Absolutely adore this store, I was blown away when I realized I never left a review. Every employee at Game Changerz is super welcoming and are great help. Prices are great, and trade in prices are better than a lot of the other stores in the area. They have a great repair shop with super knowledgeable technicians that know what they are doing when it comes to repairs and hardware knowledge. The owner Mike is a great guy and is always giving my friends and I great deals. Jeremy, Mike, Alex, Sam and Nick are always a joy to talk to and have great knowledge on anything in the gaming space. The store is always getting new inventory and everytime I make the trip to the store I never leave empty handed, the inventory is always really stacked with anything from retro games and hardware to Japanese imports. Ive been going to this store for years and never have had a single problem with it or the employees, this is my store of choice when it comes to video games.

I had a very detailed and complicated problem with my Playstation 4 Pro. The employee on the phone was helpful suggesting fixes over the phone and gave me an appropriate quote for proper repairs. I took my console into the store and Mike was able to take a look at my system and fix the problem within five minutes. He plugged it in and it booted no problem! Just like that!This awesome shop doubles as a classic and used games store, so I also managed to nab a sweet Nintendo 64 game! The service was second to none and the selection of games was phenomenal.If you need help with repairs for any game system or game controller of any kind, this is the place to go. These experts really know their stuff!

Went in to see what was wrong with our ps4. Look like it was just dust, they removed it and it was working again! I was prepared to pay, but since it was just dust, they didnt charge me. It was my first time I came here, but it will not be our last. These guys were awesome! They have good games as well and we didnt know they do gameboys, wiis, it;s a really cool store

They diagnosed the issue I was having with my Nintendo Switch for Free! Turns out I was using the Wrong Charger. Then they helped me find someplace where I could but the Correct Charger!

The best place to get games. Love the customer service, a lot of good games to choose from and can fix the stuff (sadly it may or may not get fixed caz of the Covid-19)

This stores stock of games is consistently updated, and visiting once a week has become a regular thing for me because of that alone. But stock aside, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and passionate about the games they sell. The games are always in great condition, and the store itself does a great job staying clean and organized.

These guys are awesome. I have been looking for a Gameboy Color and people on classified sites are asking way too much. I called Game Changerz and they had one for about half the price people online are asking. The customer service is great and they have a very welcoming environment. They fixed my ps4 and updated. it was 500gb now it 2 terabytes. the price was really fair and the customer service was awesome!!! . really knowledgeable and they really know there’s stuff and they definitely saved me a lot of $$$$ .if your system is broken I really recommend you bring your system to this guys. Instead of buying a new one you won’t regret it😉

First time in this store and I bought a game I was excited about. Got home to find out the game is not even readable. Waste of time and money shopping here. They don’t even make sure their games work before selling them. It’s literally Russian Roulette.TL;DR: 100% of the games I have purchase here (only 1) are unreadable and inoperable.

Highly recommend these guys!! After hours of YouTube videos and online searches for help (trying to fix it myself) I came in to this store beaten and battered with a PS4 hoping they would tell me it wasn’t worth repair (so my kids would get off my case) but low and behold the saint behind the counter was able to diagnose and fix it in under 10 minutes. I came home to hero’s welcome and I owe it all to these guys!

I had 4 joycons (Nintendo Switch controllers) with busted joysticks. They not only fixed in 2 days, they were MUCH cheaper than buying new joycons. And they were very helpful while I was there.

They did a great job and although it took a long time to get my Xbox back from repairs, they were honest about the time frame and I respect that.

Within minutes the problem was solved and my offer to pay money for the time it took to remedy my issue, was refused. They know their business. I bought a Wii game. I myself would have presumed it was in fine enough shape but the console was just not reading the disc after getting home. I took it back and in minutes they resurfaced the disc for me and it shined like new. I took it home and it worked great. I havent had any issues with Gamechangerz with any other purchase of N64 or Xbox 360 games.Theyre a place that sells good stuff and when theres an issue they dont bat an eye about doing what they can to remedy the situation. Im glad theyre around.

This place is great! My husband brought his switch in for repairs, and something was not right with the final result. We called, brought it in, and they fixed it up within an hour or less.The owner, and all the employees there are absolutely amazing. They’re all very kind and eager to resolve any issues. Everyone there seems extremely knowledgeable in both games, consoles, and repairs.All the items inside definitely hit you with nostalgia lol.If we ever need repairs (which I hope we don’t!) we will never go anywhere but there, we trust Game Changerz 10000000000000%!!

We went in for a repair on my Nintendo Switch, and Michael (The Owner) was quick to start trying to tweak things on the device to make it function. He tried multiple different things and although none of them worked, I was still a happy customer knowing my switch was in good hands.I turned it into him for a longer, more intensive repair, but he didn’t charge me for the time in the store he spent working on it.He was very friendly, and knowledgable about his work. I would recommend him to my friends and family - and that recommendation is coming before my switch is even fixed!I am very confident that they are a legitimate company with great morals and well trained staff, based on my visit this evening.

I absolutely love this place! They’ve got games for everything and even some cool old consoles for nostalgia! They cleaned my Xbox one x for me, assured me the fan was working, cost me $40 and the thing runs amazing now! Basically saved me $360. I even brought in my old Xbox to have cleaned and they didn’t charge me because the Xbox was in good condition. They’re very trustworthy and cool guys. Overall just a great store!

Very poorly service. The red headed guy with a sling was very rude. I asked for a game 3 times and he just told me where they were located. I knew where they were located I needed the case opened. On the 4th request he finally sent his co worker to do it. Even the look on his co worker was very disgusted. Very very rude. Very very slow service.

My wife and I had never seen or heard of Game Changerz before. The selection of games and systems was very diverse, dating all the way back to the Atari consoles. Having never seen an atari cartridge, I asked Will, the storekeeper, what it was. He shared a very fascinating history on the Atari console, the video game crash of 83, and the rise of the Nintendo Entertainment System in America. 10/10! It was worth the visit! Especially educational for my wife who did not grow up with video games at all.

Don’t listen to the one star review from Jim Hansen who accused a store manager of arguing with and offending a customer. I have been shopping with Game Changerz for almost five years. Usually I’m there about once a week. I’ve interacted with every member of the staff: the owner, the managers and the technicians. I have NEVER had anything less than a stellar experience. The staff at Game Changerz is honest, knowledgeable and respectful. Their prices are fair and it’s a great place to shop for games, both modern and retro. I’ve also had them fix a gaming console for me and they did an outstanding job. I will continue to do business with Game Changerz as long as I play video games! FIVE STARS

Great place for your retro needs. I was greeted and welcomed like I was a usual there. I mean they helped me with the pricing answered all my questions and did not try to over sell me things I wasnt wanting. And I hate paying retail for my games but with customer service like this I will go back. Thats because I travel a lot for work and I always hate retail shops but I love this one. They love games as much as I do and it made me feel like at home.

The 1# place to get NES games

Just went there to sell some old games and DS, was given a fair price and ended up getting a N64, game and accessories. They gave me a membership for free and even discounted the memory expansion pack. very friendly and will definitely go back!

Id give this place zero stars if I could. The shop perpetually smells like old pizza and body odor. In addition, the carpeting is sticky. The employees are apathetic at best. They are never happy to complete even the most menial task for a customer. However, the worst part about this establishment is their products. Despite their decent return policy, games seem to never work after purchase. Game cartridges are consistently covered in strange substances. Discs are scratched or bent. My friends and I have had problems with their products time after time. I wont be returning.

I can honestly say that this is the best gaming store in the state. I have been to most if not all of the other game stores in Utah and this one beats them in every way. Best prices, selection, and where they shine the most is their staff. They go above and beyond to make sure you are 100 percent satisfied. Definitely check this place out if you havent already !

My Wifes gen one PS4 recently had a fan burn out. These guys had it deep cleaned, replaced with a new fan they had in stock, and ready to go in less than 2 hours. I cant recommend them enough. As an added bonus, they also have a great selection of retro game cartridges and very fair pricing. Will definitely go back.

These guys are a class act. They spent time with me talking about what was wrong with my sons PS4 and were honest about what was wrong with it and explained all of my options thoroughly. When we decided it made most sense for me to sell it for parts on my own they formatted the hard drive so our personal information was wiped. They were friendly and thorough and we had a very good experience. They were also very kind and helpful to my 15 year old on the phone when he was researching where to get his console fixed. We highly recommend these guys and will certainly use them again.

Unbelievable service! They fixed my Xbox scorpio edition. Had a bad retimer chip. Even with covid going on they got me taken care of in a timely manner. They were extremely polite and nice. The price was very reasonable. Will come back again!

When I called these guys the first time, I did not get held up for someone elses personal call, unlike in a few of the reviews I have seen. It felt more like a videogame store than GameStop in most, if not all, areas.Quality of Service (5 of 5) - I brought in my Nintendo Switch to this place to get it fixed. Although unsuccessful, these people wouldnt give up and were always trying to find the right solution to the problem. I also felt like these guys knew I was slightly disappointed when they couldnt fix it, so to make up for it, they dropped the repair fees altogether. Went in to see if I could get my DS lite screen fixed, the technician acted all high and mighty and refused and the store did nothing to help me out. Poor service, bunch of jerks. I’ll find someone who shows care.
