Such a nice selection of so many things! There is something for the whole family with some very nice craft things as well. We loved how big it was, but very easy to navigate.

What a charming consignment shop! My wife and I have been to a LOT of these kinds of stores over the years and quite honestly you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one. It seemed to me that there was a wide variety of quality merchandise of all types. The vendors werent packed in like sardines and there wasnt an overload of merchandise that would be better suited in a Salvation Army Thrift Store. Again, we were really impressed and will no doubt be returning soon!P.S. I dont want to forget to mention that the historic building is quite impressive too, particularly if you are enchanted by the smell of old wood!

The owners are super nice and the Emporium has a lot of great gift items for my friends and family! Plus, the Cherriwine cake I bought earlier was delicious 😄

My wife and I had a great experience at the Salisbury Emporium. The shop owners Mickey and Betty were a pleasure to deal with. It is a multi vendor shop, but everything is very well placed and organized. Each vendors booth was done in his or hers own style. The craftsmanship of the building is worth going to see. My wife and I will absolutely be coming back to do some more shopping.

The place was pretty warm. Everything is way over priced. We were trying to look at some silver and get a good estimate on how much an item was worth and the older man working there was super rude to us about trying to figure out pricing. Never going to be coming back here again but there are definitely better shops around! Check them out instead!

Interesting items here and lots of square footage but as soon as I was interested in the weight of some silver items, I was answered with “Are you serious? If you want to impress someone about silver you should have an idea or what you’re looking at.” Very rude people who don’t seem to want to be bothered with helping customers. Take your money elsewhere and avoid this place!

I know this place is a consignment shop, but its like a flea market on steroids! You can find some really unique antiques and some beautiful art pieces. From Full sized dressers and beds to tiny knives and toys. The Salisbury Emporium has some amazing finds!

Found several treasures at the Salisbury Emporium over the years.. there are 2 levels of booths, each with unique items.. something for everyone! The store is very clean and the owners are sweet as can be. Excellent customer service - very happy with my purchases and always look forward to my visits to find unique gifts or items for my own collection.

A must go see. Im positive if I had more income I would have purchased more. A little something for everyone.

A wonderful two story antique shop with so much STUFF! There was so many items for sale, it took two hours for us to go around the store. Definitely not the place to go if youre in a hurry, but when you have time, it is worth it. The staff is friendly, and even looked for us from time to time to see if they could take something to the counter while we continue shopping. They have everything from LPs to antique decor to civil war memorabilia to furniture from the last couple centuries.

This is a multi-vendor location for homemade items, antiques, crafted jewelry, and unique one of a kind items. There is one location to check out purchases, but each vendor has a small location to display their wares. The downside of Salisbury Emporium is the lack of staff and people to answer questions. Tags fall off items and then its hard to find prices since they are marked by hand and not always well displayed.

Plenty to look at and browse, though the prices are generally obscenely high, so I treat it like a museum and just look. I wouldnt make a special trip to Salisbury for it.I question the validity of the reviews about how allegedly sweet the owners are. They seem a bit contrived and over the top. I was treated rudely by an old woman when I came in carrying my small dog. Her general manner was abrasive, bothered, and peevish. After reassuring her I had no intention of putting my dog on her precious floor, she begrudgingly consented to do me the undeserved favor of letting me look. Clearly, in her mind, its okay to leave a dog in a hot car in a fringe area of town.Unless it was something I absolutely couldnt imagine living without another moment, I wouldnt spend any money here. The inflated prices are largely oriented towards soy latte swilling yuppies and pampered Lake Norman and Badin Lake housewives.

Everything is too pricey. Good place to walk and look to kill time.

Old lady was rude to us, nagging us and following us around like we were criminals all the way out the door. The place was hot and we had a paper fan that we were using as we shopped that we did not even know was for sale for $2! I will never shop here again. When door did not shut I made an effort to shut it and she told me we cant run a.c. outside too!!! Did not spend a dime here, we went to another shop down the road and loved it.
