I would give 5 stars if I was rating just the warehouse, but because this involved other parts of Ashley furniture I am giving 4 stars. Here is my story. We purchased a couch at the Ashley furniture store and we chose to pick up the couch ourselves rather than have them deliver it. They told us that we would have 24 hours with the couch in which we could return it if we found any problems. When I went to the warehouse to pick it up the warehouse workers told us that we didnt need to inspect the couch on site that we could take it home and if we found any problems we could bring it back. After getting two confirmations that we could bring the couch back I felt pretty confident in taking the couch home and setting it up. When we got home we discovered that one of the springs under the couch was not connected properly. This was not something I could fix on my own so we decided to call and arrange to take it back for a replacement. The warehouse was closed so we called the Ashley furniture support line and they told us we could not bring it back and once it left the warehouse it was not returnable. We explained to them that both the warehouse and the sales rep told us we could but they were still pretty insistent that we could not. We also tried calling the warehouse the next morning when they opened and we tried several times but they never picked up. This is why I took one star off the rating. Because the warehouse had previously told us we could return it we decided to box it back up and we took it back. The warehouse employees were very friendly and very willing to do a swap with us. We unloaded the broken couch showed them where it was broken they loaded us up a new one. We did inspect it this time and made sure that all the springs were intact. When we got home everything was great it went together just fine and were really enjoying the couch.My recommendation is to do the best inspection you can when you pick up your furniture. But dont stress about not being able to return it, no matter what the support reps say, because the warehouse employees are very friendly and helpful.
The actual Ashley store was good but the warehouse was not great. The workers at the front desk were preoccupied joking between themselves, and the guy who brought out the sofa we ordered was really unprofessional. He brought out this huge sofa on a dolly all by himself and we offered to help him lower it into our trailer bed but he refused and just full forced dropped the sofa from an upright position into the trailer, letting it land on its legs super hard. Im amazed it didnt break or crack one of the sofa legs.

I ordered a swivel/glider chair online on January 18th after seeing it in the store. I set the delivery date for Saturday, Feb 27 which was the day I was moving into my new house. I received a voicemail on Feb 25th to confirm the date and address of the delivery. I returned the call from the voicemail soon after the voicemail was left and confirmed the address and date with the agent. I was told I would receive a call within 24 hours of delivery to confirm the time. I never received that call.One the day my chair was supposed to be delivered, it never came and when I called to find out why I was told the delivery was rescheduled until April 3rd. I never approved nor was told about a change of delivery date. The agent told me it was rescheduled due to me not confirming the delivery date and not changing the date via email. I did talk to an agent and did confirm my address and the date. The emails I got to change the delivery date to a sooner date have never worked; I go to change the date and the calendar is completely blocked out so why am I being told in those emails I can get it sooner?I now have to wait a month for this chair and am very upset about it. I am waiting on my couch to arrive later in March so this chair was really the only thing I was going to have to sit on comfortably in my living room for a while and now I have nothing. For a month. Not sure I want to buy online again.
We ordered our sofa at the end of January and were told it would not be in until March. We just moved and did not have a couch at all, so I decided to call at the beginning of February just to see if it was in and sure enough, it was. Who knows how long it had been there or how long we would have waited if I had not decided to call and check on it. Luckily, the couch is nice and comfortable.

I will never buy from Ashley again. On top of the shoddy build quality they sold me an item that was discontinued (without telling me this item was discontinued). Told me for several months they will get me the item once it is back in stock. Then after 3 months I was told it was discontinued. They told me I would get the floor model. Then they told me I could not have the floor model. After fighting with them to return the set because of the missing item they said they would return the cost to me. They returned almost the cost. The item I purchased was a table and chairs set with a bench. I have a family with 5 kids. I had a table with no seating for months. I needed these items. Finally they said they will take the return. Refunded me $1200. Which is about the cost of the table... But not the chairs, not the bench. I ask about these but because I never got them I was never charged... But when I look at the price of the invoice it matches what my card says. Now I tell them I want things fixed. They use GBS as a warranty company. This is one of the largest rip offs you can come up with. They say they will call when they are suppose to come by. They do not. They say they will fix everything on your furniture. But they will not. My couch wobbles because of the shoddy build. And that is normal for the furniture to be twisted. Everything that Ashley furniture sells is made with the particle board and hardwood backed. This means that the fixtures inside that bolt items together are embedded in the particle board and break down quickly. In sum, the cost is astronomical for the quality, the sales team lying about every aspect to get your sale, and my issue with the discontinued items, warranty refusal to repair, and over charging for items never picked up.

Honestly had the worst experience. We brought our couch in and explained what we thought had happened. We called in a week later to get an update and were told that they were still working on it. We then called the next week and there was no answer for 2 days, no matter when we called. We were then exposed to COVID and stayed away from them for 2 weeks but they had called us telling us the couch was done. Once our quarantine was completed, we called beforehand to get our couch and it STILL WAS NOT DONE. The manager called me as I was so angry and he told me it was OUR FAULT as we had not explained what happened with our couch correctly. We then proceeded to get our couch a few days later and now it squeaks and creeks everytime we are on it. Completely dissatisfied with my interactions and my “improved” couch.

Good customer service! The girl at the desk that I spoke to was very helpful on the phone and then in store. Things were straightforward on the pickup, and we got out in no time after checking everything and signing it off.
Waited 40 min for my mattress and I was the first one there, honestly messed up my whole day for things I had to do. Why it took 40 min? I dont know but disappointed in the service today.
Absolutely horrible choice ordering online. This warehouse couldnt track my order for 2 full weeks, which I assume was cuz it never left the warehouse. I got a mattress from a different site in less time, so I called to cancel my order. After several hours for 4 separate days trying to contact customer service, their call volume literally prevented me from speaking to anyone. I filed a dispute with my bank, and almost 3 months later I got a dispute reversal on my account, over drawing it the amount of the mattress. DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE IF YOU WANT YOUR PRODUCT WITHOUT PROBLEMS
Outrageous system that this place has to load peoples furniture! So many docks open and 1 single open. Come one step up your game, I get you have amazing prices but people will see this outrageous system for picking up. I would suggest hire more people especially for the holidays!

Went to the Warehouse on a Saturday to pick up our new sofa. They only had one dock open and minimal people working it seemed. We waited in line for an hour and a half! Completely ridiculous! Come on Ashley furniture, you need to step it up, especially on a Saturday! The process of picking up your furniture is very inefficient. Hire more people to load and open more docks!! Makes me not want to buy Ashley furniture ever again.
Bought a rug at the store and was told I had to pick up. Picked up and took home, unpackaged it and it was the wrong rug!!! Went back and had to sit in line forever waiting because they couldn’t fix the issue at the front desk I had to sit in line and wait all over again. UNBELIEVABLE!
Great fast friendly service. For how busy this place is they have down to a science. The guys that loaded my truck were friendly and took care while loading my furniture.
ExtremelyPoor customer service by the receptionist. She did not look at my complete order when I went in to pick up my sofa and said that it wasnt in. I called customer service and waited on hold for 40 minutes was hung up on twice during that time and finally got in touch with someone. The person on the phone didnt apologize or empathize they said the chick at the warehouse should have found my sofa and at least let me pick that up what they had available. The agent on the phone was able to help and get things squared away. At least the salesman and store staff were friendly and helpful when we bought it. Now Ill have yo wait another two weeks to get my sofa and love seat.
I want you to picture something and follow along with me. Picture a nice little rabbit hopping in the woods. Scratch that. a nice little rabbit in the desert. Hes standing next to a cactus. He then finds himself wandering into an open field when theres not much cover. Then theres buzzards overhead looking for a nice little scrumptious meal. This rabbit looks tasty. And then the buzzards attack and annihilate the rabbit. Thats honestly what this experience felt like... as I was a poor little rabbit and the salespeople were the buzzards they cannot wait to feast upon me. Not sure if they make commission but holy moly they are very thorough in making sure that you have everything that you need and that youre buying their furniture. Their furniture is very high quality and I would recommend it for anyones home. They have not disappointed me yet and we have been purchasing couches and furniture from them for years. They offer an amazing extended warranty and its definitely worth doing.
Prices were great. Although because of the discount they try and charge for the delivery. The Staff is also keen on creepn and will follow you everywhere.

Literally the least efficient warehouse. Got there and checked in. Had 4 cars ahead of me.. It took an HOUR to get through. Finally when it was my turn the guy said it was time for him to go on break so I stood there for another 20 minutes waiting for someone to help me.. I finally just loaded everything up and waited for someone so I could sign for it. Just go to Ikea. It will save you an entire day.

Worst system Ive ever experienced. The employees are very slow moving and there is a line of 10+ cars waiting to get their furniture. But that doesnt encourage anyone to move fast. We waited over 90 minutes to get our table. A single table that I could have lifted into my car myself, I had to wait in line while other people loaded up their cars. Not worth the price savings. Other people can wait in this terrible, inefficient system. I will never buy a piece of furniture from Ashley Homestore again.
Warehouse workers were nice but the wait in line was incredible (not sure if it was because it was a Saturday or 3pm because theyclose at 5). At least 40 minutes to pick up furniture in the one dock. Worth the overpriced $100 shipping, but still you have to be prepared when you pick up your purchase.
Left the home home go look for a new chair for my living room went to several different stores found chairs not quite what I wanted got to Ashley found the one I wanted at a good excellent price paid for it brought home love that store thats the way I like to shop

Ive been watching my daughter get jacked around for the past 2 months. The change the shipping date two different times and no offer of any kind of a discount or something to make things right.
Recently I went with my friend and we were going to purchase 2 bedroom sets. The first salesman was great and then we went the next day to pay the furniture the salesman helped us the day before was off so there was a different one came and deal with us. The salesman was abrupt and rude and acted like we should be privileged to shop at their warehouse and we ended up walked away cause we just wanted to buy furniture and not being put down and being sarcastic at. The unfortunate thing we had the money but the salesman chased us away with his bad, ugly attitude. I was a good customer which I bought a $5 grand bedroom set about 4 years ago and now they employed rude people at their store please stay away. The store was located at 3rd west and 2100 south.
The dining chairs I purchased were cheaper online with free 3 day delivery to my house. However, the sales guy in Draper was so awesome that once he matched the online price we decided to purchase though him so he could get the sale, even though it meant we had to drive 40 mins to SLC to pick it up. We waited the 5 days and drove to slc. Big mistake. No good deed goes un-punished. Lol the warehouse women were HORRIBLY RUDE and have the communication and customer service skills of an angry prison guard. My advice? Order from the website and have your friendly UPS driver drop it off at your house. Really sucks that the purchase / sales end of our experience was so great... only to end our experience by being yelled at and insulted and treated poorly.

Their system of loading people’s purchases is laughably horrible. I have been waiting behind about 20 other trucks all waiting our turns to be loaded up for about 45 minutes so far and the line has only moved 3 vehicles
Our furniture was damaged upon delivery. The delivery guys tried to get out of having to take the furniture downstairs and then proceeded to throw the couch cushions down the stairs rather than just carry them down. They brought us two sets of the wrong lamps... Still waiting on the second set. When I called the warehouse to follow up they said they had them but I could come pick them up if I wanted, so I could make sure they’re the right ones. How about you just do your fu**ing job and YOU make sure they’re the right ones before you shop them?!? Jesus....
Please please please avoid Ashley Furniture. Go to a reputable furniture store.Unfortunately I purchased a lot of furnishings for our home recently. The current issue is that the Sealy mattress they sold is, after 5 short months, is having depression issues (yup my big butt caused the foam to create a substantial indentation). They take zero responsibility because its a manufacturer issue and not theirs. Customer service refuses to escalate because it doesnt meet manufacturer defect standard. You would think that Ashley doesnt want to get their name run through the mud, but based on some of the reviews at this store, that doesnt seem to matter. Avoid this store and avoid this brand at all cost.

We picked up lots of furniture and the warehouse staff were very very helpful unpacking and loading it all on our truck.
Friendly staff. Fair quality furniture. What drives you crazy though is having to drive all the way to far northwest SLC to pick up your furniture at their warehouse. Our experience was pretty poor as we drove there (76 miles round trip) to pick up our purchases on the appointed day AFTER receiving a call from their staff saying it was in, only to be told on arrival at the warehouse that none of the furniture was actually on-site. Come back next week, our shipments come in on Tuesdays. It took 3 trips to finally get the furniture we ordered...really, this was inexcusable. But, the staff was friendly.

My brother bought some furnature, they told him he could pick up on friday. So we went up after noon. Got there and they told us not all of the furnature was in yet and it could be in any time. So we loaded up what was thwre. As we strapped down the load we seen a truck come in full of stuff. My brother asked if it could be on the truck and they said they didnt know for sure and it could take hours to unload. We about pulled away and no one offered to even go see. So i insisted on my brother to ask them to have a worker go look in the laod beacuse we drove an hour and half to get ther and would have to come back for the reat of the furnature. Witch would waist our gas and time. they never said a time to pick up they just said we could pick up friday and they close at 5pm. We arrived just before 1 pm. They should not have told just friday they should of said what time too. They ended up finding it only after we insisted they look in the just delivered semi truck. Not very good service we almost had to waste a trip back up to pick up the last piece of furnature.
