A bit pricey but if they have at least a 40% off sale you can find different luxury items for your home at a good price point.

Great customer care, they really make sure youre taken care of if you buy their products. Working there is another story -- and looking at employee reviews, this culture is pretty standard. They seemed nice at first. The building is new and big and beautiful. The break room is also huge and fully featured. They give free snacks every afternoon. The employees who have stayed seem to be nothing but positive. The pay is competitive. Then I was terminated after driving over 40 minutes there (I live in another city) and wasnt even given a reason. I would have rather they phoned me to not even come in, but I guess they needed that security badge. Ryan, who I barely talked to once and is in charge of the floor that houses Customer Service and Sales, merely told me that I was not a good fit. Even after I pressed him for a reason, he blinked and then said the exact same thing. Khemia, who had hired me and then escorted me out of the building, wouldnt tell me the reason either. This is alarmingly a common practice, going by other employee reviews. Even the other people in my department seemed confused as to why I was let go, after we were trying to figure out why the computer at my desk was unplugged when I arrived and right before I was called into Ryans office. Apparently, one of the reasons you can get fired is by suggesting ways to improve. This is in direct contrast to what the owner told us on our second day, encouraging us to give suggestions. The day before, I called out with a migraine and used the attendance hotline as instructed. Guess theyd get into legal hot water if anyone could construe that they fired me for having a legitimate medical reason not to work. But hey, Im just a seasonal temp, right? All seasonal temps were warned that we might be let go if we called out too many times. Thats reasonable. However, this was only once. The only possible issue before then was me leaving early one day the week before, but this was approved ahead of time by my direct supervisor, Lori. Its their loss. I got along with everyone in Sales. Im easy to work with. I would have been an excellent addition to the team if I had been kept on. My last employer loved my work as an administrative assistant. Its no wonder their products are so expensive if they keep hiring and firing so many people in short order. This isnt a good business model. If Olive & Cocoa is reading this: Focus on hiring good people (quality over quantity, even for seasonal positions) and then hang on to them. Dont just shotgun-hire and then terminate without cause. That creates terrible morale for other employees who wonder if theyre next. There is no reason for you to be hiring as many temps as you do with the expectation that half of them will drop. Look inward and realize that if you have high turnover, its probably due to your practices. Until this changes, I cannot recommend that anyone buys your products or works for you.
