I am always looking for fun, embroidered pieces to add to my collection. I love Johny Was, but wanted to support a locally owned Mexican Dress shop, and was NOT disappointed! I found some beautiful pieces for myself as well as my three daughters, and cant wait to go back. What a jewel in Alamo heights!

I have bought several dresses and blouses and the craftsmanship is one of a kind and the customer service has always been superb. Friendly staff and they always answer my questions satisfactorily. They’re products are one of a kind and I love shopping there. Recommend 100%!

Terrible customer service. I had been a loyal customer for years and recently tried to return something I bought for my husband for Christmas and they wouldn’t let me. Said it was store policy for exchange/store credit only. So beware! Their prices are way too expensive for you to not be able to return something if it didn’t work out, especially a gift.
