We were pleased with our purchase. We had a small problem with the foot of the jack falling off going down the highway. I went back to look but I wasnt able to find it. I contacted them to see if they could possibly give me a new one. At first, I was unhappy that there were no places to camp. Everything was packed and I mean everything even KOA which would not be my first choice. But when I found out that I need to plan many months in advance or even a year for a spot to hook up, I accepted that. Theyre definitely busy right now. But they still did a good job shuffling everything and getting me out quickly. Special thanks to the guy in service that squeezed me in. Wish I could remember his name he was an older guy but looked and worked like a young man. Would I do it again? Probably not considering the difficulty in finding a spot to park and camp. SO busy and crowded everywhere. Great financing options. Thanks Ernest.

I have to give it two stars only for the salesman he was great. Our RV has been in the shop since July on multiple warranty claims. We are still waiting today. I agree with all of the other comments here they need some major overhauls. Our camper was a victim like one of the other claims where some took our LED chair light. This was identified when we took ownership. Currently we are waiting on parts. So many excuses for the delay when I can call a dealership closer to me and they told me they have a 2 week turnaround. Also very interesting that our manufacturer has stated to us multiple times that ALL FUN TOWNS are the worst to deal with on warranty items. Sad part is we have taken several trips where we could have used our camper and saved a lot of money but it sits in the shop. I hope this gets the attention of the owners as I see multiple consistent issues like mine online. I think we have been more than patient and polite.

Yeah, do not buy here. Service department is none existent. Parts are same way. They bent my back steps on my new trailer 4 months ago and me needing mine right then (lost my house in a hurricane) I said just order it and Ill install it. Salesman told me 2 weeks top. We almost at 5 months and oh, we ordered it and it will be here next week. This is everytime I call. I still cant use my rear door on a 65000 trailer. Spend a little more and buy somewhere else. Follow up care here is HORRIBLE.EDIT....I am not here to trash talk anyones business. I just relate my experience with the business and let people make a informed decision about whether to buy there or not. So, with that said a week after my review was posted my steps finally arrived. I installed myself so I wouldnt have to pay to tow it to the dealer.

This has been a complete nightmare. The sales man was extremely friendly and helpful but everything else is GARBAGE!!! It’s extremely frustrating that so much money is spent at a place for the service department to be so unorganized and so unfriendly. I understand that parts are few and far between, but they are taking parts off of campers to attempt to make a complete camper then not replacing the items. Then trying to get them on the phone to discuss the problem is pretty much an act of congress and the women use a disrespectful tone of voice that will immediately make you angry. That is a poor way to run a business. Over all I am so very disappointed that this is how that they treat people that have brought the business to them that ultimately pays their bills. I really hope that if even one person reads this and chooses to take their business elsewhere at least one person will have avoided so much frustration and disappointment. Buying an RV should be an exciting moment of accomplishment and you should have full faith that the people you are buying it from are going to take care of you and your expensive investment, that is not the case at this location. Funtown RV as a corporation should be evaluating what is going on here and addressing the issues, because it is an embarrassment to the entire franchise.

We are a few days shy of one month with our RV and a few things have gone wrong. Our microwave/convection oven has been out since day one as well as our electric water heater. Only way to get it fixed is to return the RV to the dealer(3hours away) to get diagnosed and parts replaced, kinda hard to do when you’re doing full time RV living. We also had trimming near the entrance walkway that was literally just placed against the wall without being glued or anything. Save your time and money find another place to purchase your rv. This place is a joke!Only reason I gave two stars is because Zane did his best to help us with this purchase.

This RV has become a joke and a lemon. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was the salesman. Leveling equipment would not work after we took it out for first trip. Took it back to get fixed and finally called to pick it up after 3 weeks only to have them demonstrate it and it fail again. Spent another 4 days sitting at site. Finally pick up RV, (mind you we have already had to make a payment on something that is not in our possession) now the refrigerator stopped working. It worked great our first trip out, but after leaving it there to fix first problem now we have a second problem. Called took it back thought they had it fixed back home with RV wait for it to cool down not working. All of this in a 24 hour period! Called again now can’t seem to fix it because it’s been past 30 days! More than frustrated and disappointed.

As a first time RV buyer I had a great experience with Fun Town in San Angelo. I had the RV I wanted picked out online (website is easy to use) and Paulie helped me through the rest of the process. He made it very easy for me and was accommodating with my work schedule. They also provide a very detailed walk-through before you drive off and during my walk the gentleman was knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. I live 2,000+ miles away but Fun Town is my #1 choice!

THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN BUYING A RV! WE BOUGHT A $95,000 TRAILER AND FIRST TRIP OUT EVERYTHING FELL APART!!! NON WORKING AUTO LEVEL, BATTERIES WOULD NOT HOLD CHARGE, CEILING FAN BROKE, VANITY MIRROR FELL ONTO FLOOR AS IT WASNT INSTALLED PROPERLY AND BROKE THE BEAUTIFUL VANITY CABINET. REFRIGERATOR WOULDNT WORK! THEN THEY REFUSE TO CORRESPOND WITH US WE HAVE MADE 4 PAYMENTS ON A TRAILER WE CANT USE! THIS PLACE IS THE WORST FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I would never recommend using fun town RV ever!! Bought a brand new 5th wheel from them. Havnt owned it 60 days. Black water tank is leaking. Belly pan has fallen down. The back corner of the 5th wheel is structurally built out of level. Wouldn’t do absolutely anything for me outside of dragging it clear across the state of Texas to get looked at 3 months from now!

We had an amazing experience here! The trailers are within a reasonable price, and the staff is great! Paulie was outstanding, he helped us through the entire process, making sure all of our requirements were met and helped us sort out all the paperwork. Our RV was cleaned and prepped to perfection prior to picking it up. I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a dealership with a variety of great trailers and excellent employees.

Our salesman, JR Ramirez was great! Very helpful finding the best RV for our family and worked hard to make it just right for us!! The finance guy also was so easy to work with. This was our very first RV..and JR and Donald (and their team) worked hard to get everything ready on pick up day. As a first time RV owner..the only thing I could suggest to make a great experience even better would be a little more explanation and guidance as to how to use all of the systems on pick up day. I’m sure with a little trial and error we will figure it all out..but it’s a little daunting when you’ve never used them before.

Update- Since the standard obligatory response to my review, Ive not heard anything from them. Lesson learned about SAFTRV.youre looking at used trailers beware! They dont make repairs or clean it up and if they know it has an issue...Its up to you to find whats wrong with it during the walk through. Which will be rushed. So Check everything, open every cabinet, drawer, turn everything on to see it work. If you request a repair or a cleaning make sure its done before you go to pick it up. Will not buy from SAFTRV again.

These people are the best. Customer service like no other. They made sure I left completely happy and satisfied. Go out of their way to get you your moneys worth and will do anything possible to make sure you get exactly what you were looking for. Bought a brand new fifth wheel from SAFTRV, have had it for a month now and nothing but problems, once you buy from them forget about trying to get help with anything all they do is give you the run around, I guess after they get their money they ghost you...save your money and go somewhere else..

We came a couple of times out to see the inventory and he gladly, patiently and knowledgeable show us what I wanted to see and even showed us what he thought Id like. We finally made the purchase and Im so glad I waited. I love my new camper and couldnt be happier with the customer service that Collin displayed. This is the place to go when you dont just wanna hear your typical sales pitch. We were never pushed/pressured for the sale and had nothing but positive vibes from the salesman Stephen; he helped every step of the way. Rudy came in clutch with an entire walkthrough and inspection of the entire travel trailer we purchased, go Bears haha. Very impressed with this place and definitely recommend a visit.

Bought a toy hauler from fun town RV in August 2020 the sales part of the transaction went great, we picked up the RV on August the 21st we went straight to our camp site from day one we started having issues with the RV, we dropped it back off at the RV place for repairs on August 25, here we are September the 10th and we still don’t have our RV back, we called the service department and they say we’re still looking at another week or two maybe. We had plans for Labor Day and we couldn’t do that, and also we had plans for the weekend of September the 11th and now I’m going to have to rent a hotel room for 4 days cause my RV is not ready. The reason I bought and RV is so We wouldn’t have to stay at hotel rooms any more, so much for that plan. I’m new to the RV world and I’m already not liking what I’m seeing.

We received excellent service from the Fun Town RV Service Dept. Bynum Hightower, Acting Service Manager, understood all of our needs and accommodated us without hesitation. He was, often, in contact with us making sure that we would bring our trailer to his service department, for the major repairs needed to be done to our new 5th wheel. He always made sure he was present and available to visit with us when we arrived and when we left with our 5th wheel, making sure that the repairs were to our satisfaction. Our sincerest Thanks to Paul, and the rest of the guys that worked diligently to make sure everything was alright before we left. (((BUYER BEWARE)))I came across Fun Town RV online and decided to give them a call. I talked to the salesman Juan and he sent me a few trailers he had in stock, I wanted a toy hauler and he sent one that was a 5th wheel and said that’s all he had, so I found a trailer with everything I might have wanted in a trailer except the toy hauler. I live in Arizona so I read the details of this trailer over and over and decided to go ahead with the purchase going off just the description he sent me because I work all the time so I couldn’t make it out to see it till the day I picked it up. Then when I arrive there are allot of pull behind toy haulers. SMH As we were doing the walk threw I noticed some things that the trailer didn’t have that the description said it did so I asked about it and when Juan realized it didn’t have what was in the description he went into defensive mode and told us multiple times that the description of what it says it has is not always accurate and that they have a disclaimer so if we didn’t read it then well there is nothing he can do. He was very disrespectful to my mother and had no regard or care to the things we were saying he just brushed it off and was rude the whole time. If the trailer wasn’t already paid for I would have left and went to another dealer. I would not recommend buying anything from this salesman not even a candy bar.

Dont use Pauly as a salesman he is horrible!! After we put money down to hold the r.v. he was no where to be seen. He never told us when the r.v. would arrive so we could schedule to be there. He got attitude when we asked to have the paperwork emailed over for my wife to sign because we both could not get off. I waited an hour just to turn in paperwork and finish paying the money down. If it wasnt for Mario, the gentleman that gave me the walk through on the r.v. it would have been a horrible experience. Matt the finance gentleman was very nice and kept apologizing for the wasted time. On the 3.5 hour drive home i found out the running lights do not work. So i called the service department and now waiting for a call back.( this is a brand new camper)

Great overall experience at Fun Town San Angelo. I was looking for a specific teardrop trailer, and found it online at Fun Town. Collin Hanna was my salesman and answered every question I had. After speaking at length with Collin, I felt confident enough to drive cross country to buy the trailer sight unseen. I was not disappointed. I was greeted warmly by Paulie, Zane and Juan. Over all I had a good experience my salesman Pauli was great he was able to listen and show me exactly what I asked for and not up sell me. He allowed me to take my time with no pressure he even offed me a chick fila sandwich ( gotta appreciate that) once the deal was made I went to the finance office and that portion went fairly smoothly. After the deal was made I went to pick up the camper at 330. I wasn’t able to actually pull off the lot till 530 a lot of this was due to my electric jack being stripped pauli got it replaced for free and and we had to do a few other things before I could leave. All and all it was a good experience and I got a nice camper at a great deal.

Traveling for our job and living out of an RV, Its imperative to have something that is comfortable and makes you feel like home. Our salesman Colin who is a young man did an outstanding job! Even with the pouring rain, this young man was bound and determined to find us what we loved. His knowledge of trailers was very impressive. Colin out beats any other RV salesman we have dealt with in the past. We are very appreciative of his hard work. Definitely would recommend.

Hector in the service department helped us out and found us the parts we were missing on the spot so that we were ready to go on a trip as soon as we left the lot! We are happy with our experience and purchase through Fun Town RV and would do business again here, for sure!

We recently purchased a RV through Fun Town RV. We were greeted right off the bat by Zane Bowers. He was great! With our search all around Texas and surrounding states, this coach fit all needs we wanted. The walkthrough inspection with Mario was very thorough and detailed as there was some details that needed to be addressed and fixed, which were on site.Within financing, the papers for title transfer, bill of sale, etc. was all complete prior talking details on how we were to pay for coach. In addition, financing department was a little tricky as we were instructed to go online with our phone to make the purchase with our credit card on their corporate website. In addition, FM would not run the credit card on their machine in house due to a 3% fee on their end. Very frustrating to a buyer. Once the transaction was completed, no hand shake, congrats, enjoy....nothing. Very unprofessional, especially in the event we had just bought a very expensive unit.Zane was informed how disappointed we were with their finance manager as we also spoke to the sales manager, Hector. Zane and Hector went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied when we left.All in all, great experience with salesman, great service techs.

After much research, we found the RV we wanted to see at San Angelo Fun Town RV. Our salesman, David Martinez, did an outstanding job showing us this RV, responding quickly to our texts and calls and handling all the details of the sale and trade.What made our experience so great was how everyone from the tech who gave us the walk through to the manager, went out of their way to help us with the transition. They let us stay at their facility connected to electricity and even had us fill jugs with drinking water from their water cooler.We are full time RVers so we were there three days from start to finish. Fun Town staff would stop by often to see how we were doing, even offering help with larger and heavier items.We would recommend anyone looking to buy an RV check with the folks at San Angelo Fun Town RV.

Don’t buy from this place! They lie to you from the very beginning! Our sales rep was Paulie who was the supposed top salesman for years straight! I can’t imagine the rest of em with that in mind! The Rv that we were interested in was not available at their location but were willing to make transfer if we approved for a line of credit. Per their policy they requested a deposit of $600 to lock down trailer to show a serious inquiry but then in turn found out they took $1000 from my bank account! I still let that pass! I didn’t hear from this Man until days later after I called and texted several times and when he called me he told me RV had already been shipped and ready for me to pick up! Smh! Confused I called him and reiterated our agreement not to send RV this way until I Accepted the terms and had a chance to look at the metal RV with same features at their yard. He then argued with me after he repeatedly told me I was not binding myself to anything with the deposit that it was simply a security because it was the only one in stock and it was their policy. We went down to San Angelo a couple of days later to walk in by surprise and looked at the RV that had been shipped! It was filthy, some of the electric fuses were burnt out, the framing looked very cheaply made, and looked even smaller that in pictures on the internet, and I told him I was no longer interested. I went on asking for something better on top of what I had already been thru and he argued stating I had already put a deposit to have that one shipped! I think this man is a passive liar that believes his own scheme. I called the financial manager and told him what the issue was and he stated there shouldn’t be a problem to return my deposit if I wasn’t interested but never returned my call. Lies after lies we just left the place with no RV . I’ve tried to contact this place to inquire on my refund and have not received a call back! Their website also states they do free deliveries and they attempted to charge me for something I didn’t authorize! Smh this place is a joke! Don’t fall for It and don’t give them any of ur money! I am reporting these people to the better business bureau and will go further if I have to! I will not tolerate push overs!

We just recently purchased a camper from Fun Town RV. We worked with Zane and we was great. Very polite and tried to make sure that we were taken care of. We live out of town and had to travel 3.5 hours to get to San Angelo. Everything was great until financing. George was terrible to work with. He had called and told us that he would overnight our paperwork and we could bring it back when we picked up our camper. Well we did not realize that he added gap to our deal and my husband questioned him about it and he said that well your wife told me it was okay. No sir. I never agreed or accepted that nor would I make that decision without discussing it with my husband first. I really dont appreciate that and will never work with George again. He was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Salesman was great, financing was terrible!

I went to get trailer inspection. They can not do it. The one guy is not there. Just one person for stat inspections.my trailer has been in shop for 7 weeks no work done.ok pick up trailer today found new damage. They knew about it did not tell me. Not pleased. I had body work on other side fixed

O.K. where do I start, so much to say about ART: I went to San Angelo and saw some friends from the Central High School get-together. There we saw an RV that caught my husbands eye. I was really dreading this because I have always known he wanted one. Once my friend Lori Lackey from Midland, Texas showed him the inside he was so excited. He started asking her questions and one thing led to another and within 30 minutes we were at Fun Town RV looking for ART. Art, is such an incredible individual that we took to his character immediately. He didnt give us an crap or B.S. because it was sizzling hot outside. He showed us what we were looking for and continued to impress us. I am so glad that he was not wearing a suit because then I would have been uncomfortable knowing how hot it was out there. ART is serious and funny with great Wit at the same time. Carlos and I thought we would take the RV right then and there, but he did tell us everything ahead of time that is took 48 hours for inspections and so forth. Customer service was great. Could use some work on returning phone calls and emails, but other than that, an overall good place. Would recommend to family and friends. Prices are also very very competitive with other places across Texas.

We purchased a brand new 2018 Cherokee & had a few technical difficulties after we left the lot. The service department originally put us off several weeks but after speaking with the manager Hector, he connected us with Elisa in the service department & she did an amazing job getting us taken care of. She kept us updated & let us know what repairs were done. Our RV has been repaired to our satisfaction & we greatly appreciate everything she did to help us.

This was our second purchase from Fun Town RV in San Angelo. This experience was better than the first by far! Both times the staff has been very attentive and quick to fix any issues. The first time we just didnt have a very good salesman. Art was our guy this time. He was very helpful, so was the service dept and George in financing.

Overall the experience was not as good as I would have liked. Hector the General Manager is great to work with but sales, warranty and contract signing are not as smooth. The team did not do any work ahead of my visit. So when I showed up the awning was broken, the camper was dirty, there were issues with the paper work to the point where we almost did not close the deal. I even sent the paperwork over a week in advance of my visit so they could be prepared. Now Im dealing with the warranty department telling me I need to send them the part first before they will send the new one. Im going to be better off just fixing the awning myself than dealing with them. Seems unreasonable to me.

Great place to find an RV. Large selection and very helpful staff. Working with RV Dave (David Martinez), he has been great. Very patient with me asking tons of questions and taking pics for me. No pressure and always available for help when needed.

My husband purchased an rv from here we owned the rv for 3 and a half months it was a 2020 model purchased in 2019 . 3 months into owning the unit we had to send it back to get a window leak and delamination fixed that was 5 months ago they still have not fixed it it has been to two fun town shops and is now with the manufacturer they just called us to tell us it would in fact be longer. the manufacturer has declined to help in light of giving us a poor product we feel helpless we have to make payments on this camper every month for no reason and has shown no sign of getting any better.

If I could give infinite stars I would! Zane Bowers is the best, he made the entire experience great. He was very nice, patient with us, and made sure we found the perfect 5th wheel. Our transition went smoothly, our walkthrough was thorough and we couldn’t be more happy, seriously! If you are looking into buying, definitely give him a call! I purchased a new 2016 Columbus Fifth Wheel a few weeks ago and Author Ross did an outstanding job finding what we were looking for. He searched several lots and he actually had a new model delivered to his home lot in San Angelo that was a perfect fit. Art made the purchase very simple by making a deal that we could both live with. Art worked with us for several weeks to get the right RV to fit our needs and most sales people would have given up but he persevered without being a pushy sales person. Art would call maybe once a week to let me know he was still trying to find what we needed. I will buy again from Arthur Ross who is a good honest man!!!

We purchased our RV in August 2018.  The sales representative, Frankie Juarez, was excellent and sale went smoothly.  Upon inspection, he/we noticed a stain like spot on the ceiling.  We were instructed to bring it back so they could change out the panel. We brought it back the beginning of December 2018.   The service clerk, Ashley told us it would be 3 to 4 weeks.  The months of December January, February came and went and the whole time I called and my boyfriend called and could never get this Ashley person in the service department to call us back to even give us an update on it.  In March, I called the service manager, who apparently quit a week or so after.  I then spoke to Charles, the new service manager.  He stated they had gotten the wrong ceiling panel in but it would take about a week and it would be complete, I asked if someone would call us.  He stated they would but of course never heard anything.  I called last week and spoke with Hector, the general manager.  He was pleasant and actually did call me back to let me know what was going on.  I explained the situation and our frustration with the lack of customer service.  This Ashley could have at least called us back to let us know something but never responded to either of us.  He stated they had been shorthanded, which I can understand but it takes 2 minutes to make a call, text or even email just to let us know the status.  We purchased this RV to use it not have it sitting in the sun rotting in their lot. We keep it covered at our home.  This was Thursday, April 11, and he stated it would be ready by mid Friday.  I explained we were going to pick it up on Saturday, April 13. We live 2 hours away from the dealership, which adds to our frustration.  He stated it would be ready and he stated they would clean the interior and wash the exterior.  When we dropped it off in early December, it was spotless and waxed.  We drove to San Angelo and arrived at about noon, called and Hector stated they needed more time, so we wandered around town for two more hours.  We show up to the lot and still had to wait another hour.  It looked like they were just then working on it.  This Ashley person was cleaning the inside he stated.  Granted it had rained that day, the RV looked like it had not been washed at all.  The inside was dirty as well.  The containers we had in the cabinets were thrown on our table. It looked like someone had ransacked the inside; it looked awful on the inside. Absolutely nothing we asked to get repaired was repaired. The trim on the table still sitting on thr couch, the trim in the shower still half falling off. They made so many holes in the ceiling, it looks awful. The ceiling is loose and we can move it up and down easily, not stable at all. We were very upset but ready to get out of there and return home.  Hector, again cordial continued to make excuses for Ashley.  There was no excuse for her rudeness and lack of customer service.  If they call what our RV looked like clean, I can imagine what their homes look like. We will never buy another RV from this location again and we will discourage anyone we know not to buy there as well. I am appalled that they did not try harder to make things right when they had our RV for over 4 months.

Paulie and the service staff have been great. Purchased in April and we love it, had one issue with our water heater last week 12/17 they had it fixed in just a few days. When it’s time for an upgrade we will definitely be trading with them.

They tried to back out of agreed deal saying that it was incorrect price and after trailer was delivered, I noticed a missing item, contacted salesman but got the “can’t talk now” message. I asked him to call me when he was available but never got a call. Also, once trailer leaves their yard, they dump you to a 3rd party tech for any questions with a ‘fun town is not responsible for repairs suggested by 3rd party’.

So we have been looking to upgrade for a few years now. We finally decided to and Paulie showed us around for a few days. We finally decided on the Columbus F381FL. Every question we had he answered or found out the answer for us. Even after picking it up and trying it out we found a few things that needed to be fix. They offered to send someone out but we were trying it out in town and took it back. There service crew and Paulie made it right with in a few days. Easiest and pleasurable buying experience. Would recommend hands down. Paulie never pushed and let us go on our own pace. Great job!!!

My sweet bride and i purchased our new camper this past week. We got the camper that we wanted, at a good price. Frankie and Zane worked together with us to achieve that goal. When it came time to arrange the pickup, we ran into a problem with the scheduler. Apparently. they only have certain days and times that you can pick up your new camper. You have to meet THEIR schedule. This seemed to be inflexible. Granted, we did want to meet at the end of the day, but car dealers do that all the time to make it more convenient for the BUYER. After all, Im paying them to deliver me a camper.Next item; the camper was ready when we finally conceded to THEIR time and date. It was NOT at all clean, however. It had obviously been mechanically checked out and they gave me a really thorough walk-thru to show me all the features and be sure that I understood how everything operated. Today while we were cleaning it, we realized that they didnt even sweep the floors or rinse the dust off of the counter-tops and window sills. There were dead bugs in the bathroom light. Not just a few small bugs, It was almost half obstructed with dead bugs. Thats simply unacceptable. Well at least NOW WE KNOW its clean! Dont expect them to go the extra mile on anything and you wont be disappointed. They really couldve done MUCH better on the delivery. If I owned this business, Id want to know all this so we could get some better reviews, thus more opportunities for sales from folks like me who read reviews.

Zane Bowers was a great salesman. I spent days and days trying to decide what I wanted. He was very patient with me (and my picky child). He walked us through each camper about 5 times until I made a decision. My family has always loved fun town RV and I would recommend it to anyone. I would also recommend using Zane because he is super friendly and patient.
