I have been going to Sniders since I was a kid! I absolutely LOVE this place from the people, the meat, the quality, everything! Shop local!!! Coming from a small, family run business myself, I also respect & appreciate their hours!! You guys are the BEST! ❤

Fantastic place we have spent thousands of dollars at Sniders since we move to Utah, great customer service. Today was great like any other time. We ordered the variety pack we normal switch it up and get sampler, budget or economy packages. Reason for the four 🌟 is because normally when the ladys put our meat together its done with care and its package correctly. The males is another store not a lot of care and not separated like with what you would see with bacon and the wrapping for the roast. With the option we ordered you will recieve two whole chickens and we always get both whole chickens chopped up and that is what my wife asked the guys to do but it did not happen lol. So the next time I will ask if the ladys can package the meat separate and cut them up if possible. All in all fantastic place and very friendly.

Super great variety on meats, but it doesnt stop there, the frozen pot pie is soooo good, the rubs and sauce variety are fantastic, and the chips 🤤 yall rock!

I moved back to Utah almost two years ago and have been coming here regularly. The meat is always fresh, the staff super friendly and helpful. Never a bad or even a ho hum experience. Its always worth the drive.

Sadly We have moved from Utah to Maine. We greatly miss Snyder meets these are some of the last burgers that we froze before we left.

I regret I did not get the young ladys name but she was manning the front door / managing the line of customers about 1:20 today. Then was at the register when I was checking out a few minutes later.Very, very personable, friendly & helpful. Made waiting not only bearable but enjoyable. Shes a real asset to your store. Phenomenal selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They’ve got the standard great quality meat cuts, but then throw in lots of their own/local creations. I always leave spending $100 more than I planned on. I’m not a sandwich guy but I get one every time. Wow. The butchers boy special is my go to, no question. Glad they’re around!

Excellent meat market. I went to the store in South Ogden years ago and it was the best.My husband and I decided to check the Holladay store out and may I say yum! Wonderful array of cuts of meats. Got some pastrami and coming from New York I know what good pastrami tastes like and it was delicious! Highly recommend it for people who like good quality meats. They also serve sandwiches and have booths to sit in! Go!

This is an excellent meat store, and you will be doing yourself a favor if you try their sandwiches. Orders are made using pads they provide, letting you make a customized sandwich to your own tastes. If I might be so bold as to make a suggestion, try the one in my picture. Youll want to bundle the whole place up, and take it home, its that good.

1st time coming here and my husband and I are going to be lifelong customers! If the meat quality and food was mediocre, the friendliness of the staff would still earn them a 5 stars! We came in knowing we wanted a brisket and that was all the recipe said, but the guy behind the counter was able to work out what we probably needed and didnt make us feel like the inexperienced dummies we were haha! Luckily the quality of their handmade meals and hand cut meats is incredible as well so I guess 10 stars are in order ;) We also ordered one of their super customizable deli sandwiches and those were delicious as well. We cant wait to come back!

The beat meat you will find in the entire world!I am from Ogden. They closed the Ogden store years ago and I thought Sniders was gone forever. So happy to find they are still around.

I am from Delaware and a Polish family. When I moved out here 9 years ago I left behind great food. Finding this butcher shop is a godsend. They have good kielbasa (Polish sausage). Its not Delaware Provision but its still amazing. You guys do outstanding work!

Great place for fresh, local meat. In many cases, cheaper than the local grocery store. Must try the ready seasoned ribs, and the ground beef. They have pellets for smokers, but no wood chips or chunks. No worries tho. Just go right next door.

This is an updated review that I was very vague on. This is what I mean by overpriced: I came to Sniders to get some steaks for a bbq. I couldnt afford their cheapest steaks. Not wanting to leave empty handed, I bought 2 under 10 pound pork shoulders for over $50. I then went to Winco to get some groceries, where I noticed they had pork shoulders of the same quality (Marbling is really all that matters) for $10/each. I didnt find any good steaks there, so I went to Lucky. They too had the pork shoulders for around $10/each. So while Shniders does have some quality meat, make sure you check around for prices. I bet they paid the same price for the pork butts as Winco and Lucky.

I have been coming to this shop since it opened. I appreciate the staff and there help. I love the beautiful displays and its just a nice place. However my last visit they were telling me about Wagyu beef. And being a journeyman butcher. I know the facts. So i wanted to apologize to the butcher who said i called him a liar. I was trying to tell you about the article in bon appetite which is a highly respected magazine in the food industry. This is not your typical review. Im new to the area. I was looking for ACE Hardware. Next door was Snider Bros Meats. I couldnt believe the stream of men walking in there....so I walked in. The line at the register with happy male shoppers made me laugh.

I love this place! No matter how busy they are you will always get the best service to answer any questions you may have or helpful suggestions on how to best prepare whatever you purchase. Theyre always friendly and the quality of their meat is great!

Sniders provides the best quality meat around! The Santa Maria Tri Tip is our family favorite! We love shopping here: their staff are always able to point us to something new and amazing, and throughout this year they have made the health of their customers their top priority! I live in West Valley, takes 20 min to drive to Sniders, worth every moment. Best (Cherry wood) bacon Ive ever had, I refuse to buy bacon from anywhere else. Its not just Salted pork with liquid smoke like prepackaged bacon from Walmart, its mild and savory. I buy 3 lbs at a time separate it in 2 meal size portions and freeze it. Keeps me stocked for almost 2 months.The tritip is to die for, makes a great dinner then the leftovers can be used in omelets the next day.Dont skip the freezer, there are some great items there. We love the beef ravioli.

Sniders has the best quality meat and the greatest customer service you will find anywhere! Will, Jake, Rachael are so kind...even if one of them does not wait on you, often times they will seek you out to say hello. Kudos to the rest of the team (wish I knew everyones name) they too, are amazing, pleasant and helpful. Having a full service butcher that will cut anything to your liking is so nice! The store was incredibly clean before Covid, but they have taken it up a notch to make customers feel safe (sanitizing carts, counters, check out area etc...) I TRULY appreciate that they are doing everything they can to keep us AND their staff healthy. Ill be in when your power comes back on, I need to stock my freezer!

We make a special trip every other week to Snider Brothers Meats. Its a bit of a drive from our town but their selection and quality cannot be beat. Their staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful.I truly appreciate their enforcement of the mask policy following the CDC guidelines. Not only is their meat the best but they have also created a safe place to shop. Thank you Sniders!

Great selection. Was able to get a bunch of dinners figured out, and lunch even! Staff was awesome with helping choose good marbled meat and knowledgeable in their products!

Staff was great and took wearing masks effectively seriously. Why do some many shops think its ok to wear a mask below the nose? I walk out of those places.

Spoke with my wallet. Snider is a willing participate of the mark of the beast. Cannot buy or sell without a mask.I walked out and will not spend my money there or any other business that does so.

Love this place for their friendly interactions with customers and high quality meat. Much appreciation towards you for the enforcement on masks when it’s so lax everywhere else. We always get the garlic burgers for special BBQs and theyre phenomenal, their roast beef is great for sandwiches too. Weve been coming here for years and will continue to come here!

I have came here for years and loved it. But today might just be the last time I will step foot in this store. The store is across town for me, so when I went there today at 11:30 this morning and I get there to see the case mostly empty I was truly disappointed. The options were limited to less than general cuts of meat. I was mainly looking for ribs, and there were none, beef or pork. In fact beef ribs were not even an option when I asked. I left the store empty handed and waisted a trip across town, to only end up back at the supermarket to purchase meats I thought a Meat store would have. If you are looking to purchase steak, bacon or ground beef than this is the place. Otherwise the supermarket may be the way to go.

Great service and delicious meat. I really appreciated all the help I received today about which ribs to get to barbeque and which rub would suit our taste for spicy ribs. We got a pork shoulder covered with house rub with the bone removed that we will cook all day in our crock pot. They suggested we cook it with rub, onions and apple juice the first time we bought one and we have been buying the boneless pork shoulder from Sniders for years. Looking forward to trying the barbequed beef ribs next week.

I didnt want to write a review because this place is my best kept secret. Ive been coming here for years. I drive across town every weekend to get my meat here... This is easily the best place to buy a Porter house in the state. Brisket, ribs, beef wellington, the list goes on. Everything is fresh, the selection is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. Anyone who insults them or takes issue with wearing a mask in your store, must have some personal issues... Please dont let comments like the one below mine ruin your day. Youve always had a great business and your true customers already know that.

Really pains me to have to write this review but I was harrased multiple times about my mask not being fully over my nose. Reason being I just had a surgery on my deviated septum and I cant put any pressure on my nose what so ever and literally cant breath through my nose anyways. They didnt listen to me after repeatedly explaining that that could damage my nose in the healing process and then they rudely refused me service. I just had a Covid test for the surgery dont have it. Never had it. I feel disrespected as I was ready to purchase over 200 dollars worth of meat for my pregnant wife. But I guess I should have just damaged my nose and gone through the pain .

The management here is a joke! I got ignored by who I think was the manager and another female employee. Also noticed that some employees were not wearing masks while in what I assume is their office. I will be shopping elsewhere like Beltex, who actually appreciate their customers and are safe.

You may want to train your people in customer service. Your bouncer apparently didn’t think my mask was adequate enough although it was a homemade mask that covered my mouth and my nose and was at least as effective as his gator mask. If you’re going to require some sort of minimum spec for your mask, you should either publicize it so customers can come ready or provide one for those who don’t meet your higher standard. My mask has worked in every other retail outlet I’ve been in including smiths, Costco, and sandy city hall. You have lost my business forever.

Wonderful customer service; wonderful quality of products. Theyve gotten some flack lately for making customers wear masks during this pandemic, but I applaud them for trying to keep their customers, staff and products as safe as possible. Despite what some claim, they are not violating the ADA by not allowing people to not wear masks inside as they do allow you to shop at the door if you cannot go inside, which meets the reasonable accommodation criteria. They have a right to run their business as they see fit and I wish people would appreciate that they are just looking out for the everyones safety. These are kindhearted people running this place and I gladly give them business as often as I can.

In particular, I appreciate how the business owners are leading by example in keeping themselves and customers safe during the pandemic. My family and I have been going to Sniders for over 15 years and we have no plans to stop.

Sniders is the BEST place to get meat. They always have the highest quality for very reasonable prices. I greatly appreciate all the precautions they are currently taking regarding this pandemic by requiring everyone to wear a mask in the store and only allowing a few people in at a time, it shows they truly care about their customers. First time here, abd I have to say I was very impressed. Everyone was really quick to help, and answer any questions. Their pricing is great, selection is even better. I have never once had a bad experience here. I usually come in for one thing and leave with more (and skipping with excitement). My husband was pleasantly surprised when I came home with some beautiful filet. The meat is still second to the customer service. Most of the time you will end up in a great discussion with the employees. During these times I’ve never been happier to support my local business such as this. Thank you for putting out quality product! (There is a reason you guys sell out often right now!!)

Best butcher shop in town!

Snider brothers meat is easy to spot on the east side of Highland Drive. There is always ample parking too. The fresh meat and fish counter takes up two sides of the shop. Always great staff ready to answer my questions about a cut of meat or offer advice about a cut as well as several ways to prepare it. Their marinated chicken is very tasty and there are many flavors to pick from. But what I like best are their meat pies, be sure to grab a container of gravey too.

I have been shopping here for years. Best meats in all of Utah. They care about the quality of service and product like no other. Truly wonderful business!

I love the quality of their product, i always pre order, sometimes they run out since their meat is always fresh, last time I ordered from their, they messed up my order, very uncommon for them, I called them and without hesitation they made sure I got the right order. Had to stand in line to enter due to Covid-19, they seem to be limiting the amount of people in the store to help with social distancing. They are also requiring all customers to wear face masks. Was new to smoking with our recently aquired Treager and these guys walked me through exactly how to smoke my first brisket and it turned out AMAZING! Not only great meat and fantasic selection but also amazing customer service! Love this place.

The wait was 45 min. I asked if they had brisket before waiting. Went in and they only had points and flats. I asked for the brisket cost, $2 less per lb, and they wouldn’t do it. Very upsetting.

My wife sent me in to get some sandwiches and I was immediately taken in by how clean and organized the store was. The various difference of meats and rubs and spices you could get. Great local store. I would reccomend to stop by and get a sandwhich because they are really good.

Kudos to a business caring about people. Some of is appreciate the extra precautions that are taken. I was most disappointed to learn from a news article today that there have been inappropriate customers yelling and name-calling. Its sad when personal opinions become an excuse for inhumane behavior. Its also sad some people confuse important personal, constitutional, and human rights with privilege or other things. No one has an inherent right to shop a particular business. Anyway, kudos and keep up with the integrity regardless of the naysayers.

I used to love this store. I spent 3k a year here easy. Friday night steak night. However I will never shop here again. No matter how good your product is there is no excuse for terrible customer service. Store manager Jake, I will now take my money to a corporate chain I guess supporting local is a waste if they have people like you dealing with customers

This was great service. I was able to get exactly what I wanted and prices were extremely reasonable. I came home and cooked a steak. It was the best I have had in years, great flavor and really tender. They have made a devoted customer. I will buy all my meat at Snider Meats now!

The most fresh, quality meats around! The staff is super friendly and can help you with any questions you have. The deli sandwiches are BIG and so delicious. Whenever we are going to have a BBQ we buy everything from Sniders. A few favorites are the Sweet Bourbon Chicken, the Lemon Garlic Chicken, and the Kabobs!

Solid place to get lost in the sauce

Honestly, the best deli meats I have ever had. I eat their sandwiches pretty often and Im always left very satisfied. The prices are just right and absolutely amazing for the quality of products you receive. Everyone that works there has been very friendly as well. I will definitely keep buying my meats from them! ^-^

BEST BEST BEST steak and meat selection in town. Dont even think about going anywhere else, and the 30min drive is MORE than worth it. Staff is super friendly and ready to help with cooking ideas, recipes, and price saving strategies. Ive done a full and 1/2 cow with them, and they wrap and freeze everything perfectly. Make sure to get the house rub on their bone-porterhouse, youll never eat steak from anywhere else!

Went here on a recommendation from a friend. Absolutely blown away. There are very few businesses out there that motivate me to drive completely out of my way in rush hour traffic, and this is one of them. I will be going back regularly. The customer service was excellent, and the meat was incredible.The ONLY critique I had was that some of the cooking instructions on some of the frozen stuff I bought didnt yield optimal results. We made it work though and enjoyed all of it thoroughly!

So I’ve shopped here several times I like the product prices aren’t bad but with Covid things have changed I put on the mask like they wanted I walk in and wear glasses if I put the mask up over my nose every time I breathe my glasses fog up and I can’t see the mask was below my noseAs the guy behind the counter asked my wife what she needed and he was an older gentleman probably the owner then decides that he’s going to be the mask police for Salt Lake County and tell me that I have to put the mask up over my nose isn’t it good enough that I’m wearing a mask there’s no proven science behind the fact that it stops or does anything to Covid the news media has everybody in hysteria and their line prove it to me by showing me a scientific report that says masks prevent Covid they don’t prevent Covid Cove it is an upper respiratory problem if they prevent Covid they would prevent the flu and the cold and we should wear them around and forever moreThe simple fact that he decided he was going to be the mask police just cost him my money and everybody I know I will see to it that they never shop or spend money in his establishment again there are other meat market places in the valley and I will go there customer service is huge the way he was present it was poor at best I’m done shopping here if you want to be harassed about a mask go on ahead

Some of the best quality meat you can buy in the valley! The chicken especially is so much better than the local grocery stores that we drive all the way from Bountiful every week to shop here. You wont be disappointed!

Best butcher shop ever with the most amazing staff!!I drive up from Draper.Wouldnt buy my meat from anywhere else.Every thing is amazing, but some of my favorites is the ground beef, meatloaf, chicken fajitas.Love being able to pop a meatloaf in the oven and have instant delicious dinner...You guys are the best!!!

Absolutely great butcher shop for whatever meat you need. The ready made stuff (frozen usually) is really good too (meatloaf and chicken pot pies). The sandwiches made to order are of high quality and very affordable for the amount of meat you get and are leagues above Subway.I recommend checking out their weekly specials, I always stock up for meals for the week on those.

Love this place! Always the freshest cuts of the best meats! They also have a great variety of ready to cook options when your not feeling like putting in any prep. We will always go here before BBQ.

Great butcher shop. Great quality. Great value. When we want the good stuff, we come here and stock up. They have their own line of meat spices as well. We love the Porterhouse Roast spice and we use it on all beef dishes (not just roasts). They have great Tri-tip, marinated or plain. Their Cherry Wood smoked bacon is awesome too. You cant go wrong. They have a great selection. They are really knowledgeable and they give great, very fast service.
