The store owner Ric discussed a deal with me for a Pokemon Topps stickers Box. We agreed on me sending it first and then once he received it he would send payment over.He accused me all along of trying to scam him even though I provided refs in which he said he was too busy to message, and he himself asked me after I said I wasnt interested in the deal to send him one box so he could see if I was legit.I thought that Comic Monstore being an established store with a good reputation, I could trust to send my product first and delay payment until he received it but my gosh I was wrong! You can see yourselves how condescending he was when he was talking to me.He has essentially received my product, accused me of scamming even though he has confirmed that he has my item in his possession and then blocked me.He claimed to of gotten my IP address which was extremely discomforting and accused me of scamming even though I sent him the product first. I have been scammed by a shop owner who thought be could pull a fast one just because Im not from the states.I cant believe that a store owner of an established business would act like this and then block me to avoid all further contact.Below I have attached photos of conversations between myself and Ric, who Shane said would discuss the deal with me.

Absolutely LOVE this place! For years this is used to be my local comic book store I went here so many times as a kid!Sucks I don’t live that close to Salisbury anymore but anytime I come with my grandpa/mom I always have a blast!Prices are great! Love that they have a dollar bin area don’t see many comic book stores doing that anymore and without that I would’ve more then likely never got interested in comics!

Good shop with a lot of neat stuff. Knowledgeable owner and good staff. I like that theyre enforcing masks and personal hygiene. If bathing, soap, and deodorant arent really your thing or if you dont believe in masking up, then this probably isnt your store. For the rest of us though its pretty rad.

Paranoid. It is a shame what covid does to a otherwise friendly environment. I hope that the owners personal views dont discourage potential new comers from enjoying roleplaying or magic the gathering.

Very nice staff. Went out of his way to call about a shelf that was in the store that I absolutely fell in love with. He said that one wasnt for sell, but he called the person who made it. They always have plenty to choose from. All kinds of toys reto and newer, but mostly older things. If you like starwars or D N D then this is a must stop for you.

Always try and support small comic companies. But requiring a mask, and then only selling them to you if you dont have one. Its ridiculous. I drove 40 minutes here... and now I cant go in. I spend over 50bucks here each visit. I wont spend another dime here.

I usually dont like comic shops because they usually have damaged items with unrealistic prices. This store however is now my favorite place ever. It had unique collectibles in top condition at wonderful prices. Highly recommended for nerds

Managed to find exactly what I was looking for and staff is friendly. DIdnt have all their comics organized or dark horse star wars comics that werent TPBs. Most of their action figures are market value or overpriced but it seems like they will work with you. That being said I did manage to find a good deal on a figure after searching and had a great experience. Great store, will come back here when Im in the area again.

Best comic book store within 100s of miles of here. Ive known the owner for over 30 years and he is a stand up guy. Hes a 1st class creative. You cant go wrong!

A cool store that is very toy focused. What I missed where the back issues, BUT the things I liked most about this place was their huge selection of dollar books and the friendly and helpful staff.

The staff are friendly and helpful have always treated me with respect. I can think of no better local business place to spend my money.

One of my favorite local stores. Ive been in many such shops over the years, and this one stands out in a lot of ways, especially for its fun, welcoming vibe. It is the kind of shop that appeals to everyone, from the Dad who loves his comics from yester-year, to his young son and his Pokemon fix, to his teenage daughter and her manga fixation, while Mom browses for a tabletop game for gamenight. It seems like the kind of place that you can enjoy if you have been into these things for a long time or if you are just a new, casual fan as well. Either way, it is a great spot to check out!

Ive been coming to this store for awhile and its fantastic. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was always given a price I felt was either fair or better on my trade in items and the employees suggestions of what I might like are always spot on. Ive been in when there have been tournaments and I was always welcomed when I came in the door. The staff are very personable and I have always appreciated that about them and I highly recommend them to anyone that has an interest in comics and collectibles.

We were just passing through and spotted this comic shop. They offer really cool graphic comic boxes sold as mystery boxes. I dont typically purchase mystery boxes because I find them to be stuff you couldnt sell individually thrown together in a box. Not so at Monstore, our mystery box was filled with surprises of quality. All comics, games, and dice were fairly priced and the staff didnt hassle us the whole time we were in there, which can happen when youre a stranger passing through a local comic shop. Everything was also clean, neat, and organized, which can be a comic shop novelty.

Great comic book store

The store lives up to its name. Its got a huge selection of items but the employees seem almost scared to say hello, let alone ask you if you want assistance. Ive been to many comic stores and often you find the same small cliques of people that frequent the location, however, the monstore takes that to a whole new level with employees conversing with regulars and avoiding g new comers at all costs. If you know what youre looking for its probably a great place to shop, but I wouldnt recommend browsing there.

I dont do well in large crowds due to.anxiety and ended up having a panic atttack at free comic book day but the store itself and the people who work there never fail to make me feel absolutely at home and happy.

Great to have at least one comic store in town. Severely over priced. Everytime I go I compare the products prices to Amazon and end up ordering online. Have been around 10 times and have only been greeted once and that was on free comic book day.

Before driving 45 minutes out of the way, I called to make sure they had a certain comic book ....I asked them twice making sure they had it . Made the drive and they claimed two people in the span of an hour bought the two copies they had :(.I was under the impression they had more than two copies. Would have been great if they checked how many they had before telling me they were available.

The staff is helpful. The store is not big enough for everything they are trying to sell. Its very tight in there.

We just came in and first off we were given no attention, they cared more about the magic game they were playing, when talking about selling a couple of comics, before even looking at them he was telling me that the prices were wrong. I have done extensive research and no what they are worth but its not about the price its the fact that he just blew me off and wouldnt even look at my comics. How can advertise you buy comics if you will not even look at them. I drove an hour and a half just to check out this shop, while the selection is large the atmosphere is terrible. If you plan on coming to this shop expect no enthusiasm or really any attention at all from the workers. I could go on for hours but iv said enough, the store isnt worth rating any stars.
