Id just like to give a big shoutout to MISTY who works at this location. I had a wardrobe adjustment that I needed to make at the very last minute as a bridesmaid in my sisters wedding. Joanns gave me the option to come use one of their sewing machines on-site. When I arrived, the machine was missing its foot pedal. So Misty opened up a brand new box and helped me get things taken care of and squared away! Youre awesome, Misty! Thanks for saving me that day!

It was a nice clean store. The employees are very helpful. Got in and out with no problems. The line for fabric took awhile but thats a given lol. Overall a great experience for my first time in this location. Oh and they have a whole isle full of clearance!!! Love clearance!

Not great and super weird experience.I was checking out and an older lady was helping me. Twice she completely was sidetracked by other guests that were passing by. I had a store credit I wanted to use. I swiped my card and it read “card reader error” she called over someone else to help and in the middle of him helping her figure out how to run my store credit card, she just left, saying she was off. Passing me on to the cashier next to her.My third and final cashier who “helped” me was a younger girl. I showed the store credit card I wanted to use and she told me to swipe it. I did. Now this is the 5th time I have swiped the same store credit card and it giving me the same error.She then proceeded to swipe it her self on The machine in front of me 10 more times! All while asking me if it was still showing the same error message. WHICH IT WAS!I told her to forget it and that I’d just use my coupons. My second mistake! She was peeved that her scanner wasn’t working and had to than scan them in one by one.1 of the 10 things I purchased was already bagged by the older lady who in the middle of my transaction decided to dip. The girl looks at me and asks me if I wanted anything else bagged I said yes. SHE PROCEEDS TO BAG EACH ITEM INDIVIDUALLY?!All in all an entertaining experience but another reason I prefer Michael’s.

My favorite JoAnn location by far. So clean and big, huge selection, convenient location. And I LOVE the staff here. The last two times I’ve been in and asked for help, I’ve had an associate take the time to give me advice, recommend apps, and even teach me how to make my own binding so i didn’t have to buy it. I always love craft stores but the people here make this the best choice for me, just so helpful and enthusiastic about creating!

10x better than their old location, well lit and clean. This location surprised me, as most fabric stores are dated and surprisingly limited for how full they all look. I was able to find the fabrics I needed for a project, and a ton of things I didnt need as well. But I suppose thats just the nature of the store. Good selection and great appearance.

I love this new Joann store! Everything is clean and organized and easy to find. They have an amazing selection of fabric and craft supplies and there are always plenty of great coupons to use on products and purchases. The staff are always happy to help find anything you need. I always come out feeling more happy and inspired than when I went in.

I love Joans great pricing on art supplies and the workers are so nice, they go over and beyond to ensure you find everything you need.

This particular Joanns seems to be much better organized with a bigger selection. I can usually find fabrics that I cant find in the other Joanns stores. Although, they seem to either have less people on staff or they are more spread out on the store.

Eh, waited ten minutes to be called at the cutting table while a second associate stood there eating a candy bar. Then she offered someone walking up a turn and uh, could you check your own shops waiting for cutting list? All good in the end but my hell know your process.

They have Everything....I enjoyed their customer service.

You find all you need for your project home and crafts

I wanted an item quickly but when I entered the store, it took a little time to find someone to help. The employee at the fabric counter in the middle of the store was very helpful but I saw another employee on my way down to find someone. She was walking quickly away from me towards the back of the store & a short time later she appeared to be stocking shelves. There was an employee at the front of the store but she was checking people out at the register...which was kind of out of the way anyway. I saw another employee on the way to the middle of the store who was busily engaged in putting a bolt of fabric away & I wasnt really in his line if site...but it was kind of frustrating at first. When I did find someone to help she was friendly & did know exactly where the item was.

After downloading the app to access the coupon I intended to use I was not permitted until I reset my password. Just awkward as I was being rung out at the registers. My cashier seemed under experienced in that she said both my items were already on sale. Which I knew the one was regular price and fell under the notions coupon I retrieved (eventually). Also she grabbed my phone to scan my coupon and when she did her hand caused the screen to change to one without the coupon..twice. It was my understanding of policy for employees not to handle customers phones in case of accidental damage, etc. But great store I will be returning very soon.

This is my favorite location. The aisles are wide, brightly lit, and clean. They spend the time to organize and reorganize.I drive further, just because of how well they maintain this store.

I always look forward to going to JOANNs fabrics. This is a spacious location. They gave me a map so I can locate what I need. Huge fabric selection plus crafts and kits for kids. The staff are cheerful and helpful.

Great selection, friendly helpful staff, excellent prices

This location is brand new in mill creek and has a gorgeous view of Mount Olympus. The parking lot is huge with a drive through coffee shop in it . I really like this one though because they have tripeled their inventory and variety of merchandise. Make sure you download the app from Google Play Store it has tons of coupons like 50 % off 1 item or 40 % off entire order .( they change every week )

As a custom costume designer, this place is fantastic. Mary Alice is an absolute queen!!!

One of the better stocked stores. My son ran out of his tatting thread so we stopped in. Great customer service, and our cashier was actually a fellow tatter!

I shop JoAnns because of the limited fabric stores. I find that although they have a good assortment of fabric they seem to be out of what I need. During the height of the pandemic I appreciated their curbside pickup however the majority of time something ( usually 2 or 4 items) wasnt available any longer.The staff seem to be there because its a job. Some have very limited knowledge and dont have the time to look up from their shears to help or ask a question. The most recent visit the employee who was recovering from a recent carpal tunnel repair was the most helpful and genuine employee I think I have come across in the long history of shopping at JoAnns.

Selection limited but better than the one in my home town

Other than the great yarn rush during the pandemic (finding yarn was difficult at a lot of places) Ive had great luck with what Im looking for. This has been my zen place-fabric, yarn and more. The new big store is beautiful and Ive always had great customer service.

Ive been here twice within the past week, and my experience has been pretty ok. The fabric selection is incredible. Tons of different styles, colors and rotating sales on some great stuff. Theres a huge accessories area, as well as bits and bobs for other types of crafts.Service is ok, however lines are constant and long. Whether its for a quick question from an associate or getting fabric cut or even just checking out.Beyond that, I really enjoy coming here and will be doing so more!

Friendly and helpful staff. Some of the fabric is pretty good quality, others are so-so. And, of course, if you are strategic with the coupons, some great deals can be found. I enjoy shopping there, as well as trying support some local quilt shops. Also, the selection of outdoor fabric and utility fabrics is great! And the thread selection is great. Thanks!

Joanns is great for cute home decor, all things sewing, crafting, knitting, and more. Great options available in all their locations. The Millcreek location had a lot of used sewing machines available as well. Helpful and friendly staff.

When I go to this JoAnns it is so easy to lose myself in my creativity. I never feel overwhelmed or overstimulated because it is organized well, clean, and has great lighting. The people are so helpful and kind and make you feel like your not just another number (though sometimes you take a number at the cutting table.) It never feels crowded though I know there have been many people there when I was there. From my experience they seem to enforce the COVID-19 restrictions and take every precaution to keep their shoppers safe. I enjoy going to this Joann store with my kids as we imagine the possibilities for the current projects we are working on.

I was a distinct minority as a male in this store. I have certain things that I like to look for here and Im very satisfied with what they have. I dont even know what to do with half of what they carry. The store is clean, neat, and has helpful sales associates. Theyre relatively expensive, so I usually go when what I need is on sale.

This location focuses heavily on their cotton fabrics.For home decor and other fabrics Id go to Centerville or Riverdale.Ok selection of other items. Its a mid-sized store. It seems pretty new though, so its very clean and organized.The product layout is kinda weird in some spots.

Very friendly and fast service. Not my first visit here but this is just a side trip to pick up a gift card for my wife. there was maybe two to three customers in front of me and I was in and out in 5 minutes

I love this place although they could have more of a variety of certain crafts like resin and macrame they seem to be leaning more towards childrens craft items and sewing..

My mom and I were here the other day. We struggled to find what we were looking for. As far as customer service, we dealt with 3 different employees. The cashier and the girl cutting our fabric were super sweet. However, my mom asked an employee for help finding a certain pattern and she was treated LIKE GARBAGE!! I couldnt believe the way she was being talked to. The employee said, with a sour tone, you find it yourself, Im busy. Thats the short version. Ill never step foot in this Joanns again.

This store is really new and clean and bright. I like shopping at this one. In my home town in Idaho, I grew up with a dumpy gross joanns so this is a completely different experience!

I would think this store, even in Utah, would have fabric for Democrats. Pretty disappointing.

Just frustrated. I dont always have money available in October to buy Christmas decor or crafts, but when I was here almost all of their Christmas was gone already.Not the stores fault, but my reason for the rating.

The wait at the checkouts was a little longer than expected but I understand, however I was surprised to see a customer in the store and going through the checkout without a mask on!

Visited 9.15.2020 . One star because they had good variety and the gal at the counter cutting fabric was friendly. As I get to the counter I had my coupons and 4 regularly priced items. The cashier a young white F with glasses definitely needs more training. She failed to scan my smiles rewards, couldnt figure out how to use multiple coupons and whats worse did not ask her colleague for help.. She didnt offer any solutions and when I asked her to cancel two of the items she couldnt do that either.. if management is reading this review I recommend retraining. I left the store very frustrated 😞

I love Joann fabric and crafts! There are often good deals and the staff are usually knowledgeable and always happy to help.

My wife finds most of what she needs for her craft projects here and we love the modern and clean design of the stote.

Brand new store is amazing and a much needed improvement over the old location. Well organized, clean, and spacious with a lot more selection in every department. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The new seating area is incredibly helpful for looking through books or waiting for cloth to be cut. The addition of the Glowforge machine is very exciting and can be rented by the hour for projects. Been here multiple times since the revamp and still have not seen all the new store has to offer. Huge improvement.

Not a great selection.

While it did have what I was looking for, and someone was readily available to cut it... They were horrible people. The chick who cut it was cut and ride to my husband, who was on crutches. Didnt offer to help him at all. The chick who checked us out was rude and unhelpful. And then to top it all off! On our way out another employee barreled through me, and almost made it so I knocked my husband down. He had just had one surgery. I wont be back.

The store is new and clean and they have an electric cart for use. Though the beading section needs.more inventory

Found exactly what I needed. Lots of selection at great prices.

It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and black friday deals were still on, so it was very crowded. The lines for cutting fabric were very long and so was checking out afterwards. To save time, I skipped the cutting and chose some remnants and quarter squares. The register line moved at a good pace.

Very help to find material bi was after. To getbin and outvfast as possible. Asked if i wanted to get material measured how much material would i like measured and cut what i needed.. so i could be on my way. Very thoughtful...

Very disappointed in this company. Went to two stores to get fabric today. Both stores were vastly understaffed at the cutting counter. I left the first store with over 20 people waiting in line and 1 cutter. I observed plenty of other employees walking around that could have jumped in and helped. The problem...with so many people in line there was not room to social distance, and right now with utah experiencing high covid numbers, I would expect Joanns to be better than that. Upon arrival at the second location, same story. Very disappointing

An extensive selection of fabrics and crafts, with helpful employees who all wear smiles and are courteous. Yet, every time I have gone, theres also tension in the air between employees and management that makes me feel uneasy.

I found so many beautiful cotton fabrics. I ended up buying enough yards of fabric to make a queen sized quilt for my bed. They were having sales where I received 20% off on all of my selections and 50% off for the yardage of my full price selections.Time to start building my quilt! 🤑🤗

Many items empty on shelves. Not surprising with China manufacturing lots of it. Covid probably encouraged many to craft this year.

This store has a bit of everything. One lifetime is not enough to try out all the crafts and ideas one could pursue here. Its actually kind of depressing to walk the colorful isles and think Oh, Ive never seen that before. That looks cool. Too bad I dont have the time or money to get into that. Ill give them five stars anyway for trying.

I love the new store! It was bright and open! The staff was very helpful and kept checking up on me and helping me with what I needed to find! I even learned that I can get coupons on the app! Everyone was super nice and helpful! I will definitely be back for more! :)

The new store is wonderful however I was a little saddened to not have seen any of the employees from the old store working there. I would love to see them as they were so nice, friendly and helpful. The new staff did a good enough job but it was clear that they didnt really know where things were and were not very attentive. The new store is beautiful and clean and has everything you need for crafting.

The people who work at JoAnn are very helpful and extremely nice. The only complaint I have is the coupons you send out because everytime I go there they have the items on sale for 20 to 30 percent off and I can never use a 50 or 60 percent off coupon.

New location with no chance of Auto collision. Parking is now easy the building is huge and well organized with at least 10000 choices of every kind. I hate to visit fabric shops but I was actually in awe of all their items and found some small items for my office while my wife found some odd little sewing supplies that I would have bet money would not bee available. Some were even on sale. Yahoo!!
