Extra space staff was quick in answering my calls and making sure my needs were met. They were friendly and extremely helpful. They made sure I got everything I needed quickly and I was able to move into the storage unit that same night. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of pricing. They are extremely overpriced.

Extra Space in The Bury has great employees and a great deal. It is an indoor storage in a location (moderately busy- gas, food, I-85, etc) where I am comfortable leaving my belongings. It is a new (formerly Magic Mart) and secure facility. I am thankful for the employees (animated and hospitable) that work there to help with questions and concerns and watch over the possessions of others. You are very much appreciated by me. TNT

Good facility in good location, but theyve raised my rates by 61% in 18 months. I have another storage with another company and they only went up 20% over this same time period. I cant help but feel that Extra Space is taking advantage. Call it bait and switch or price gouging but 61% in 18 months in ridiculous.

Matthew is very rude. I called about a payment to let him know it would be paid but that the person the unit belongs to is in the hospital and he was very hateful. Not a im sorry to hear that nothing. This is not the first time he has been rude. If I could give them a 0 I would. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Unless you like rude, hateful, uncaring people dont go here. Never have i ever been talked to so rudely at a storage place.

Haven’t been here in a while due to COVID, stopped in to say hey to the manager Matt. He is great, has always been nice to and spoken to me when I come in. Come see Matt to get a unit.

Im giving my experience two stars because when I moved my stuff in January 2020 the place was clean and the staff answered my questions well. When spring came along and I went to change out clothes for the season I noticed mice droppings in my unit. The response from those in the office was yeah someone brought in food but were working on it. For the next three months, each visit I informed the office that mouse droppings were increasing. All they ever did was take my storage unit number. Ultimately, they did not put a trap in my unit until I started moving out! They scoffed at the damage done to my furniture. The store manager (as of October 2020) didnt submit the paperwork to the insurance company. He was extremely NOT helpful!I did purchase insurance in January and Im so thankful I did! They were helpful and recognize this is an issue at this facility. They were also not surprised to not receive paperwork from the manager.

I came in this morning to inquire about a space. The manager Matt was very pleasant and helpful. While they didnt have what I was looking for, Matt let me see what they do have and let me know that he will call me if the space Im looking for comes available. I highly recommend coming and checking out Extra Space Storage and seeing Matt for your needs.

Been a long term customer and the people in the office have always been helpful. They handle everything professionally and in a timely manner. While I have had mice droppings in my unit, Matt and John have done everything that they can to help me see if there was any damage, which thankfully there wasnt. They helped me clean up the mess and I know that this is self storage and not their fault but can still be frustrating. Im going to do what they have told me to do to help mitigate this situation and keep my things safe. The rest of the facility is clean and trash free, so I know it isnt on the people that work here.

Inspected the storage area and it look great. I put my contents in a 10x10 and in less than a month the lock was knocked off and all my easy selling stuff stolen.Got the manager to come and look at it before opening the door. She was no help at all and could have cared less.I called the police and come to find out it was the second break in in two weeks. Also found out they were having trouble with the cameras and no cameras in between aisles so easy to break in and steal. So is not a good place to store anything. I also wonder if it was an inside job only three people knew what was in there me my son-in-law and one of the manangers.i did not have insurance so the manager said cant help you tough. Called headquarters for a car space rental, was told one was available, however misunderstood that it was outdoor and not enclosed, as it is my first time renting a storage space. Went in and Matthew totally told us he had nothing available. We left, called again to the headquarters to make sure we were at the right place, (we were)the representative called and let Matthew know we would be there. We went back inside, apparently he had just got off the phone with the representative I had talked to. He then goes on to tell us that he has outdoor but not enclosed and that we said enclosed the first time etc...however as a sales representative and for someone like myself who was learning the process of how rental spaces worked, he never offered the first time to tell us about the outside rental, he was very dismissive and when showing us where the rental space was on the monitor, he thought that would be enough to decide if we wanted it or not...I had to tell him I still wanted to see it off the screen but in the actual lot. It was a rushed conversation and he was offensive. I felt unwelcome to do do business at this location, thus why I took my business elsewhere and so far Im very pleased with the process and the staff at the other location.

The storage unit is nice spacious and clean. There seem to have been an ant problem before I moved in as there were dead black ants all over the floor. For it to be climate controlled it was warm, the office however was nice and cool. After completing my transaction I felt pushed to complete the review right then. I decided to complete it on my time. Youre asked to purchase their insurance but when you decline to use your own you get the if anything happens dont come crying to us. I like the unit, but some discretion could be used. I gave it 4 stars because the building, as long as I dont have to  contact the office Ill be good. This was my initial review however things have changed... I was in this storage unit less than 2 months and went to get something and found a few roaches in my unit and things. I was very upset as I spent a day that was not set to move out of my unit moving I also missed work. I went in without bugs and left with a few. I had to open each box and shake everything out to be on the safe side as I didnt want roaches in my house. I went to the office and explained my concern and frustration. I was told they spray and the roaches would die soon. This was a huge inconvenience as they pride themselves on being clean.

Michael, the manager was very helpful. I wasnt sure what size unit to get, however he showed me two so I could visualize what I need. Having indoor storage will assist with temperature control. I was able to get my first month half off and get the online discount!

Great facility for your treasures. Secure, well lighted, someone on sight to answer questions. My only negative is I have 3 units and each time I rent another one they charge me a facility charge or administration charge of $24. It seems to me that once you are a customer they have your info and are just gouging you for more money.

Broken carts made it difficult to get stuff to the car without breaking my own stuff.

Customer service is horrible. They argued with me when wanting to change my storage unit from my fiances name into mine. Its my stuff plus I wanted it for personal insurance reasons but the man at desk says they wont cover me without even asking my insurance company name. My insurance company, USAA, says they will cover me. I think he wants the extra money from me paying them for insurance. I was treated like Im stupid and wrong. I will go back and change, I was too mad at that time.

I love this unit. Michael is very nice and he has an ig famous dog lol. The units are inside and temperature regulated so u don’t have to worry about it making ur things hot.
