Nice store but there prices are too high. They also have cheap low quality store brands compared to Kroger or Walmart

I appreciate fresh market for being around and doing their best during a pandemic for sure. However I did notice quite a few expired product so keep your eyes open and check dates. Very nice workers and generally not too crowded. Masks required and they provide sanitation which is why I dont mind going there for my weekly shopping. Also great prices :)

Been going to this store for 40 yrs. My last experience was phenomenal. I bought more that I needed. Total came to approx., 11.50$. I told cashier I was using 2 different cards. When order was rung up, I handed her my card, she pulled out a card case and said, Ill do this for you. I said oh huh? She handed me my groceries and told me to have a nice day. I cried. No one has ever done something like this for me. I am forever thankful and very touched. Her name was Terry by the way. She was an angel. Thanks

There prices are 5-7% higher than Smiths down the street and their produce department doesnt even come close to being as good as Smiths

Definately a different experience shopping here. I usually shop at Smiths but this place is growing on me. For one thing they are not as crowded I like that a lot. Some things are less some are more so it balances out

Cold drinks of the non-adult type are sparse and located horribly. Had no problem with finding the Adult Natured types though.

I have to dock this place a star for their name. Why is Utah so weird? There are very few real brands in this state. Instead they do this kind of stuff and create their own stores with very similar names to the real brands. When I searched the THE fresh market I thought that’s where I was going. When I showed up to the location it was named A fresh market. Unless Utah is the twilight zone, this sort of thing is just very cultish and off putting. The store was great but the fact that the name was a mock off of a national brand, as many things in Utah are, it creeps normal people out.

I just returned from senior hour at Fresh Market this morning, June 1st. Mostly it was business as usual and everything went smoothly until I went to the bakery dept. I was going to buy some fresh pastry and bakery items until I saw the young male worker preparing items to be placed out for purchase. He was in the back area wearing his mask around his neck, below his chin and breathing all over the unwrapped bakery items. This was a total turn off for me, a high risk senior citizen, who is trying desperately to stay healthy. I wont be buying fresh baked items at Fresh Market for quite awhile.

Great sale prices in their ad specials . Excellent location. On both 900 east bus route and 1700 South bus route. Maybe remodel store . This building was an excellent Safeway in the 1980 s

This store was originally Safeway . I shopped at Safeway all time. Excellent location. Target and Winco usually better prices. If you live in this area please grab their sale ad flyer and give them a tryItems on sale are a very good price.This is the only grocery store on 1700 south and I hope they stay in business. I love coming to this location because they have the best selection of microwave popcorn. The staff there is very helpful with any selection of requests that you have and they also have a pretty good produce section I also enjoy going to their beverage area where they had quite a good selection of beverages.

I’m always surprised that for a little ‘corner’ market they’re always surprisingly well stocked. I always think I’m going to have to make a second trip to another store but seem to always find what I need

The ice cream has always been melted and refrozen; for some reason its always covered in frost as well.Prices are extraordinarily high on most items, sometimes double that of the nearest store.Items are often still on the shelf after they expire.More than once, they have charged me a different price than the price marked; employees were like, meh.Baked items are pretty good, beer selection is pretty good; the employees are apathetic but very nice

This place is a local neighborhood store,located on the corner of 1700s and 900e. Always clean, always friendly and courteous. Good selection of the things you need. A bit pricey but I think one probably knows that prior to going in especially if its your second visit.Good meat selection as they proudly offer Cab brand beef. A cut above the rest of what most markets offer. Parking is plentiful with easy access from both 1700s and 900e entrances.

I love that they clean their parking lot after it snows, unlike Smiths. They have great rolls in the bakery. The selection can be limited as it is a smaller store, but the ethnic food selection is surprisingly good.

Has the occasional sale you cant beat at Smiths or Harmons. Decent produce. Clean and bright. Lacks the luxurious feel of an upscale market, but also the decay and dirt of a cheap grocery depot. Terribly executed shoppers club. Middle of the road in most other ways, but around here thats above average.

What a joke! How Utah and yes stores get away with ripping off other companies I’ll never know!!! Do not shop here

Great smaller grocery store, good place to pick up food stuffs. Never seen it to terribly busy, probably because it is not on a major road like other stores.It does serve two colleges in the near by area. So it uas a great beer and mixture selection (for Utah standards).

I love Fresh Market, especially this location. Its laid back and you can get in and out quickly if you need to. It took some time to get used to because its not big and fancy like some other grocery stores but I can grab one thing or a list of 50 things and am happy with my trip each time. There are at least 4 self check outs monitored by a clerk, and at least one check stand always open. The check stands offer some healthy treats and sometimes have local items for purchase. The employees are usually the same everytime I stop in and theyre actually fun to talk to. They have a deli, small bakery, and fun seasonal items. Theres a pharmacy and a meat counter which I havent used so cant speak to. Prices are comparable to other grocery chains as well.

Very convenient with great parking! However smiths has far better pricing. Very helpful and kind staff.

The staff is nice but the prices arent great and Im not thrilled with the selection either. For example, one time I bought tiny container of pumpkin pie spice and it was over $6 - I returned it when I looked at the receipt at home. I could walk to this store from my house, but pass it by to save money and and have better options at other markets. Overall they could improve.

Love this location and the friendly staff! Its nice because the lines are always short. Quick easy place to grab some quick groceries, sure theyre slightly higher prices than Smiths around the corner, but if you want faster service and less of a crowd it works out great!

Fresh is really close to my place. It is convenient, I used to get in and out of there happy. Tonight I felt so mistreated that I am not going to change my mind about the one star review. Just came back from the store so upset!! BIG, BIG mistake was to ask the young attendant (Mayah) to cut a specific piece of fish that I liked. I shouldnt dare to ask her to go into the huge trouble of cutting some fish instead of getting one of the already cut pieces that she kindly pointed out to me. When I said no and directed my hand to the piece I desired, she got furious!! Her tone of voice, her behavior and the way she did her job and treated me... unacceptable. For now on I will drive a few more blocks to get what I need. I am never going back to that place!!

This company would do well to follow the sales reports and stock whats selling and not just stock the products that pay most for shelf space. What ever happened to taking care of the customer and adding additional space for the products that are always sold out? Most of the locations would be a good place to open a grocery store...

Its inexpensive, clean, and their produce section is much improved. They still have limited selections, an ok only lunch meat selection, and very limited cheese. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Often has great sales on meat; would Not recommend any of the packaged produce. Not sure if they handle them harshly or what, but Ive had three experiences where I bought packaged organic veggies (twice it was celery) and it was partially rotted. Staff friendly but not especially helpful.

The service was very friendly, and I sure needed it. The microwave area near the bathroom upstairs is the perfect place if you need a place to warm up and cook your food.

Worst experience Ive had. Became stuck in the elevator. While the emergency dispatcher was exceptionally friendly, helpful and sent immediate assistance, the store manager was extremely rude upon our release. No apology, unfriendly and defensive when we suggested to other customers to avoid the elevator.Parking lot was in repair and a disaster. Lighting of store gloomy yellow. Depressing all around.

If youre like me, a bachelor who does not know how to operate an oven, this place has some pretty good reheatable stuff at the deli. Better than frozen dinners or Del Taco for the 9th time this week.

A place you can go shopping and get all kinds of food and vegetables and stuff so nice place to go shopping if you have the time to go there and if its close to you where you go to shop

The store itself is a typical Fresh Market store. If it werent for all the tweekers coming in and out of the parking lot to the smoke shop down the strip, I probably would have made it a five. The locale isnt the best.

Food and drink is often expired, be sure to check labels! Location is convenient. Has a soda fountain and coffee maker. Bakery makes good bagels (when fresh!).

Fresh Market is the closest store for me. They have basic grocery store items, though the produce isnt super high quality and finding higher end specialty items can be hit or miss. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It is my second choice in the area next to Smiths. It is fine. The selection is good. Prices are okay.

Confusing deals, rules so strictly enforced the customer suffers. Decent prices, some rude employees. Not bad enough to prevent me going back, but Ill go somewhere else unless this is on the way.

This Fresh Market located on 17th south in SLC is generally pretty clean, odorless and has a pretty friendly staff. Something I think is worth noting is the cleanliness of their back stock area which exceeds some of the other Fresh Markets I deliver to.

Just moved to the area, didnt have my new debit card and picked up more items than I had cash for. The cashier kept rolling her eyes at me, and when I had to take a few things out of my bag, she acted like I had done something wrong. As if I wasnt already embarrassed enough.

Great produce, dairy, fish and meat for cheaper that a lot of places. Incredible employees, most of whom have been there for the decade and a half Ive been shopping there.

I like that they had a hand cleaning and complimentary masks when you first walk in.
