Downtown Bridal was the first bridal salon I shopped in, and it was such a lovely experience that set the bar for the rest of my dress shopping. The store itself is gorgeous with such a variety of designers and styles. Felicia was my consultant and she rocked it. Since it was my first appointment, she let me pick some styles I was curious about and made suggestions that she thought would fit what I described to her. Overall, my favorites from the day were the dresses she suggested. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase and was encouraged to take my time in selecting a dress, which is not the case everywhere.

Natalie was absolutely amazing to work with! She made me feel so comfortable when trying on dresses. She made sure to find dresses similar to the one I had in mind but also picked ones that I never would have even thought to try on and they looked amazing! And today we finally picked the perfect wedding dress. I am so thankful for Natalie and her help!

Susana was the absolute best!!!!! She made my experience very lovely and the appointment was very personalized. It was all about me. She was very helpful when trying on dresses. DO NOT BUY A DRESS HERE! My wife was coerced into signing a contract, only to spend thousands of dollars on a dress (and numerous alterations) that was mutilated so badly she could not wear it on our wedding day. She wound up going to a David’s Bridal a few days before the wedding and got an excellent dress in less than half an hour! When we withheld payment for the alterations on a dress that was unfit to wear, Downtown Bridal threatened to sue us! Downtown Bridal is an unethical cancer in the Salisbury business community that will take THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of your hard earned money, and then hide behind lawyers when you refuse to accept their INCOMPETENT work.****UPDATE RESPONSE TO OWNERDOWNTOWN BRIDAL REFUSES TO STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCT!!Now instead of taking responsibility, Downtown Bridal has decided to blame the customer for ruining her own dress. In their long-winded and wildly inaccurate explanation (see below), they blame my wife by saying that she either outgrew the dress in a matter of a few days or did not know how to wear the dress. SERIOUSLY? The fact that the owner has offered not one, but two sorry excuses for why the dress was simply UNWEARABLE makes it painfully clear that this business is DISHONEST. They are simply throwing out excuses and hoping that the intelligent readers here will believe them. Don’t let their clearly disingenuous attempt at being polite fool you, this shop will RUIN YOUR DRESS then RIP YOU OFF.

Absolutely loved my experience here. My consultant Susanna was beyond amazing & helped me find my dream dress. my appointment was very intimate & personal. everyone in my party was beyond happy with how our time here went. 10/10 would recommend.

I found the perfect dress for my wedding, thanks to Emily! I thought I knew what style I was looking for and pulling them off the rack. My Mother and future Mother in Law came with me to Downtown Bridal to find my wedding dress for my upcoming wedding. The staff was phenomenal (especially Susanna)Very attentive, She really went above and beyond to ensure my every need was met! I’m in LOVE with my dress and can not wait for the big day!! This place was great! They had a great selection to order and a nice ready to go rack too. It is absolutely worth the drive for personalized service. Tiara was our attendant was very knowledgeable & helpful. She made the process of getting a wedding dress stress-free & fun even during these COVID times.

We had our first fitting. They Ordered the right size so we are really excited because the dress fit and is so beautiful.

I have nothing but good things to say about Downtown Bridal! Susanna was a pleasure to work with. I was so dreading having to look for a dress, especially within a month. Not only did I find *the one* during my first visit, but it was actually one that she had picked out. She made the whole process fun & easy. Alterations were reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and punctual. Renting my fiancés tux went smoothly too. Thank you so much!

I tried going at around 3am and they werent there so of course i came back two weeks later. And luckily someone was there. Problems arose after I entered and inquired about the 50% off watermellon deal. They claimed they never heard of it. I left respectfully but do know I do not plan on doing business with them again. Just dont got enough pizazz and cransoul for my liking

My consultant was AMAZING. She listened to my concerns with different silhouette styles and took the extra steps to help me find something that compliments the color of the bouquet I made. I am beyond happy to have found my dream dress thanks to her.

I had an appointment today and as soon as I walked in everything happened immediately, everybody there is very respectful and sweet. I had a picture of my dream dress with me and within fifteen minuteswe found the dress of my dreams and it’s nothing like what I had in the picture. It’s the most beautiful dress I’ve ever seen. It’s a very clean atmosphere and it’s welcoming. I had an amazing time there. And not to mention, ALL of the dresses are absolutely gorgeous! I’d recommend this place to anybody!! Amazing people. Amazing place. Amazing dresses. Best place to go hands down.

Downtown Bridal certainly went above and beyond anything I imagined in order to find my dream dress. They were all so nice and personable and made for such an incredible experience. I would recommend these ladies to any future bride to be! :)

My appointment was for 12 & we showed up a bit early & they still made us feel welcome. Jayna was our consultant & helped pick out gorgeous prom dresses that met all my needs. Im a very self consious about my body she made me feel gorgeous! I went a bit over budget but it was worth it! She even gave me a goody bag for prom with antisweat wipes, hairties, mints & some other goodies! will definitely be back for my senior prom!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience! The first time I tried dresses on was at a different shop and it was a complete nightmare. The owner was my consultant and she immediately told me that none of the dresses I liked would look good on me, and I wasn’t even allowed to choose the dresses I tried on. This was not the case here. They made me feel like family as soon as I came in. There was one particular dress I had my eye on for quite some time, and while they didn’t have it at the store, Tierra went out of her way to track down a sample dress and have it shipped over for my appointment. She’s kind, genuine, hilarious, and knows EXACTLY what’s she’s doing! She went above and beyond for me, and that dress ended up being the one! She made this experience so magical for me, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about my wedding dress shopping experience at Downtown Bridal. From the second we walked through the door, everyone was so friendly and excited for our appointment. Their COVID-19 precautions were well displayed and executed as well. My consultant, Tierra, knew my initial vision by looking at my submitted profile, and had great direction before we even chatted. She looked at the pictures I brought, measure me, and then we went shopping! Tierra was extremely knowledgeable as we glanced through the racks, it’s like she read my mind! I began to try on dresses and know from the moment I put on the second dress that it was the one! Tierra grabbed just the right accessories and I said “yes!” to the whole package. I can on recommend Downtown Bridal enough; what a relaxing and exciting experience that we will remember forever. I can’t wait to bring my bridesmaids, fiancée, and groomsmen in for dresses and tuxes!

Oh my goodness!! I was so tickled with my apptmt today! I had ALOT of anxiety, I was so worried that nothing would look nice. We (my hubs and I) were greeted warmly by the staff. Angela was amazing. She spent as much time with me as she would have a bride (Im mother of the groom). She was encouraging and very informative, she clearly knew her stuff! We found the perfect dress, a beautiful lilac chiffon. I will definitely go back for any formal gowns that I need! Thank you for everything!

My visit to Downtown Bridal was delightful!! My mother and I have visited twice to find the perfect dress and Rachel was wonderful to work with both times! Every time we visited she made us feel so welcomed. She is a joy to work with! The Sophia Tolli trunk show was beautiful and I ended up loving one of her designs. I could not be happier with my time spent at Downtown Bridal. I cant wait to return!

These ladies were extremely sweet working with me and my group of 5 for my first wedding dress shopping excursion! They had a very pretty selection, were well priced, and were very accommodating and collaborative working with us. I would highly recommend visiting!

Went to go looking for prom and I didn’t know they had another location specifically for prom dresses. Not a problem they told my mother and I to walk down the street and its on the left. We get there and its closed specifically on Wednesdays. Why werent we notified that they would be closed? I am sure the are aware that today is Wednesday. Not to sure of this place now.

I was there today with my daughter and niece looking for a wedding dress for my daughter. We had been to 2 other places that were exceptional. We had a consultant that was very rude. She took us to thier cold warehouse and my daughter had to try on dresses there without much help from her. She didnt have a place to put her clothes on while she tried on dresses, so we had to find her a stool. The consultant didnt really help her with the dresses. It was like she really didnt care if she sold a dress or not. I didnt catch her name, Im not sure she eventold us. I have alot more to say but I will leave it at that. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The service she gave was very snobby and rude.

I had planned to go to Downtown Bridal this morning just to look around for a dress for my sons wedding. I had completely forgotten about the National Folk Festival!! When I finally found parking I was so disappointed to see that the shop was closed. Just as I was walking away I heard the voice of an angel! Mary told us they were closed but invited me in. She worked with me and after what seemed like 18 dresses we found the perfect mother of the groom dress! She was cheerful professional and honest! I highly recommend Down Town Bridal and Mary!!

Decent prices. Very nice dresses and a kind and helpful staff. They are wonderful about doing all they can to make your experience painless and happy. I highly recommend them.

My daughter and I stopped by on Saturday around 1230 p.m.and were greeted at the door by a friendly young lady who let us know that she could show us a couple dresses but they were waiting for a 1 p.m. appointment to arrive so we could schedule an appointment to actually look and try on dresses. We had already assumed this to be the procedure since I have two daughters already married so we have done this before. She then asked my daughter what her budget amount for a dress was and when we said 500-600 dollars she let us know that their high end dresses were around $3000.00 but we could buy a prom gown for around $ 200.00. We immediately felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. We left and went to another company that was very welcoming and helpful. We purchased my daughters perfect, beautiful dress from them that same day. I am recommending them to everyone I know. I am disappointed in the way we were made to feel at your store. Like our budget made us not good enough to be in your store.

If I could rate them higher stars I WOULD!!!!!!!I walked into downtown bridal on a Saturday afternoon. No appointment. No idea what I was looking for. Maria came to my rescue and helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding!! She was so helpful and friendly (even though they were busy with prom season and I was a mess!) We talked about the feeling I was going for and she grabbed the perfect dress for me and my whole bridal party! I will highly recommend this store for any dress ocassion! They are absolutely amazing! Everyone I came in contact with was helpful, pleasant, and made me feel like family!

I called the store to confirm that they still had a supply of prom dresses as we were late in shopping. I was told that they had plenty of dresses still available. I was told to just stop in the store on Saturday to have a look with my daughter. I did not require an appointment. Upon arriving at the store, my husband, my 2 daughters and I were greeted promptly and shown all of the prom dresses. We were also shown a clearance rack with dresses drastically reduced. I was asked what my budget was and I answered truthfully that I would have to pay whatever was necessary to get my daughter her dream dress. I chose to start with the clearance gowns (just because you never know) and that was just fine with the lady who helped us. I forget her name but she is a real gem! My daughter picked out a few gowns off the clearance rack as well as a few full price gowns. She absolutely fell in love with the very 1st dress she tried on. The sales lady did not try to steer us to the higher priced gowns and encouraged me that it was ok for her to love the 1st gown she tried on and that it didnt matter if it was clearance. She stated when you know, you know! I was of the mind that you should at least try on 3 dresses but the sales lady assigned to me, the other sales lady who was helping another customer, and my husband all told me to let her be. The dress is absolutely stunning and was not even half the price of the other gowns. The sales ladies were fabulous and were so excited that my daughter was so pleased! They made her feel beautiful and they did not seem at all to care about price! They immediately checked to make arrangements for alterations and we were out the door within an hour or so! I will absolutely guide my other daughters, bonus daughters, and granddaughters to this establishment. They are truly professional and genuinely helpful!
