We’re lucky to be blessed with several good coin and bullion dealers in SLC, but my favorite is All about Coins. They keep good inventory and have very fair prices. The staff is excellent and are very friendly and like family. The manager Isaac is a great guy, very professional and knowledgeable with a great rapport with customers. The shop is a sight to see even if you’re not shopping for silver, gold, or coins. So much history in their inventory almost like a museum. Great place to buy gifts for friends and family.I highly recommend them.

Great coin shop I love going there! Its a bit of a drive but its definitely worth it, I love talking to the people there and learning the story of the coins not just buying them! They have great prices, great employees, and an overall great business its probably the best coin shop in SLC maybe even the whole state!

Just decided I was going to start collecting coins and they were extremely helpful and didn’t act put off from an inexperienced collector. They were extremely detailed and I learned so much from the gentleman who helped me. His name escapes me, I think it was Terry. I know he works there part time. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about starting or even experienced collectors to go there.

Professional, honest, and will take the time to answer questions (including some I am sure they have heard repeatably). In addition to coins, they also deal in banknotes, bullion, and some other very interesting collectibles - although coins (of all kinds) are their specialty.

This staff and owners are some of the kindest folks that I have ever met. They have been in the business for decades. Probably 2 centuries of experience between all of them. They speak clearly. They respect their customers. They make deals where possible and kindly inform when the price is firm. The bathroom is immaculate and the soap smells amazing. I hate the parking situation, but that is not their fault. THANK YOU FOR BEING RIGHT IN A WORLD THAT IS SO WRONG.

The ONLY people I deal with when concerning ANY business I have with coins or precious metals. Theyre like dealing with a family friendly business instead of a dry stuffy financial institution. The personnel are very knowledgeable and its like getting a history lesson everytime I go in. Almost like an episode of pawn stars.

Dont sell you coins here. I sent my husband here to sell my coin collection as we were moving shortly and decided to downsize. Unfortinly my husband didnt know the value of my collection and I assumed this was a reputable business. They gave him 100 bucks for a collection worth 3-500. It had 5 proof sets from decades ago, over 100 silver coins, dozens of Indian head pennies, and and a proof walking liberty coin.You might as well sell your coins to game stop.

On this visit, I was there to have them look at some U.S. and foreign paper money, as well as an ancient Greek coin.I have bought, sold and have had many interactions with Tyson and Bob over the years. They are plain and simply the best! Bob Campbell was the A.N.A. President from 1999-2001. You have to be one of the best in order to gain this position.On 7/8/15, was a visit to All About Coins that I will never forget. Both Bob and Tyson had shown their level of integrity to a degree that quite frankly left me in a state of shock!Once again I left more than satisfied, as well as amazed in the best possible way!

I have never had anyone treat me and my husband so rude before. We went in there asking about appraisal on some jewelry and the guy who we asked was so stuck up and rude he just kept repeating himself.we are a coin shop .. Seriously I will never go in there again! Take your coins somewhere else!

The owner and his son are friendly and very knowledgeable! Even when I was walking out w/ less than five bucks in coins they chatted w/ us about lots of their items. Also gave me info to seek out things they didnt have. If your looking for either a few cheap coins or really expensive and rare money (and other related things) they have you covered. Bring your kids in to look through the loose coins to find fun coins from around the world! You will need to be buzzed into and out of the store so look for the doorbell buzzer by the entrance.

I love this store. They are fair and helpful. The staff is friendly. I enjoyed the selection available. However, I did feel hurried along at times. I always do at coin shops. I could spend all day in one if I had the time. I will be back because this is the best overall coin store in the state in my opinion. Not specific to the bullion market or coin collector, but a gracious mixture of both and some fine relics as well. I recommend a visit. I will make 1 a month since I have to drive from Logan.

I have been to all about coins a few times. The staff will take time to talk to you about coins. It seems like all the bad reviews were from novice collectors or those unfamiliar with numismatics who were upset about finding out their coins werent as valuable as they thought. I remember being disappointed when I inherited a collection of coins from around the world that had been passed down to me and found out they were basically worthless. They have sentimental value. In my experience with this shop they are a good bunch of guys who love coins and are more than happy to talk, trade, buy all day if you want.

Poor customer service, I am a knowledgeable collector and wanted a second look on a coin I recently purchased. The salesperson I worked with was quick to dismiss the knowledge I had about the coin and didnt take the time to understand why I was really there. I left feeling like I, as the customer, had wasted his time. Very disappointing!!!

For some people who know nothing about the coin business I can see where some of the one stars come from. Now I have never been treated badly her, but I have seen people upset that are not making billions of dollars of the random coins they got from a friend or a loved one. If your sweet grandma gave you a coin and its worth nothing, its not that they are saying your grandma is a horrible person. She didnt know what she had ether. But for what coins shops are made to do they do a good job. Which is not caring so much about grandmas coins but for serious collectors looking to complete a masterful collection. And if you are getting a gift just get a gift card from them. Ive been there so many times that I know how to do things right.

I went in one time with some questions about some coins from other countries that I had been given by a relative. The guy in there was just some kid, with the biggest attitude and he was such an entitled little jerk. He acted like every question I asked him was a personal inconvenience for him, and would barely look at me when he spoke. Then when I inquired about selling the coins, he offered me $1.24 for all of them (there were over fifty). I ended up selling a few of them online for $11-15 a pop. I cant speak for the owners, but this particular little worm had NO idea what he was talking about. Will never go there again.

Extremely suprised by the customer service at this place. Im a collector and I expect nothing when i walk into a coin store. Some coin stores even look at you like you did something wrong when you walk into the store. But this place has AMAZING customer service and regular people could walk in not knowing anything and theyll have a good shopping experience. And there selection? You could take a bus full of kids on a field trip to this place! Good store. But dont schedule a field trip. Im sure they wont appreciate it. And i dont want to get blamed.

I am not a coin buyer but i like to look at them i am from ogden allthe stores up here treat you like dirt if youi dont know what u are looking for u cant look i went in the all about coins store just to look it was the best store i had ever been in just to look and he letme look and told me about them took all kinds of time to explain them too me i bought about a thousand dollars worth of the silver coins i really liked the chineseones that come in a calander set from small to real big ones they are and make a great set of nice coins and the bullalo head silver rounds are really neat i bought alot of them am going down again next week i want another calander set of the chinese ones the whole set they are great hope he has a whole set in stock now he was the best helper to tellme and show me it is worth the trip from ogden just to meet hime and have him show ya what he has i thot best store ever...
