plus size items but it’s annoying when every two minutes you turn around to another associate asking you if they can help you. It makes me feel like they don’t trust you and even if that’s not the case it’s just flat out obnoxious, give me a little space to shop for the most part I know how to do that by myself and if I need to ask a question it’s nice to have the associates available, but it’s overwhelming how many people asked me if they could help me in 15 minutes I was inside the store.

No help what so ever it was not busy at all. When I asked for a fitting run I asked (big dude) to open a fitting room and he said “I’m on lunch” which in my eyes is very disrespectful, he could’ve taken 10 sec out of his 30 min to get some one to help.

Boots are important around here, expect to pay at least $100..

This place is great, the only nice pair of boots I ever owned came from this store. I wore them everyday and had no regard to the beating I gave them and they never gave in. Beautiful. Then one day I did a bunch of yard work and lost them after taking them off and leaving them outside ... i went back and decided to look into cowboy boots instead of work boots and found a great pair but I couldnt afford them right away, well good thing... they do layaway. The employees were mostly great. The products were all top notch. There was a lot of China made but I guess it wasnt as bad as some other stores that are exclusively China made.

Always asks you if you need help. Nice crew but weird that they hover- i think the one who rings up the sale gets the commission so they cling nearby waiting for you to be done. Feel like they think i am stealing boots they way they stay so close. But at least they are nice about it.

It was a horrible experience shopping at this called store “boot barn in salinas Ca”. There was this helpful employee ( lupita) working there trying to help me with some boots i was going to buy. Then this Female that look like she was under the influence said that i had a mess, which that mess was already there, and she kept passing by interrupting lupita. Then this disrespectful individual “manager”kept interrupting her as well and send her to the front, where there was no customers to help. I was flabbergasted that he would do something like that. I exit the store and lupita apologized. This is the first and last time i go shopping to this store.

Drove from Santa Cruz with my girlfriend to get her a new pair of boots and pants. We got there and not a single person was on the floor. Only 2 people sitting behind the registers, that looked like they had no idea what they were doing. I asked if we could get into the fitting room and they replied “yeah sure”. Fast forward 20 minutes and still no help at all. We finally looked at each other and decided to walk out. Was very disappointed in the service I got because it was the first time my girlfriend had been to Boot Barn and I was expecting friendly, good customer service like at the location in my hometown of Clovis. Will not be going to the Salinas location ever again.

Great selection

I purchased a pair of boots at this store, I tried one on and it fit. I was told it was final sale and I was ok with it. When I get home and put them on, they were two different sizes. When I when back to store the manager refused to help me. Not only that, she got really aggressive and made awful racial comments I would not recommend anyone to go here .

Drove specially from Monterey to Salinas Boot Barn to purchase some boots but when we got there we were left to our own devices, not one staff member came to see if we needed assistance so we left. This was first up in the morning and there were not other customers in the store when we arrived and as we were leaving there was another customer wondering around trying to find a staff member to help him. Quite a difference to the reception and assistance we got from Boot Barn in Lafayette Colorado.
