I love the Ill guys that run this shop. They dont move really fast but they also werent terribly busy when I stopped by. Didnt need an appointment to get my safety inspection and they got me on and out in less than an hour. Tiny sitting area. Had to teach down the owner in the shop. Very casual.

Capitol Muffler is hands down the best mechanic shop in town. They are most likely one of the last of the good guys. I took my car to Midas when my anti-lock brake light came on. They gave me a long list of problems I needed to fix. I wanted a second opinion. I took it to Capitol and had them look at it. It needed one part. Easy and inexpensive fix. Fast service and they are more than fair on the pricing. I have been taking cars there for years and have never had a bad experience. And neither have any of the people I tell to take their cars there.

Really saved me $$$ so happy!!! I had not such a great experience up the street at Master Muffler, they wanted $260 to fix my beater minivan. I really needed a much better deal, the guy here, Mario, was awesome! He sold me a used muffler and new custom pipes, out the door at $140. I cant guarantee that everyone will get the used muffler deal but overall Id go here any day, he got me in and out in 30 minutes so I could make a lunch appt. Will return here for sure!

They are good guys and have great prices. They replaced my catalytic converter for a fraction of the price I was quoted at another shop. My only issue was that, once the new part was in, my cars problem wasnt fully solved. I went back to the shop three times only to be told to keep resetting the check engine light and driving the car around until the light turned off. After driving hundreds of miles without any luck, I gave up on finding a permanent solution to the problem. UPDATE: over a year later I went to a different shop and had a different but similar-priced catalytic converter installed which permanently fixed the problem. Would have been nice to have it done correctly the first time. I understand that every car is different and its hard to know which part will work in each circumstance, but I wish they would have researched my vehicles emission standards more thoroughly before confidently installing a sub-standard part.

Outstanding. Bill has been running this business for over 30 years. Strong Audi sends all their cars over for inspection. State inspection, auto-magic update for latest sticker and registration: $20. Out in 15 minutes.I trust Bill. He understands service, trust and reliable work. I bring all my cars here first.

I always take by car to Capitol Muffler for ANY issue. Whether it is for my yearly safety and emissions test or for a serous rattle in the front end of my car. I even had them replace the struts on my car a few years ago. They do more than just mufflers. These guys will find what is going on with your car and fix it. Go gimmicks. I trust them to fix whatever issue my car is having and not spend half their time looking for anything and everything they want you to pay for like other shops. Good honest work for your hard earned buck.

They evaluate the problem then give you simple repair options with pricing. Honest and straightforward. Plus Bill the owner and his employes are really nice and genuine people.

They are inconsiderate and disrespectful to the apartment complex that lives behind them they allow double parking and parking on the red line which is an emergency line for the complex behind them for the fire department and they dont care and they allow their customers to block off at entrance / exit very unprofessional.

I was having several car problems and my previous mechanic never fixed the issue. I took it in to this mechanic having received a recommendation from an Autozone manager who has used this mechanic for 10 years. After explaining the problem, the guy suggested it was the same problem all my friends suspected. He fixed it a lot faster than my previous mechanic and at a very reasonable price as they also fix up used cars for sale, so its not their core business. I would recommend them.
