Super friendly staff. Went in to get soccer cleats for my little girl. Good selection, great prices. Manager and other staff were really working the floor and being very helpful, honestly dont see much these days.

As a member of the community, I feel that we should shop more often at this place, due to the fact that people steal from this place alot. I often see packages open and missing part of the items. I would hate to see another business close! The prices for shoes 👞 👟 are very reasonable. I try to buy 5 to 7 pairs of shoes when I go visit my family in Mexico.

They had a little bit of everything u need for any outdoor activities. From beach fun accessories to camping equipment. They are also there for your sport need baseball, basketball, soccer, something for all sports down running and hiking shoes. you can be in and out in minutes.

Although the scare from politicians concerning gun control, the big five store in Salinas California has managed to maintain not all their sports equipment but a reasonable amount.America go visit Big 5 sporting goods.

I went in looking for a self-inflating air mattress and found a couple of choices in addition to many options for foam mats to sleep on. Got exactly what I wanted! Although not everything had a price tag on it. I had to ask at the desk to compare prices, since some were not labeled.

Big 5 has everything sports, of course and I go there often.

Wanted shoes, nothing in 11 W. Fit. Staff did seem to take time to look in stock. Also needed hiking shoes 50 laces. They had only 60 & 70.

Many, many years ago when I went into Big 5 the store was a jumbled mess. I am happy to say that today it is a well merchandised and well stocked store. Good Work!

Some was looking for Coleman stove double burner propane cylinders and theres no Coleman double burner stoves and there is no proper propane canisters at the store they have the cheap flimsy two burner off brand name then they have the huge steel and cast iron over 20,000 BTU that is meant for large events on the staff do you not have any control over what corporate sends them and the items were not even available on the website anymore this is pretty sad and its pathetic

One thing I love about big 5 is that occasionally they put some really good items on clearance if it doesnt sell well. In addition, this is where I go for any workout clothes. This particular location needs a remodel though. The mall is taking on a new identity. Surrounding businesses should mirror the progress.

I like Big 5, only one thing. You have to find your own stuff in a pile of stuff. But they pretty much have everything sports related.

Its a great place to shop at for swimming and bikes and things that you need to use for your knees your elbow and your waist I really enjoyed going to Big 5

This is the first time I have been in the store. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We went for shoes and didnt see what we wanted and the staff went to the back and found some. My grandson was estatic he found what he wanted. Will definitely go back.

Im not into sports, nor do I work out vigorously, but when I was younger, I use to go to Big 5 often to buy rollerblades or wheels for them; I broke my ankle rollerblading & that was the end of it. I still stop by every once in a while for good work shoes, socks, or sweat pants. Wandering is always a spectacle; always something interesting to browse through, in a good way.

Decent sporting goods store. Sometimes hard to find a clerk but always helpful once you do. Good sales just about weekly.

Went with my boyfriend to look at the airsoft guns. Young lady that helped us was very kind and helpful!

This sporting goods store has a lot to offer, good selection of products and good pricing. But my biggest smile came at the register. There was a sign giving Veterans 10% discount every day as a thanks for your service. Boo-Ya!

Terrible customer service!!!! Waiting in line to by my son a pair of shoes, I noticed he needed to use the restroom and faster than I can ask if he can use it at the store and the woman behind the counter SAYS NO then leaves the counter!! Worse part is I used the restroom there before when I was younger ....makes me not want to ever go back!!!!

Its always an average time here, you walk in dont expect the works when it comes to customer service, but they are well stocked on sporting goods. I came in and asked if they had a specific type of boxing glove, was told no they dont sell those there than not 20secs later i found them. They deserve 3 star because of the average customer service but since they always have what i need they get an extra star.

Initial thought walking in was that it is very cluttered and products were just shoved onto shelves. I dont think there are enough people to work the register, help customers and organize the store. The one person that helped me (I think one of the managers) was very helpful and quick.

I never write reviews, BUT this is the exception! My experience was just horrible! Not based on the products they sell but because of the customer service. I went and wanted to exchange some shoes, the cashier was just rude and so was the manager. He said someone was going to help me and i stood there for about 5 minutes and then he said that i had to take my receipt to the shoe section and someone would help me. So I walked over and found NO ONE there to help me. I waited for a while and after getting very annoyed I walked over to the register and saw all the people just hanging around the register! So I asked if anyone would help me, which took another 5 minutes of waiting! There were more people there and they werent being helped either! A lady asked if they had any pink football socks and the cashier and manager said they were all out! With out even checking! After i was all set to leave the girl at the register scanned my item and then rudely threw the scanner down on the counter. I was really annoyed with the service here! I really havent gotten this bad of a service anywhere else!! I will not be going back to say the least! They should really consider giving some customer service classes to their staff!
