Williams Sonoma does a really nice job at hiring professional mentally stable people. I appreciate the service I get from them. They are always able to resolve online order issues with grace and a very professional attitude that makes me feel whole again. I wish this store carried more in items in stock! I love their products and wish I could drive and pick things up instead of waiting for delivery and having chances of my packages getting loss :(. But they are really good about resolving issues. I will continue to support them just for the quality people they hire! It’s really rare to find nowadays.
This place has cool high end stuff for your kitchen and bar. Great staff that are always friendly and attentive!
My experience two days ago (April 17, 2021) at the store in Trolley Square, in Salt Lake City, was delightful! I was very happy with the outcome of a purchase and exchange that I made. I will return to this store for future shopping, and it is my recommendation to anyone looking for quality products and excellent customer service, that this store will satisfy you on both those points.
Lots of different options and good customer service. Just be prepared to pay.
Very friendly workers. Helped us with our questions but didnt make us feel pressured to buy anything.
THIS COMPANY IS TOTALLY INCOMPETENTDon’t order anything from this company online. Ordered a coffee maker on February 24, 2021 was emailed that I would receive item on March 12 or 15. Received an email 3-13-21 was told item on back order until 3-25 or 26 and delivery date could change again. Called customer service canceled my order and was told I would receive an email with in 5-10 minutes confirming my cancellation and information when I would receive my money back. That was 8 hours ago still haven’t received any email confirming my cancellation or my money back. SO DISAPPOINTED lost my business.
Really beautiful interior, great products, and helpful staff. They had a great selection of kitchenware AND consumables. A little pricey, but you are paying for quality, expertise, and the overall superiority of the shopping experience. They were baking bread or something while we were there, and it smelled sooooo good
Don’t bother coming here because they’re never open when they say they are nor can they keep their hours straight between their website, google maps, and the sign on their door. I’ve had this happen multiple times in the last year. Show up to the store and they’re closed with no explication why. This is not how you respect your customers time.
Amazing customer service! I cant wait to go back!
GET THEM SWEET GERMAN KNIVES!
Love this store for Oils, spices, pumpkin butter, & coffee machines. Great store to shop!
Very nice and clean store.
Clean, people social distancing, out of stock on some items but still my favorite store!
Very friendly and personable staff, and helpful too. Beautiful store, and well kept. As expected, prices are fitting for a high-end kitchen appliance store. Several options for taste-testing available today. The Pumpkin Butter is fantabulous.
Really nice store and kind staff!
Very expensive place to shop they wanted $70.00for a regular kind of blender 🤔
Great products and atmosphere. Helpful employees as well.
I have always loved this company. But working for them was a nightmare. The women in management at this store might be cute and nice to your face. But they talk trash behind employee and customer backs. Be careful getting on their bad side as an employee or customer. I always tried avoiding them and would just focus on filling shelves or helping customers if I could. The reviews here make total sense! After returning home from college I thought I’d try working there again. I was promised a place on the work schedule ASAP and then never heard back from Bob. I even followed up a few times. Why offer me my old job without intending to actually do so?! Ridiculous. Employees constantly complained about feeling unwelcome around managers when I was there and were scared to speak up. Shallow. Immature. Unprofessional. Lost my and all my friends’ business. Corporate HR is aware. Probably won’t do anything. Go support a local kitchen store instead.
My husband and I love this shop! They sell top-quality product in everything they offer, and the employees here are always extremely pleasant and helpful. We always stop here when visiting Trolley Square to daydream about our future kitchen!
May be the worst retail outlet I have ever been to. I have found the same products at other stores consistently 30% cheaper. The online store is not integrated into the retail stores IT system so good luck resolving any problems with your online purchase. How is William Sonoma still in business???
Great place, clean and well staffed
The best place for kitchen stuffs with high quality
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I returned something that was sent to me as a gift (I didnt need it, and just wanted a store credit instead.) The cashier messed up and ended up refunding the money back to the person who sent me the gift (how embarrassing). So Ive been on the phone with customer service several times; they basically said they cant do anything because the money has been refunded to the gift giver AND they messed up even more and sent HIM a gift card with the store credit instead of me!!!!!!! Then customer service had the audacity to ask me if I could call the gift giver and explain what happened and ask them to send me another gift. Excuse me??????? Worst customer experience EVER! They need to make this right. I have been very patient over the last month and a half just to be told they arent going to fix it. I am beyond disgusted and annoyed.
I’ll probably never buy anything here, but walking around the store ever so often and imagining a kitchen filled with hundred dollar pots and pans is a quiet pleasure. Do yourself a favor and do the same - as a bonus, the staff are super friendly.
Chatted about air fryers, dehydraters, coffee machines, and French pots. Williams Sonoma is my hardware store. Bob, thank you for finding a machine that does all three functions. Oh and thank you for the spec sheet on the milk frother as well. Love this store👄👄👄
Always a wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff willing to go above and beyond for their customers.
This location does not stock advertised items. If you show up wanting to take something home, you will surely be disappointed!
I really like this place. It pricey but the products are usually very high quality.
I think my wife could spend about half of my paycheck in this store in one day. They have lots of cool stuff for your kitchen and lots of yummy food and desserts. The problem is we buy lots of expensive stuff here but then we never cook at home so it pretty much just sits in our cabinets. If you did a lot of cooking at home this would be a great place to shop as long as you got the dough. Haha.
I love looking here but could never afford it this store is for the rich
Love this place!! They have so many unique pieces and cute things. They have anything that you are looking for in the kitchen! Staff is super helpful and always so sweet!!
Bought a coffee maker. Service was good. They said they wanted my email address to send me a receipt. They emailed at least daily until I blocked the junk mail.
This company should be ashamed of itself. They work with an online wedding registry company. I ordered a gift for my friends wedding registry from this company on April 11, 2018. Just today, May 25, 2018, I received an email stating that the gift I selected will be delayed until June 21, 2018. In short, they waited a month and a half before even alerting me of the problem. Of course, they had no problem taking my money up front. Experiences like this are indicative of major logistical and customer service problems. In modern times, it doesnt take 2.5 months to ship a stainless steel spatula set. If companies like Amazon or ebay acted this way, they would be destroyed by their competition. If I worked here, I would be embarrassed that something like this happened (and is likely HAPPENING to many other customers).
I bought a few things online and didnt really love them once they were delivered. My experience shopping online wasnt the best so I thought Ill just return these items in store and get a gift card and maybe have better luck shopping in store. Once I arrived the women at the register was rude, dismissive and condescending. She kept trying to tell me I could have just done it all online and I tried to explain I DIDNT WANY TO. It took me 30 minutes to return TWO things (after she basically refused to help me) her manager had to assist me and she was also rude. I will NEVER shop at this location, these women are awful and after reading other reviews, maybe racist?
The staff went above and beyond and were super helpful
Go to spoons and spice in sugar house instead. Its local and has effectively the same inventory.
Lots of good quality cooking implements such as peelers and strainers. Ask if you dont find what you want on the shelves: there may be more in drawers below or elsewhere in the store.
WS is a cool store, has everything. Wonderful sauces & spices. Very expensive!
A fun place to shop. High end supplies at a high end price.
You need a kitchen appliance/tool, they got it! And the highest quality, which of course you pay for.
Lots of quality equipment to choose from. Reasonable prices.
Store was well laid out, and the staff was very helpful and engaging!
This place is very pricey but its a lot of fun to look
William Sonoma will always have a special place in my heart.
Good for gadgets and posh cookware. Sorta overpriced and suffused with a sticky aura of bourgeois aquisitiveness.
These people are RUDE. i went in to pick up a gift, i said “hi i am here to pick up a package for *insert name here* it’s a gift my mom ordered for me today from you guys and told me to pick it up here.” “well what is it?” “i don’t know it’s a gift.” “well i can’t find it if you don’t know what it is.” “erm, she didn’t tell me what it is. it’s a gift... my mom ordered it, it’s gift wrapped, it should have my name on it...? she told me they said all i should need is my name to pick it up.” she then wordlessly walks away, annoyed. ask if we can make a nespresso from the other lady that was there, and she was very visibly irritated to have to help. one of the ladies was nice though, while we were waiting and browsing, like, super nice! i wish i remembered her name. but WOW, if i am spending money at williams sonoma, i cant imagine what it’s like for people just browsing. management really needs to do something about this, because i haven’t been to another WS like this. working retail is tough, i know, but if the customer isn’t being rude to you, don’t be rude for no reason!also: two total people came into the store the entire twenty minutes i was there so it wasn’t a “well i’m so busy i can’t help,” thing.
Can I give 4 million stars?
A little pricey, but good quality.
Very helpful staff! Would go back again.
Careful... the things they have on here may have you leaving with full arms and an empty wallet... lol
I visited this particular branch last week for my mother-in-laws 60th birthday that I, was going to buy All-Clad Cookware set . I live in the upper east of NYC and I always go to Williams-Sonoma right by the Columbus Circle for my kitchen needs. They are spectacular in terms of the customer service/support. I agree they are over-charged than the internet pricing but I believe those extra charges go to their service, especially how well they treat their customers.Soon as I walked in this branch, two employees were chatting without greeting me. No problem, it is the weekend I respect they were working. I noticed that the store is really small compared to where I used to go but they had all the essential products.I stood by the All-Clad section comparing products and I even asked for an assistance. I wanted to ask difference(s) between All-Clad and Williams-Sonoma Thermo-Clad. The lady told me to wait, no problem. I waited 30 MINUTES and I had to watch her chit-chatting with one of the employees. What was more brain-breaking was she greeted the person who walked into the store, she asked their needs, and went to the cutlery section.First of all, there were less than 10 customers in the store. With that said, I do not know why she completely ignored me. Obviosly she did not had 10+ customers to take care of. To an extent, I even thought that this was somewhat a racism since I was the only Asian-American in the store (I tend to over-think when I get angry).I will never-ever visit to this particular branch. I am now back to NYC and I will be visiting Wiliams-Sonoma in Columbus Circle where I know few employees who could explain the difference(s) between the cookwares. It was a such a waste of my time and I regretted visiting this store.I just hope that in the future they will not treat the customers like that.
Nice items but very expensive. If you want a $130 waffle maker this is the place for you. Everything they sell seems to be high quality but still, very expensive.
Was there 30 min and not a single salesperson looked at us
Expanded store. More space for more kitchen toys.
Nice location, everyone was friendly, it is your typical Williams-Sonoma location.
Love the Gift wrap !
Always find something here to buy
I went there with some friends to buy some gifts for Christmas and the staff was extremely condescending and dismissive. I guess four young adults dont fit the stores atmosphere. You need to look the part to be helped.
The staff was extremely helpful and cute;)
Do yourself a favor and go to Bed Bath and Beyond. I was completely embarrassed by the “manager” there named Carolyn. She should not be allowed to talk to customers.
Great products, the best products do cost more.
Overpriced and slow, inefficient gift wrap services. Corporate needs to take note.
Went in there to browse and was asked by a worker to leave the store. Guess I didn’t look rich enough for their overpriced garbage.
Service there is awesome
Pricey but ultimate quslity
Great kitchen items!
From out of town visiting.
I want one of everything in this place
I love this place
Great selection.
Wow!
