I shop goodwill because I found name brand cloths for $5.99, Prices Valerie but affordable. Goodwill is my go to since Ive been on a weight loss journey. Went from 46 inch waist to 38 inch waist, Instead of buying brand new cloths once a month I go to Goodwill and you should too. Good luck.

Used to come to this thrift store all the time when I was growing up in Salisbury, I recently came back to visit my mom and stopped here. I had such a successful shopping spree here and the prices are better than the locations up in Baltimore. I really regret not getting a pair of plaid work slacks they had in my size though :(

While a dollar or two more expensive than several of the other smaller, independent thrift stores(in Wicomico County) the Goodwill in Salisbury, MD offers a much more diverse offering of every and any genre of home and or domestic item that one could expect in any thift store setting. The volunteers and employees we encountered at the Salisbury Goodwill were nice and to say extraordinarily helpful would be quite accurate perhaps.

Store well stocked but prices very disappointing way too high. This Goodwill does not offer the value of other company stores, prices are at least twice other Goodwill stores. Goodwill is supposed to be a non-profit, this store is out to make a profit obviously.

Worthless. Closed during the pandemic when poor people need to buy clothing after losing their job and finally finding a new one. The prices are terrible but desperation is what it is. Will never shop there again after the absolute lack of care and action.

Prices are way too high and store is poorly lit and dirty. I dont think someone has taken a mop to the floors more then once a year. All sports jerseys are put on a jersey rack and are marked up significantly. Fake RGIII jersey? $35.50. Fake Joe Flacco kids jersey? $25.50. Other goodwills across the Chesapeake are a whole lot cheaper.

I almost always find cute stuff here! They have a lot of mainstream brands for a much lower price. Jeans are around $3-$5, which some reviews say is expensive, but compared the original price (probably around $60 for some of the items) Id say its a pretty good deal. They also have a lot of good plus-size clothes from what I can tell.

They have gotten WAY overpriced. I can find a lot of stuff cheaper on eBay or Amazon. And I HATE that they use permanent marker on their items. I bought a cute little teacup and saucer. Saucer is now useless because the black marker was written ON the gold, and has seeped into the color. Please do what the stores in Delaware do and invest in pricing gun!

Well I recently had my son to throw away all of my shoes and sneakers that were boxed up. When I went to the store I let one of the young ladies know my story and I told her I was looking for sneakers and she went and got all the sneakers in my size that were priced and let me pick through them. So I brought three pairs excellent customer service at the store. The prices are a little high but the customer service is beautiful.

Prices are way too high for dirty ripped clothes that were donated to the store. They want $25 for a raggedy out of style jacket. $15 for a used generic fleece shirt that you could buy brand new at Target for $10. The store was a disorganized mess. Staff was rude. They literally accused me of shoplifting because I wouldnt leave my purse at the front counter. First, Im not going to leave my valuables sitting on the floor near a cashier who couldnt care less about keeping an eye on it. Next, Ive never stolen in my life, so why the heck would I steal from a thrift store??? Im never going back to this place again. Also, the next time I donate, it will be to the Salvation Army, NOT Goodwill!!!

Prices too high for dirty, used clothes. Racks were messy and unorganized. Cashiers were slow and many items were improperly marked on the signs because as I was being rung up, items were coming up doubled in price. I understand that this is not a department store and these items are gently used but ummm, they really need to do better😒

The children’s books are a great price for 3 for $1. The children’s clothes sign says $2 unless other wise marked. Payed $3.25 for a pair of capris, and $4.95 for a size 7 dress. Just not a happy feeling reading the receipt, and sales are final so I don’t feel like I would get a refund if charged wrongly.

Mi
Review №36

They write the prices on the items for sale in permanent magic marker which cannot be removed, effectively destroying any resale value. And speaking of prices ... they are ridiculously high. Many items still have clearance stickers from retail stores who DONATED the items to Goodwill ... and they are LOWER than the asking price.

It was ok. I found some things that I needed. I can not get that 5 years agoI applied there went there 4 times talked to Manager and people would tell me they were hiring by employees and had a sign out.He would not hire me, I am a hard worker and show up for work everyday in 4 yrs and 7 months I have missed two days. The manager lying to me was upsetting the most. Once in a while I will talk to myself, and if that is a problem thats silly alot of people do. Anyway when I hear the announcement how they help people by hiring etc. They did not help me. Good Will would of helped theirselves by hiring me but the Managerdid not even know me. I was qualified and able. Could of been age? I Was almost 60 at that time . I shop there oftenwill not donate there I donate to Halo.Anyway you always remember peoplewho lie to you shame on him. However, I got a good job with a good company. Always remember when people lie to you. I have no patience for it .

I was just in this store & The prices that they raised things up to is ridiculous ! They get the stuff for free that is suppose to help the less fortunate but some things was the same price you could buy new for ! Last time I was in there I paid $5.00 for a nice almost new pair of shoes & this time when I went in same shoe but not as new looking was $15.00 & I went up to complain to the guy in charge & he acted like he could care less & then while I was standing there the women running the register was asking for Donations on top of there high prices ! You all get the stuff for free that is to help the less fortunate but I do NOT see that happening any longer ! I use to spend close to $100.000 every time I went into that store & this past time they did not get 1 dime from me ! Maybe you all need to STOP paying your CEO $880,000 thousand a year & start giving back like a NON PROFIT is suppose to !!!
