I had purchased a washer and dryer pair from here not too long along ago. When I came in I was interested in getting a recliner. As I thought about it I decided to purchase the 2 nice recliners together with covered area between them for storage and 2 cup holders. I had made sure it was going to be electric. Then I suddenly decided I wanted to purchase the couch. Also the nice lady helping us was setting up the sale said, Uh oh, Sharon, we cant get the chair until late in July. But that will be several hundred dollars less as it will be on sale. This set is a Grey color and very soft and attractive. Of course they have a low monthly payment. If you pay it off within 12 months you pay no interest. I am happy with the salesperson and the sale and cant wait until they deliver them. Sharon Kirbow

Walked in Monday evening at 9:15 pm for just a quick look around, expecting to see employees ready to go home, we were greeted and welcomed, .A manager came ask if we needed help I explained not tonight its late im sure your ready to go home. Im not impressed with theyre business practices. We purchased a washer & dryer and a new refrigerator. We are making payments ontime, ecerytime. Since they cant get us for any nonpayment issues, they tried to tag us for renters insurance, which we have. This company is a bunch of greedy people. Conns, screwing the other guy and passing the savings on to you!

People inside the store were very nice helped me find what I wanted and got it financed. We’ll I ended up with a 43” Samsung tv that worked fantastic for a month. Then the remote and button on the tv stopped working so I called the store (I did buy 2 years of protection on it) they gave me a 1800 number to call and it has been awful they scheduled someone to come fix my tv they never showed up then they said they were going to call me to schedule a second appointment but NEVER call me back then I call for a third time and they just hung up on me. I think it’s pretty safe to say that I’ll never be shopping at conns again.

Needed an window AC unit and knew what I wanted. Came in and found several units quickly. Sales associate was on my heel but not in my hair. Picked one out, used Conns credit to pay for it, it was loaded for me, and I was gone. That guick. Good selection, quick service, friendly sales associate. Thanks Conns. My husband and I will never return to this business in San Angelo, TX! We reorganized our home and took time off of work to be home when our new bedroom set was supposed to be delivered. We waited and never received notification about the delivery time so we called corporate who told us it was delayed by 4 days. When we called the store we were then told it would be another week before it could be delivered because they didn’t have all the parts. Communication is terrible! We got out of our contract and went with a different furniture company who was more reliable!!

I moved here from OKC and was happy to learn they had a Conns here. They are a chain, but a smaller one, and they have great no/deferred interest payment plans. It is absolutely the best place to buy electronics. The local store has friendly sales and service. They even open your TV to make sure there are no defects on the display when you purchase to save you the trouble. Enjoying my new QLED!

I went into the store to buy a refrigerator, there were only a couple other customers in the store. We looked around for a long time, and still no one came to help. So I went to the front desk, and the guy, who was just standing doing nothing told me he was with a customer, and he would send a manager to help us. We waited and waited, but still no one came to help. When I again walked to the front desk, that same guy was just standing at the desk doing NOTHING and no one else was in the store! I never got ANY help!! To bad for Conns, as I had already picked out the fridge I wanted and ready to pay! Conns, you just lost an expensive sale!!!

Will not shop here again. We were told our order would be in this Friday. However, when we went to check on it, we were told that we had missed the time deadline the day we paid and now have to wait an extra week. The person we talked to said “sorry” but the look on his face said “too bad”.

Will never buy anything from them ever again! There is no service after the sale. Had bought a washer / dryer combo and after 2 weeks the washer selector know came loose . Called them to ask about having someone fix it and they said i didnt buy a service plan so no they couldnt. Its less than 2 weeks old!?!?! Terrible place. If anyone is looking to buy home furnishings please dont waste your time or money at Conns. They will con you.

Don’t buy from them online. The purchase goes through then they update with canceled and no explanation then you have to wait on a refund. It should notify you prior to payment if things are out of stock

This is a scammy place just like Rent-A-Center. If you ike having a washing machine advertised for $750 sneakily tried to be sold to you for $1,900 bucks then this is the place for you to go. Read the fine print people.

I had always liked this store, but prices are a bit higher than other places in town. Conns is always full with customers in other cities across Texas. Still a great place and the employees are awesome, but prices seem higher.

My 82 year old dad wanted needed a new cook top and went to conns. He picked out one that he thought looked nice and went to pay for it. First warning they wouldn’t deliver even though they advertise free delivery. They told him he could take it home personally and they could have someone come to install it. 2nd warning the installation price went from $75 to $200. The guy comes and installs it yesterday. It’s 3-4 weeks later. It’s pretty, dads excited and wants to test it before the guy leaves, puts a pot on it and it doesn’t work on any burner. Turns out it’s a conduction cook top and now has to spend $300+ on cookware that will work on it. The installer can’t take it out and put old one back in it’s against company policy. He called the store talked too two people and manager it’s against corporate policy. Calls main headquarters in Beaumont,Tx and it’s against corporate policy. You’ve got to be kidding. They totally screwed my dad.

Customer service was excellent! Within a few minutes I was shown the exact appliances that I had seen on line without showing from my phone. They helped me apply on line for credit. They were very informative about the appliances. I would highly recommend anyone to visit the store.

Conns sold me a MacBook Air with a faulty battery, told me that they couldnt do anything because I didnt purchase a warranty for a computer that was defective right out of the box, passed me off to corporate who told me that they werent going to do anything either and that I had to contact Apple. Apple told me that it was Conns responsibility. It was a merry-go-round of blame and passing the buck and a philosophy of buyer beware... more than enough to convince me to never darken the door of Conns again.

The sales representative we had was amazing! Betsey was just completely honest when it came to the products and the process of running a credit check. She answered every question I had and trust me, I had a lot! So patient and so kind! The only thing I would change about the experience is how many people came up to us trying to help up. Part of me wishes the representatives had a system to know who is helping who. Other than that, pretty great experience overall!

Sales staff was very knowledgeable on products and delivery options. We opted for display products, so we could load and go.

Bad experience at San Angelo location! Dec 15 I went in to buy a Mattress! On Dec18 it shows up to my house at 545pm I have to be at work at 6pm so I sign and leave when I return home I notice they brought the wrong matteress!! On Saturday the 19th at opening time Im at conns to tell them of the problem. Miguel the manager says its a corporate issue I told him that Cody ordered the wrong one we had spoke about that matteress but I wanted the Beauty Rest the following week on Dec 23 I called but Miguel would not talk to me! Do one month later I still have a matteress I dont want. Now my payment is due but even though I feel Ive been cheated, & wronged I will make my payments but I will not recommend Conns to anyone nor will I ever buy from them again

Went in today to look for a office desk chair, they had four models to choose from. The chair I picked unfortunately they only had the one on the floor but I agreed to take it. While there I saw a mini Pac-Man arcade machine that I decided I wanted. The price was marked 149.00 and the salesman told me it was on sale. He took done personal info and then came back and told me that unfortunately that was the only one they had as well and that the sale had ended on 11/24 so the price would be 199.00. Also the told me since both items were floor models, they were as is. So I countered with since they are floor models honor your sale price on the Pac-Man machine that you had labeled and maybe discount the chair since they were basically releasing themselves of any situation that may arise. Nope they would not honor the price that had marked and no discount for taking as is products off the floor. I worked retail for over 20 years, if you don’t do your job and change the signs, you sell the product as listed. I’ll never go back, waste of time! I went to Office Depot, bought a better chair for less and ordered the Pac-Man machine online for $149.00 like they had it listed.

Poor costomer service. I was looking around, but was kicked out by an employee who assumed we wouldnt make a purchase.

Originally I did not plan to leave a worded review with this company reasons why is I really like the store but I do have some complaints. First of all when viewing the product for the first time in the store I was overwhelmed very beautiful display but the salesperson was not all that great. I approach the staff in question about a sectional wondering if I could change the layout. The salesperson replied nope this is the only way it comes. I then told the store that I was just looking and would let them know if I had any other questions . Wild gazing the store looking at laptops sectionals and other items that I may acquire I overheard the sales staff saying rude comments about me by then paused my sales transaction and left the store . Upon researching the product for myself I realized I could buy the items in the sectional in pieces, I then put together a diagram of what I wanted and how much it would cost and took it into the store. Upon my arrival I told the manager I did not want the same sales representative, but I was still helped by the same gentleman. I then had a question about a microwave he replied the question wrong which then cause me to purchase the wrong item. At the end I bought and paid for a sectional design the way I wanted and the wrong microwave but kept all items

I went in to the store after getting okayd for an account. I had to have a washing machine after home depot coundnt repair mine. I am facing emergency surgery Wednesday so I. waited on home depot for a month and a half to decide what they were going to do..I came to find a washer and was told the only one I could get and carry out was not what I wanted but I settled for the only one they had. I found one front loader with a pedestal but was told I could only buy as a set. I just needed the washer. The one I got isnt what I wanted but itll have to do.

Thought I was going to have to spend a lot more money there for my washer and dryer until Andrew informed me about the low payment financing. Overall experience was amazing. Highly recommend this place

I would not recommend this store to anyone! They have very poor customer service!I ordered a bed frame from this store and when I got it home it was the wrong size. I ordered a king Size and the salesperson (Ashley) put in Queen size. Why would I order a queen size frame when I have a king size mattress! Let’s not forget she also forgot to add the lamps that I ordered also she just forgot to put those on the order at all. I called up to the store and spoke to Justine ( A so called manager) that was rude and no help at all. She didn’t even act like she wanted to help me. So she told me that she would get with her general manager and have him call me when he got there which was at 12. Well I didn’t receive no call so I called up there and spoke to him and he had no remorse at all. He acted like he didn’t even know what to say to me. He said his hands were tied! Great customer service right?! So there policy is no exchange policy I get that but when they put the whole order in completely wrong you would think they would try to make it right. So here I am with a queen size frame that I can’t even use but I’m paying over $1000 for! I will most definitely tell everyone that I know to not shop at the San Angelo store because they do not know how to do their jobs! They have very poor customer service! Do not shop with them!!

Listen folks I’m not sure exactly what’s going on with other reviewers that shop at our local Conn’s other than what their posting. But my shopping experience was great it all started with a phone call . I was looking through their website and decided that I needed a new washer and dryer so I called and was connected to a Carlos S. He took just a little bit of info and in a matter of just a few minutes I was approved so I told him that I would be in the next day to look at a set and no lie folks from the time I walked through the door and back out it only took no more than ten minutes. In the past of furniture and tv buying I had a bad experience with Ashley’s junkies furniture and Best Buy but now that I know that Conn’s has everything to furnish your home I will most definitely be giving them my business with no regrets. Folks if you’re needing something for your home give Conn’s a try and I’m pretty sure that all the sales people there will be glad to help but ask for Carlos..... he took my buying experience with exceptional excellence keep up the great work Carlos.

Had a desk and chair financed but they gave me inaccurate information regarding delivery and had to reschedule outside of my time frame for moving, not that big of a deal if they had actually sent me emails with the financing stuff (Like they said would happen) so I could cancel that as well. Dont even try in store or over the phone both are just as incompetent and will just defer you to next person. The title con only seems too accurate.

Just got a new fridge from there with Betsy and it was super easy! She explained everything and helped us get exactly what we were looking for!!! Highly recommend Conns and especially recommend asking for Betsy!!!

If giving the option I’d give them a zero rating. It’s been the absolute worse buying experience I have ever been through. I bought my kids a bunk bed here and paid it all upfront. The delivery was a day late to begin with and no one ever called to notify us. When they did deliver it they did not assembly the bed correctly. They left 8 main bolts out of the bed that hold the upper bunk in place. Took two more days to get the delivery team back out there. They brought a hand full of misc bolts that didn’t even match. Set in the room for 30-45 mins and said it was fixed. Come to find out all they did was stick the bolts in the holes to make it look like it was “fixed”. Customer service had been a complete joke through it all as well and no help what so ever. I will never buy anything from there and I will tell everyone I know not to as well.

I wish I could rate 0. This place is a joke including the manager Jeremy. So my family and I purchased a huge TV so we could watch the super bowl game on. We had it delivered and one of the delivery guys dropped it but we didn’t notice the crack until the following day when we had put it up on the wall. We have insurance though so easy fix right?? Nope!! The manager Jeremy lied and told us the TV that cost $1,800 had insurance. Now we are stuck paying on a TV that only shows a black screen. Also..We returned the items we purchased and THE MANAGER yelled at my mother and told her to take it back. Conns is horrible and I do not recommend buying anything from them unless you want your money taken. And I will share my situation all over social media so more people will be aware that San Angelo Conns is a joke and isn’t worth it at all.

This business is one of the best stores in town for service, merchandise and professional delivery. My appliances were delivered by Mr. Jacob Caballero and his delivery team who were polite, organized, clean, and on time. No a scratch or dent one! I run Concho Valley Couponers, and West Texas Fun on FB, and will give them all 6 stars!

I bought a bed and sales rep gave the spill and I fell for it he said if the bed wasn’t satisfactory I could exchange it after a week I couldn’t take anymore and I called to exchange for a soft one and his manager sale there are no exchanges on mattresses what the .... all lies to get a commission they say everything you want to hear for a sale mind you it was over$2000.00 . I don’t trust this store product great if you like sleep omg on a hard mattress. This was a hybrid mattress which was a medium but feels like a extra firm.upset at Conn’s service.

Purchased an expensive range and was promised a delivery date. Not only was the date not met, the delivery date was actually 3 weeks later. Dont make promises you cant keep Conns! I guess you will be losing our business in the future!

We went to get a tv and were blown away by the wonderful customer service. Halle was our sales associate and she was amazing!! They treat you like family. We ended up getting a computer and a Bose headset. So glad this store opened in San Angelo. We really needed it. We will be back!!

We had a great experience at Conns Home Plus. It was a very busy day (Labor Day) but Jazmine Sanchez was wonderful! She was courteous, polite and very knowledgeable about the product. If she didnt know the answer, she found out. If you go to Conns be sure and ask for Jazmine!!

Store looks very nice, with a nice selection. We made the complete round looking at everything, and not once did anyone ask if we needed any help. There were a couple of employees helping customers but most of them were gathered around a counter talking.

I went in around noon today to look at appliances. Found what I was looking for and waiting for one of the several associates standing around the desk and in the area Im in to greet me and gain my business. I made eye contact with a few, but they never got the hint. I left. Not a way to gain new business if youre a new store.

Roommate bought a washer in full waited all day for the delivery. Flyer states 1 for 1 and would take the old machine away. Nothing states 20$ to haul old unit off. Spoke to Miguel (store manager) didn’t care transfers me to delivery 🚚 only for him to transfer me back to the manager who has no options for me other than to call customer service. Called customer service and they keep saying we are not in the system and they also want our social security numbers. They won’t take the washer back without a 15% restocking fee and an additional delivery charge another 80$ after already having a bad experience. Never will I ever come into this store. It’s. A “CON job” literally ! Do not recommend! Please save yourself the headache 🤕!
