Store was well stocked with great prices, adequate parking, and friendly service. Quality of the merchandise is good, value is better than the competitors in most cases. This is the closest location for me to get to, so a 1 hour round trip drive needs to be worth it.

If youre a person who doesnt care if the Milwaukee or DeWalt names are on your tools, then this is the tool store for you!! I have bought several different hand tools, and power tools from Harbor Freight, seldomly having an issue with the tool. If there is an issue, they are pretty accommodating.

Good place if you need a cheap tool fast. The tools here are pretty good but theyre not the greatest. I will say that they have tiers of quality tools but for most do it yourselfers the basic stuff is fine. If you find you need a specific tool more often, its probably best to invest. Their coupons and deals are also a good way to save money.

I love harbor freight the store in Salinas had a variety of things but not everything online is there. I had good experience. Was out the door with what I needed and a few more things. I needed a muffler for my generator and thats only online I guess. Overall experience was good.

After having a bad experience with the Harbor Freight store in Watsonville, I was pleasantly surprised at the customer service level and cashiers knowledge at the Salinas store. Ill be doing all my business there in the future. This is a great store!

Love this place, the customer service was excellent, no complaint about the shopping choices, lots of deals, lots of household stuff... its not all hardware. They had exactly what I was looking for. A very long tool to go inside a lamp base from the bottom up to the light fixture. I needed something to hold onto the nut while I tightened the top part. They had a couple of choices at varying price ranges. This solar lighted address marker was pretty cool.

Employees are amazing helpful and kind plus when you walk in first things you hear is welcome to harbor freight with a smile. Just that will turn a bad day into a better one. When you ask for help they stop what they are doing to help you with your needs. I have been using their tools for almost 4 years and when I need to change them (when under warranty), I love this place. You just get a new one they scan it and have a good day Sir and thank you for shopping at harbor Freight. NO receipt no problem as long as its their tools you are good to go. Oh tools work just as good as name brand. Im a welder and have used their tools all the time.

If Im looking for quality and longevity this is not where I go first.Im usually just getting something I only expect to be short lived and to get me by in a pinch. but they have seemed to up their game a bit on a few items. The new line of generators, welders, and power tools are much better quality. The $60 dollar range Bauer drill/driver with $19 lithium replacement batteries is an excellent deal and has held up well against other popular brands I have.Most items dont last long but they are getting better.What makes this store 5 stars for me is the customer service. The cashier lady is always friendly, helpful and always makes sure to greet every customer.Then you have Steven. Im not sure what Stevens job title is but that guy is on it!He has a great attitude!And in between helping every customer on the floor he is constantly checking back to make sure you are finding what you need.Just my opinion but corporate would do well to give that guy his own store to manage, if he isnt already the store manager.

Had had a problem with a 3 ton floor jack that i had ordered from Harbor Freight. I contacted HF about the problem, and to their credit, Harbor Freight replaced with no questions asked as I had the receipt. Remember to keep those receipts!

Great store but a guy stole some tools while we were there

Went into HFT to get some gloves to do some yard work. I was greeted at the door. Then I was assisted in the area I had gone to get a box of gloves. Again I was greeted by a worker thanks Steven for the help and the great attitude you displayed towards me while in the store. Harbor Freight Tools job well done in customer service!

Well its harbor freight...ita like a hate love relationship, you know its mostly disposable stuff made in china, but what isnt made in china now, so just know you get what you pay for which in somw cases its actually okay, some well its doo doo. Oh and once you get HF tools in your garage forget about it, its like their stuff just invades your snap on or craftsman collections..lol

Look, im going to keep it real. The reason why i give this harbor freight 5 stars is because the customer service is fantastic. There prices are excellent. And they always have everything in stock. Now to the keeping it real part. There tools absolutely suck. All there products and brands are not for lobg time use. Now if your a first time do it your selfer, then by all means this store will have you doing big things. But if your in the trades journey man and above, then going to work with anything from this store will get you fired. Im just saying. I can only be honest. These products are for temporary type situations. You want long lasting lifetime warranty type stuff, pay more and get it at home depot.
