Love this local bookstore! The owner is so nice and so knowledgeable about the books and helping customers find what they’re looking for! They have a good selection of books from any genre you can think of! The building is also very cool with a fun kids section, featuring a dragon, a pretty staircase, and chairs s scattered around.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The owner is SO helpful. She helped me find one of my favorite books. They have a large selection of books. The atmosphere is perfect and has the perfect book store feel to it. This place is a staple of Salisbury.

Nice store. Probably a third of the store is devoted to works for children. Understandable organization. Lots of fiction, classics and new releases. Worthy amount of nonfiction. Great to be in a brick and mortar store!

The store is nice and the staff is always helpful if you have questions but unobtrusive if you just want to browse. Its cozy and you dont feel rushed to make selections and leave. The cons are that of course the selection is less and cost is higher than a big box store book store, and there is nowhere comfy to sit and read a few pages. But the biggest con and the reason for my 3 stars is the hours. I would always support a small business first if they were open. Its hard to patronize a store when they close at 3pm every day. I have had to bypass giving them my business and go elsewhere multiple times because they dont have afternoon hours.

I LOVE this bookstore. It feels so cozy & vintage. Wide variety of books to choose from! If you can’t find what you’re looking for, the nice lady there can order it for you. Great selection of children’s books also!

I have been a patron of this book store since it’s first version in the early 2000s. This store has weathered many storms and now it had its best owner yet! Alissa is very knowledgeable about new releases and always has great suggestions for my young children to read. She is also willing to order any book if it is not in the store. Stores like these are an anchor of our downtown and I would recommend this place over and over again!

Alissa and her bookstore are a true gem in downtown Salisbury. She immediately embraced this community after buying the store, and works to provide amazing books for free through little free libraries all over town. The store itself is thoroughly stocked with books to suit all interests and ages, and Alissa is super helpful with recommendations. Def worth checking out!

I was disappointed when they did not have Cicerly Tyson, Autobiography available, they did not even order any copies. I also did not like the fact that this is February, Black History Month, they did not have at least a small section honoring Black History Month. There books are not in any order they are just shelved unorganized.

Great selection of books. My favorite ? The poetry and philosophy books upstairs accompanied by comfy furniture and lots of natural light !

Travelers, this is an excellent book store in downtown Salisbury. They have an incredible selection of topics and books to browse and buy. We found service to be excellent, knowledgeable and familiar with all the books and authors we were interested in finding in this store. We bought wonderful books we cant wait to read. I called them wanting to know a little about there business. The owner was very rude and hanged up the phone on me. I called back and asked her why, she said shes a rude person. She doesnt care about people or her business. Avoid it like grim death.

Weve been here quite a few times in the last year and will continue to come back. The staff/owners have always been helpful and friendly when were looking for a book for my daughters required school reading.
