He helped me with woodwork in my 100 yo house and i forgot how to find him. My painter recommended him and thats how I found him again. Its a good idea not to depend on phone estimates---b craftsman will want to do a nice job and cant tell over the phone how complex the job will be. He did a FINE job for me before and i am sure he will continue to do to so now.

I’m blown away by the craftsmanship that the guy at “The Stripper” performed. He took a piece of junk that someone threw together and made a piece of art out of it. I’m so pleased with it! The glass was previously glued in with caulk! He cut the glass and fitted it in with wood from his shop. He didn’t have to do all that work. He respected the challenge of the project. That’s rare. It kind of reminds me of the quote in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: “The place to improve the world is first in ones own heart and head and hands, and then work outward from there.” I highly recommend this guy for restoration. I think his name is Kim.

Quote on phone significantly lower than actual quote at the shop. Frustrating waste of time.
