Outstanding experience with Shore Appliance!While we were looking for a new slide-in stove and asking questions, Ryan was answering my wifes emails at 7:30 in the morning. A visit to the main store in Salisbury was an eyeopener and a real treat. The store is actually a combined Design Center and Appliance store. Its huge and the appliances are displayed in custom designed settings.We were told our particular stove was back-ordered and would arrive in ten days. It was delivered to the store on schedule and installed in our Lewes home three days later.The Installers were very professional - careful not to mar or damage surrounds. The stove was unpacked from the factory carton in our driveway and all the tape, paper, foam, etc, was discarded before bringing the stove in the house.We could not be happier with Shore!

We were looking for an Electric stove in and oven. From the moment we walked in, Chad was there to help us with looking at models and explaining features. He did so in a concise orderly fashion and very professional. We found what we were looking for a Frigidaire, Stove top with convection and self cleaning. Filled out the paperwork and in and out in about 20 minutes. Before leaving he let us know that it would be two days to delivery. Wow!! Doesn’t get much better Send that. Needed a new refrigerator since mine went up. Employees were very helpful in helping me find what u needed. I liked them so much I came back to them to buy an air conditioner a few days later. Both appliances well worth my time and money!

We have a rental in Ocean City. The refrigerator stopped working and we needed a quick replacement. As you will find out, many refrigerators are on back order at the big box stores.We called Shore Appliance. Mike Kromer immediately checked the inventory and the truck schedule. We had a new refrigerator installed the next day. Nothing like great service from a local small business.We could not be happier with our experience at Shore Appliances.

It was tough finding a refrigerator during Covid. I appreciated the flexibility and effort from the folks at Shore. Although it took 3 months to get the right refrigerator, it was the supply chain not Shore. I will definitely use them again.

I was doing a major renovation of a rental home I owned and was moving into permanently. Shore Appliance Connection was recommended by the contractor I was using. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of appliances the breadth of knowledge the sales staff had about what they sold. They were friendly and super attentive. Finally the appliances were delivered and installed when my contractor needed them and they look great in my new kitchen and laundry area.Update: I went back to this store to buy a mattress and they experience was great. Bill was extremely helpful and we walked in on a nice sale. Right now, I couldnt be happier with both the mattress and the service from Shore Appliance Connection.

Great service no pressure and quick

This was my first time dealing with Shore Appliance and it went very well. They were friendly - no high pressure-type sales pitches. They were very knowledgeable about their products (in my case, gas grills). I know I spent a fair amount of money for a quality product and I felt good about the whole transaction - from start to finish.

Shore Appliance was fantastic throughout my entire experience with them in purchasing a new refrigerator! Ryan Larmore, our Sales Advisor, helped us through the process by first coming over to see our kitchen and talk about our options. He priced out various sizes and models for us in an email quote and then when we finally decided on the model to purchase, he organized the order and delivery in an insanely quick amount of time. Excellence service. Bought a fridge Monday and it was delivery Tuesday. I originally bought a fridge from Lowes and waited a week just for them to miss their delivery date twice. Lowes then told me it would be another week and a half to get the fridge (2.5 weeks total). Got a refund from Lowes and went straight to Shore Appliance. This was a good reminder to SHOP LOCAL. They provided a way better customer service and purchasing experience than the big box retailers, all at the same price, with faster delivery. Michael was knowledgeable and helpful.

Got to my beach home and refrigerator had stopped cooling. Freezer working fine. Did some google research said it probably the board. Bought a board and installed no luck. Started looking for a new refrigerator. All the big boys Lowes, Home Depot etc. Could not deliver for weeks to a month. Called Shore Appliance they could deliver the next day. They delivered the next day as promised.

Called at the beginning of the week and Shore Appliance was able to get someone out to look at my washing machine on Friday which fit my schedule. Zack was very professional and knowledgable. Very happy with my service and the fact they now have a location in Ocean View.Keep up the good work!

Great prompt service and delivery. We knew the model we wanted and called in our order. Bill took our order on Saturday and promised delivery on Tuesday with a phone call late Monday to confirm delivery window. Went exactly as promised and Lyle and his assistant were right on time and were very courteous. The price was competitive with Home Depot and with quicker delivery schedule. Well be buying our next appliance from Shore!

We have ordered all of our appliances from Shore Appliances over the last 18 years. In the past year and half we had to buy a new fridge, new washer and dryer. I highly recommend them. Great customer service

This is the absolute worst appliance store to deal with in the area. I purchased a GE washer and dryer from this company. I had an incompetent salesperson. The dryer was faulty the same day it was delivered. They sent their technician out three times and deemed it not repairable before they replaced it. At delivery, their employee recognized it was not functioning properly and said he was reporting it to the company. After a week of no contact from them, I called again yesterday and they are saying their delivery/installation person did not note any problems with the dryer. My mistake for not refusing delivery.My response to the owner : You cannot find any issues with the original dryer? You sent a service technician to my home 3 times and deemed it non repairable. You have not sent a service technician to my home to observe the 2nd dryer since your delivery and installation person identified a problem with that machine. Thank you for helping me identify who in your company is stating inaccuracies.

My refrigerator in my third floor condo went out on me. I tried the local big name stores but they had no white refrigerators in stock. Was told at least a week due to the 4th of July rush. I called Ryan at Shore Appliance and he not only had one in stock (at a great price) but he offered to get it on the truck that day. Definitely would recommend them.

We made the mistake of trying to purchase a washer and dryer through Home Depot which was a disaster! We then went to Shore Appliance and got better appliances for almost the same price. No hassle on delivery and were so pleased with the gentleman who did the install.Now we are remodeling our kitchen and went right back to Mike Kromer our salesman for our kitchen package. After we picked out our package I really shopped price and couldn’t find a cheaper price anywhere. Mike was constantly in touch with me about everything from beginning to end and I was so pleased to see the same gentlemen come with these appliances in a Shore Appliance truck again instead of a rental truck that looked like it was on its last leg.This is a great company with good employees and I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again in the future and recommend them. Great team and detailed service - bought a great range at an unbelievable price, but the installers from that service were not equipped to do the install of a downdraft range. Shore was able to get us installed professionally and quickly. Came to the house prior to the service, which I had requested from the other company. Were able to get things properly set up with their input, and the gentleman and his colleagues who came to the house were on time, and took care in the work. Thank you for the attention to detail!

The company was very easy to work with. My icemaker in fridge broke and they got the right parts an fixed it in good time.. No fuss nos muss.

My experience was very good overall. Shore performed the repair the way I wanted it done and worked with me to schedule the work to my convenience. Office staff was courteous and paid attention to my concerns. The field tech was pleasant, neat and tidy. And my dishwasher works!

Re: We have a property mgt co. Our customer needs Sub-Zero wine cooler service. Had another service company tell me it needs new compressor and possibly an evaporator but that co doesnt work on Sub Zero. Per Sub -Zero, the parts are still under warranty. Sub-Zero gave me a couple service companies in this area. Just called Shore App for a worst-case scenario estimate so owner could decide whether to proceed with repair or to purchase a new wine cooler. The office person would not even consider this request. Insisted they must come out @ $129.95 to give this estimate. I understand they would have to cone out for an actual estimate. I just wanted a very rough, high end estimate, so as not to waste the service call fee, if owner goes for a new one. The location of service is an hour from Shore Appliance. The office staff member was not very nice and nearly hung up on me. Needless to say, if the owner opts to purchase a new unit, I will steer him away from Shore Appliance.

We recently bought a washer and dryer pair from Shore Appliance. We are very satisfied with our experience. Bill Wheatley was helpful and forthright in answering our questions. Delivery and installation went well, with no nicks or other damage to the appliances. The company also offers an extended warranty with terms that are superior to those offered by the manufacturer (Maytag).

When the dryer told us (error code) it was sick I called the brands hot line. They said they were pretty sure of what I needed and offered to order it and sen it for my installation. I said no and called Shore Appliances.The first tech came and did a lot of work I couldnt do and announced the needed part. The office ordered it, and a few days later sent out another tech to install the part.The job was completed efficiently with skills, expertise and experience I do not possess. Were totally satisfied

Dealt with Ryan. Had an EXCELLENT experience and learned quite a bit about dishwashers in the process. They are my go to for appliances because they are small business, locally owned and they WILL PRICE MATCH for you!! Ive purchased washers (Speed Queen... the ONLY WAY TO GO!!!) and dryers (same... Speed Queen!), dishwasher and next will be fridge, gas stove, etc., etc. Great people WHO WANT TO HELP!!!!

Shore is easily the best company Ive ever dealt with. We just remodeled our kitchen and purchased Monogram refrigerator, cooktop, dishwasher, and ovens. Price was competitive, and installation was wonderful. Issues arose with refrigerator -- not Shores fault -- and they worked with GE to get a replacement. Owner even got involved and communicated with me directly. Overall, the installation was complex because of the kitchen design and construction -- yet Shore was patient and worked extremely well with contractor. The installers were excellent (especially Joe!) and professional -- true craftsman and perfectionists. The ongoing support and communication have been beyond outstanding, and we continue to be grateful that we were lucky enough to make our purchase from Shore.

I recently had the need to puchase an Over the Range Microwave. I checked the Big BoxStores in the Salisbury Area regarding pricing & installation to find them fairly competitive, I then decided to check their local competition.I found that Shore Appliances had the best deal both for product & installation. My salesperson, Bill was right there from the get go & stayed on top up to delivery & installation. When it came time for the delivery & installation we had the pleasure to meet with Dean. The sales staff was tremendously helpful in picking the right appliances for our needs. The Service Technicians were professional and did a great job in installing our stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator.

We had a problem with our natural gas cooktop that Shore Appliance quickly diagnosed and fixed. Fast and friendly service! We recommend them if you need appliance repairs. Also, their appliance sales are competitively priced and they back their extended warranties with their own technicians unlike the big box stores.

The sales staff was extremely professional and courteous. The item, which we were shopping for, was in stock and delivery was made promptly the next afternoon. The delivery gentleman was also very courteous and took great care in delivery and placing the item within my home.

We just bought an awesome new Bosch Dishwasher from Shore Appliances. You cannot hear it running when you are standing next to it! The salesman Chad directed me to just what I needed to replace the 12 year old one that was giving us some trouble. The price was very competitive and they were able to get our delivery scheduled way faster than I expected. The technician was great! He installed it and then took the time to train us and answer our all our questions. He then left our kitchen clean and neat as he found it. Ill be shopping there again!

I truly regret the review I wrote 4 weeks ago. I wish I could retract my previous uncomplimentary review but apparently that cannot be done here. With that said, let me categorically state that Shore Appliance Connection has addressed all of our concerns in a professional, courteous, and satisfactory manner. They went above and beyond what I expected. The merchandise was delivered on time and the 2 deliverymen were careful, competent, and explained how the appliances work. The salesman, Chad, was a pleasure to deal with and took his time in dealing with us in the showroom. Lastly, Gary (the owner of Shore Appliance Connection,) made sure that we were satisfied with our purchase and our dealings with his store. It was an outright pleasure dealing with Shore Appliance Connection and we will certainly patronize their fine establishment in the future. Once again, I apologize for my previous review and recommend without hesitation this fine appliance store.

I went to Shore Appliance after Sears confirmed a delivery date and time for a new fridge, then, 40 minutes later, delayed it by 10 days. Their excuse: they couldnt control when the manufacturer would get it to them. They also wouldnt hook it up. Shore Appliance had it to me by the end of the week and I did it all over the phone. Haul away of the old fridge and hook up was included for a very reasonable price. Will definitely use them again.

Where do I begin? Great products, quick and results-oriented service on products that they sell and ones they do not. I have been using them for 30 years even when I lived in Lewes and came within 24 hours to check the thermostat in my oven all the way from Salisbury. Now that I live in a new home in Rehoboth Beach, they are my go to once again!

The experience was out of this world, watching the delivery people work was like watching a well choreograph broadway show. These two gentlemen each had their own areas of responsibility, with one inside taking the old refrigerator apart while the gentleman outside put the new refrigerator together. They took their time and did a thorough job. Extremely professional and would highly recommend Shore Appliance Connection.

They are supposed to fix our dryer. I was told by Rhonda that she would call me the day before and give me a time they would be over. Since 3 out of the 4 of us work two jobs I really needed to know what time they would be here. Instead she refused to give a time twice and now we still have no dryer and have to wait an extra week to get it fixed

Shore Appliance saved our vacation!We showed up at our beach condo and the fridge was dead. All the food ruined, and our entire family showing up in 2 days.I went to Shore Appliance 8 am Monday morning, and I had a new fridge in the house by the end of the day. And to top that, they knew my situation, so they took my fridge and plugged it in all day, so that when they put it on the truck to deliver it, it was already cold.I can not recommend them any more highly. We are on our third set of washer and dryer in five years from Shore Appliance Connection. However, the third set is a Sears Kenmore Elite - not from Shore Appliance Connection.Over the last five years, we have spent in excess of $6,000 on equipment and repairs purchased at Shore Appliance Connection, recommended by them. To our disappointment, not only did the washer/dryer sets not work properly from the very first day (washers leaked water/dryers didnt dry clothes), the service process took way to long, and the parts on order were backordered for over 5 weeks every time (we had to request many service calls each requiring two visits since they do not keep parts in stock).This week, when calling for service, we were told we would not even be put on the schedule until we paid an upfront diagnostic fee of over $150.00. We decided, since Shore Appliance Connection could not effectively diagnose and repair our first and second set of washers and dryers, it would not be in our best interest to pay them a fee to try again. When we asked why would we have to pay an upfront diagnostic charge for our repairs, the owner responded that he has had to write-off $80,000 in current customer receipts from customers who refused to pay them for services rendered. Hmmmmm. Maybe this should tell you something. We are not going back after throwing $6,000 in the dumpster.Good Luck, Shore Appliance. We wont be recommending you to anyone.

I have a passion about shopping at local small businesses. My refrigerator went kaput last Tues evening. I could have gone to Best Buy, Sears or any other big box retailer that evening but deceided to bring my full contents of freezer and refrigerator to our daughter s instead. Next morning went to Shore Appliance and ordered a new refrigerator and dishwasher. Same day delivery was booked already so no problem I waited for a Thursday delivery. 2 very courteous young men delivered my refrigerator and stated it would not fit. I was not home but my husband told them Not to worry, my son in law will deal with it. Long story short, it just had to be leveled. Also, there was no Water Filter in the refrigerator. I surmised I received the Floor Model. I was not told I would be buying the floor model. They did fess up when I called and asked them about it. I would hope that maybe they could reach out to me and waive the $50 delivery fee. I am having my dishwasher installed on Monday Dec. 12, 2016. Lets wait and see. Customer Beware should be the motto of this store because Bait and Switch is the apparent policy. Before leaving the store make sure that the model numbers listed on your newly signed contract correspond EXACTLY to the model numbers of the appliances you saw. Even better, bring a tape recorder and camera to record the entire transaction and the appliances you are shown.
