Headed to visit a relative and decided to go a different route and saw this place and filed it away to look it up. Glad I did. The online reviews were good so I decided to test drive next time I was near. They fill their Long Johns as you order and I read they will fill as much as you want. I went white cream and asked for the max. It was definitely max filling and it was really good. I think I might prefer the white cream @ Red Donut in Lexington just a tad. The apple fritter is absolutely fantastic; its different. More done than other fritters but still top notch. The sour cream bar was just mindblowingly good. Once again just a little more done than some might prefer but to me this donut was up there with any I have ever had. The cake donuts are very light. Service was fantastic, quick and the lady (owner?) was quite patient. These donuts are huge. Wish I lived closer.

Since Krispy Kreme stopped making the plain creme filled this is the BEST spot in town to get customized pastries... delicious and not expensive..try the orange glazed..

October 2020 - This is our favorite spot to get donuts in all of Winston Salem, Clemmons, Lexington, and of course Salisbury. The texture of the donuts is spot on every time. Then, to top it off, they fill them up with as little or as much ice as you want. The varity of donuts is impressive. I never thought I would like apple fritter donut, but it is so rich and crispy that it maybe my new favorite. Nice people working here too. We come here alot! Donuts are just a tadbit pricey, but worth it.Updated 10/7/20: the sour cream donut is definitely my favorite.

This place is so epically fantastic! They literally have every donut you can think of. My ultimate favorite is the strawberry butterfly and the red velvet!! My husbands is the bow tie and maple bacon! Always get fast friendly service! And now they have ice cream donut sandwiches! Amazing place to go if you love donuts!

I love their lemon filled doughnuts! Best lemon filling I have ever tasted. You pick your shell and then fill it with whatever insides you want. They arent prefilled which I like better.This time I tried the cinnamon toast crunch doughnut and it was just okay, nothing I would ever get again. I tried the buttermilk cakes for the first time but they were too hard and dry at first bite and I dont know if they are suppose to be or if they were old.The pink boxes ate cute but put them in an airtight container if you arent eating them the first day, boxes arent air tight.Will definately be back for more lemon filled!!!

OMGosh this is the BEST place to get doughnuts! You walk in and its like Doughnut Wonderland! There are so many different kinds that its hard to decide what to pick - seriously! If you have a sweet tooth or just love doughnuts then youll be in heaven! Try it and you will not regret it! :)

All my coworkers that had never been here before LOVE thier donuts. The size is perfect, the topping options are unique, and you decide on your own fillings. If youre thinking about a cream filled donut with fruity pebbles on top, simple powdered donut or a long John of dome kind they have those and everything in between. Ive only seen friendly faces behind the counter, and they are so patient with my indecisiveness. Country Donuts even has bubble tea! By the way, in the restaurant you can read thier origin story on a framed news clipping. You should! Its a really great story, but I wont spoil it for you.

Best donut shop in Salisbury! I’m not really a big fan of donuts, but this place is an exception. My husband hates donuts, but he likes the ones from here. I love that you get to pick your fillings for the donuts. And they serve boba tea too. I really like how the donuts are not too sweet.

Love this place, the variety, the taste and just simply the freshest doughnuts around period! Now I dont just give out 5 stars. For me too do so there has too be multiple things going for you and Country Donutz has that. Its clean,the employees were nice and when I stepped inside to line that stretched around the whole inside,from doughnut case to door (which isnt that long considering the place is pretty small) the employees just kept banging one customer out after the next too keep three line flowing. This is a place I would go out of my way for. Want to impress family or employers, or how about bussiness associates. Yea I said that, bring them a dozen of these puppies. Let them wet their whistles with these and theyll be drooling asking u where u got them! Stop reading this and SERIOUSLY GO GET SOME NOW!!!

This restaurant is clean and the food is outstanding. The doughnuts are fresh and much better than others doughnut places. The kids enjoyed theses doughnuts. The maple bacon doughnut is out of this world. This place is worth every penny. The cost is cheaper than some other doughtpnut shops.

Our family loves Country Donuts!!! Every time we go to Subway we have to stop in. The staff is always friendly. The service is always great! And the donuts... Yesterday my husband and I bought donuts from this place on 08/02/20, it appears when we got home ants were every where inside the box. Very disappointed because we usually go here twice a month. I will definitely get in touch with this store to exterminate the place or shut it down before selling donuts again.

Best donuts in Salisbury NC! Glazed, maple, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls. Dont forget the holes. I tried these so far. There were at least 20 more varieties. Open early everyday. More pricey than kk, dd, and every gas station around, but they are worth it. This is a have-to try place.

I love Country Donuts! They are so much better then Krispy Kreme or Dunkin. The donuts are always fresh. They have a wide variety. You can even choose which filing you want pumped in. I love the powdered chocolate creme filled. Its like eating a cloud. Pro tip: if you are going for just yourselfRemember, all purchases under $5 must be paid for in cash. That threw me off the first time. I ended up getting a half dozen!

Best Apple Friter I have ever had!

We went on a Saturday morning the girl working was super sweet. We got apple fritters which were the best we have ever had. And a mix variety of filled to covered in cereal. I loved the strawberry butterfly doughnut. Also the filled ones had the right amount of filling to doughnut. I would recommend this place first to support local businesses and second cuz they blow the competition out of the water!

I gave this a try one more time .The first time the milk was out of date by a very long time.This time1) I Do not care what nationality you are but,if you can not understand me and I cannot understand you it does not work.The associates were running around like stepping on a ant bed. After telling them 4 times what type of filling the doughnuts were filled with some out of this planet filling. nasty.... and it is not what you ordered. There was a very very small amount of filling and the doughnuts had some sort of stale bread taste. If you go here you have no idea what a doughnut is supposed to taste like. Because,of the language barrier it took for ever. I will not go back and would like a refund of my dozen and I will return about a 1/2 dozen out of a dozen that we could not eat.

We took my boyfriends son into country donutz for his fav treat for being a good boy all day. He was super excited to try a new place, and so were we. Well, we walked in and all he wanted was a sprinkled donut. The man in front of us bought the last one, of course the kid started crying. My boyfriend and I look at each other like hey! no big deal she can just add some sprinkles to a glazed donut. So as he is red eyed and crying we asked the girl “is there anyway you can make another sprinkled donut or just add them to one” her response 👎 “no, they’re already glazed and they won’t stick” SERIOUSLY?! Add some glaze and toss some sprinkles! Wet a napkin, moisten the glaze and sprinkle the damn donut! She went to the back and TOSSED SPRINKLES INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG!! Then hands this bag to him and says have a nice day as she goes back to her phone. We get into the car, I wet my finger, soften the glaze and boom! Made a damn glazed donut. Needless to say, we will never be back and will absolutely not recommend this place. If your employees are incapable of problem solving the most simple situations... it’s time to throw your “now hiring” sign back into the window. I cannot give you the name, she didn’t give us one and was without a name tag. We were here on 2/16/19 @ 4:45pm.

Says theyre open til 8:30 on Google. Went over and got to door at 7:57 and their doors are locked and their times say they close at 8pm on weekends. It wasnt 8pm and doors were already locked???
