Absolutely will not be back. We spent $172 on a jacket that was marked $149. After looking at the receipt we realized they had charged us $159 for the jacket. We took it back inside wanting a $10 refund. They said it was an easy fix but looked online at the retailers price beforehand which was $159. They refused to refund us despite it being their mistake. Aside from that their employees don’t know much about their products and their selection is never really good. No worries I’ll just buy the jacket from Prana.

It was nice the staff were very helpful. We didnt have to wait to be attended. Everything went smoothly we enjoyed it.

I decided to visit Happy Trails to look for a new pair of hiking shoes, and while they had a nice selection, I didnt find a brand that I was familiar with or a suitable price. The staff was friendly enough. and they had a nice inventory of pretty much everything you would need. including Osprey packs, just not the one I was looking for. So, I think Im going to stay with REI for my outdoor needs.

I love Happy Trails! All of the employees are very friendly. They have a great selection of outdoors wear and I always come here when I need something to wear when I am outside or when I am planning on going on a hike!

Nice staff. Clean store. Cool stuff. A little more pricey than I like but Im wrapped around this girls finger, the one that calls me dad, so I bought here a shirt. I have a feeling I will be buying more stuff for her at this store.

The lady who helped us asked what type of recreation we were interested in, she was very knowledgeable in the features that would suit us best. Headed out now to find some water!

Happy trails went out of their way to find the exact kayak that I was looking for. They even went and picked it up and brought it back to their store for me. I will be picking it up on September the fifth. Their customer service is beyond the five-star limit. Not to mention all the goodies they have in stock at the store. Top quality merchandise, super friendly staff and knowledgeable salespersons.

Happy Trails is a great, one of a kind store in San Angelo. The outdoor lifestyle community is growing in SA, and HT and its staff are there to outfit our growing needs. I love how I can bring my dog in there and get lost talking with the staff, or looking at the newest equipment. This alone makes it a great store, but the owners are great supporters of local events and theyre helping build a strong community.

I bought a pair on On Cloud running shoes approx 3 weeks ago. This is guessing the 10th pair of shoes I have purchased in the store since they opened and never had a problem so I threw the box away when I got home. I tried to return the shoes yesterday (without the box.. my mistake) the manager basically laughed at me and told me he couldnt help me when I told him they killed my feet and I didnt want my money back, I just wanted to exchange them. He said since they were worn I couldnt return them. I want sure how I could realize they killed my feet except for wearing them twice. The ownership has recently changed the customer service was always fantastic with the previous owner but no more. I still own a pair of expensive On Cloud shoes that I will donate and never shop there again.

Pricey and inventory similar to that of R.E.I. The staff was courteous and helpful. I didnt buy anything on my visit to them..but perhaps I will next time. I would recommend them even if the prices are a bit higher than I would expect.
