This is a great place to get crafting supplies for just about everything. I found beads and wire for making Salmon hoochies, feathers and thread for fly tying. The thread was ordinary sewing thread but it works and I catch fish on the flies. They dont have electronics for model cars, airplanes or boats but they do have tons of other stuff. This is a great place to get seasonal decorations. Try it, youll like it.

Place was nice and was able to get the help I needed. The lines were pretty long tho on the weekend I went in there. They need to get their clerks some scanners to scan items. They had to manually type in skus and ladies were buying dozens of items at a time. It was worst than being stuck in traffic.

I dont know what details you could be looking for in a comment that you wouldnt look up on Google search for a craft store so Ill share some general observations Ive made at this store. 1) it has had basically everything I needed for every project Ive come here for. 2) 1 star was deducted for having Christmas decorations out in September. Another star was deducted for its lack of specialization. They have a lot of general stuff but not the specific tools or materials sometimes required that specialty shops would have. 3) not necessarily to the fault of the store there has always been some sort of a spill on the floor every time I go.

Tucked away on the far side of the Salinas mall - no signs. But its there. And with excellent staff. Always very helpful.

I spent quite some time looking just for the right items. I ended up spending over $70, and I paid with a $100 bill. The cashier didnt have change so she asked who I think was her supervisor for change. She looked annoyed,I didnt understand why. Then here it comes.....she turns around to tell me......next time make sure you have exact change, or smaller bills because the bank is no longer giving us change. I did have some words for her. But if you dont want us customers paying with $100 bills,then put up signs telling us that like every other business who dont except large bills!!!!!!!

The checkout lines are really slow. But selection is always fun and I found exactly what I was looking for and it was on sale!

This place is fun and inspiring to walk around in.The store is very clean,organized, and the staff is very accommodating.Of course the items I purchased are above reproach especially to give as gifts.The location of the store is perfect right of the 101 in the Northridge Shopping Mall.

Nice place if youre into hobbies and home decor, only problem is I wish they could bring more variety on plastic models especially planes and armor, its always pretty much the same, supplies for models are pretty thin too, especially paints, sure you wont get rich selling models but a bit more variety and paints can help a little or even get kids or teens more interested, its not a complain, its an observation.

Its a good place to go if need anything like arts and craft stuff.

My first time at Hobby Lobby in Salinas and the store was great!! So much inventory and alot of clearance items! I was looking for wooden dowels and found them easily, so thats a plus! Great selection of fabric also!! Will be coming back!

Easy to find things, spacious and well stocked. However, one sales associate worked while chatting on her phone. She described in detail cuss words included, about being ready to go home because she was sick of people. A customer took 8 items to the checkout and had each item priced checked and compared, before deciding to purchase. Lines backed into aisles before more cashiers were called. It could have been such a great experience, except, well it wasnt.

This place is by FAR the best hobby store ive been to in my area. It is a bit pricey, but its quality items. I spent an easy $250.00 here today but was totally worth it in my opinion. It has something for everyone. Knick knacks for everything you can imagine. Highly recommend this place.

Manager very rude since when online prices and different then in store

I love shopping at hobby lobby. But some other employees, managers and supervisors are very rude and then I know how to treat other people. They do everything manually at the register and that’s what sucks to it’s a lot of time consuming by them doing this!

Very clean and employies very friendly

Employees less than helpful. Checkout service was semi rude, manager could be heard complaining about us having our dogs with us in the store, who are well trained Frenchies(training with a Police K-9 Officer Trainer), and how he didnt like dogs in the store at all. Three of us had purchases, none of us felt like the employees on the floor were exceptionally helpful, some said they didnt know about certain locations or go look for someone in that department to help us. So guess we will return to Joannes for service next time.

Pretty cool place with lots to look at and discounts all over the place but they do have some rude employees (shout-out to Demeriee V for being one of them) that make the check-out experience feel like youre shopping at Walmart.

Place is packed full of stuff. especially artifical flowers and home decoration they also have art and craft materials but majority is home decor

Excellent experience I just went in and pick up some things I needed and a few extras.

Went to this location to check out what they have for doll houses. staff made me feel uncomfortable. followed me around as if I was a potential thief instead of asking if I needed help finding anything.

This store is such a nice change of pace. Michaels was really the only option we had prior to and they truly have the worst customer service here at the salinas store! I found Hobby Lobby doesnt have as much baking options but they have small pieces of really cute furniture and other things you cant find elsewhere. Plus great customer service!

My first time there I spent way too much money

Found what I needed (I was desperate to finish a project), but I cringed when I walked in. I have never shopped here in the past, and will plan better, or do without, in the future! Right wing politics, Right-to-Lifers, gay bashing, and they treat their employees so badly. The staff seemed so dispirited. I am ashamed that I did spend the few dollars I spent. Feel like inlet down the side. Never again!

In case you have never been to a Hobby Lobby, this place is a combnation Michaels, Joanns, and small furniture store. It has lots to look at and you can easily spend a couple hours browsing. the store was clean and had friendly staff.

This store was really busy but clean the workers were pleasant and helpful. As always, Hobby Lobby was a pleasure to visit.
