Came here on March 9, 2021 4:30pm and it appeared that the young man behind the counter was bothered by our visit. Customer service was less than friendly. I always say if you dont want to work here then quit. I dont know who did him wrong but dont take it out on the customers. At the very least fake a smile. The dessert was tasty and looked pretty. We even said thank you and the usual Youre Welcome was not given. This dude needs to be trained on customer service.

Friendly staff, nerdy decor, spacious, and wide variety of drinks to enjoy! Would definitely recommend anyone to try them out. My only critique would be the lack of music and seemingly bland taste or rough texture in some of the drinks and jelly. I had the taro milk tea and it was slightly watered down, but Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they put too much ice. As for the coffee jelly I had with my mocha milk tea, it was very tasty, however the texture was too hard. Jelly needs to be easy to slurp and chew. Big props to them being generous with the jelly and tapioca! About quarter or more of my glass was filled with jelly/tapioca~ 💖

The regular size is bigger than you would think. The ice is very light and fluffy and Very different from traditional shaved ice. The strawberry flavor has a light flavor, not powerful. The milk flavor tastes just like ice cream.

This was my second time going, first time was around when they first opened, it wasnt great but I just assumed it was new business jitters. Went again not really impressed, it was so sloppily made. Noticed there was no hand sanitizer anywhere, and the bathrooms didnt have soap or paper towels. It felt kinda gross using the pens/highlighters/ with no way of cleaning my hands.

Not even worth any star! Came here at 12:15pm when the sign says hours are 12-10pm. Door was locked and an employee showed up 5 mins later talking on his phone and went into the store but locked the door right away while we were standing by the door. We tried opening it but it is LOCKED; so we decided to leave. If you can’t open at 12pm, please change the sign! And if you don’t want any business, please close the store! Never seen such a bad business in San Antonio and never write such a bad review!

I actually like this place but today(6/23 6pm) my friend and I went in to get drinks, I ordered Taro milk tea with boba. The lady behind the counter told me that Taro is not available, dang, Ill get the thai iced coffee... they didnt have that either so I settled on a Lychee slush. The slush was still tasty however about 20 minutes into chilling out with my friend, a girl walks up, orders a taro milk tea with boba... and then makes it.TL;DR: Girl behind the counter told me they were out of somehing and served the thing she said they didnt have to the next person that came in 20 minutes later.

Taro milk tea and banana strawberry smoothie tasted great! Major downfall, customer service was extremely poor. Young man seemed bothered by having to get up from sitting at his table to taking my order. I had to be the one greet him, and no reply back. Poor Customer service reflects bad on the company. Mind you I was the only customer in the entire place and no welcome.

Throw in some Asian zing to a light and subtly sweet dessert and you have a perf mix up! Another great addition to the growing local diversity of dessert joints in San Antonio. Thinly shaved ice with all sorts of flavors and then choose your toppings and sauce. I got the taro flavored shaved ice with red bean and tapioca toppings. I also got to taste the mango shaved ice with chamoy sauce. It was gooooooot and love the toppings. Its a cute place decorated with cartoons and they also promote local artists and their drawings. They have many drinks to choose from like shakes and smoothies all with tapioca options. If youre looking for not so overly sweet dessert and a twist to your normal shake and smoothie, I would definitely try this place.

I ordered a large condensed milk snow cup with strawberries and chocolate syrup. They were out of wafers and peanuts. This particular snow flavor was just a base to hold the toppings. Very fun atmosphere and a good selection of options for customization! The texture of the snow was very surprising but equally delightful (I was craving a light but sweet flavor and the milk tea snow hit the spot!), and I hope to go back soon to try their boba selection!! The regular serving of snow (their smallest size, since I eat like a bird) was MUCH larger than I expected though--definitely not a complaint, but Id say to make sure you come with an empty stomach (or a friend!) ready to gorge on sweet snow!

I strongly suggest either new workers or changing the times on google. If it says 10 pm is the closing time, why stop serving 30 minutes before your closing time to clean? Shouldnt the closing time be 9:30 pm then? If your employees dont want to work, then you should consider hiring new ones that want to work until closing times that are posted. I even understand 10 minutes before to do cleaning but not a whole 30 minutes. Do the employees not clean during their shift? Do they just wait until the end of their shift to clean everything? I drive by this place everyday and there isnt any cars outside of this place. During this time where people have lost their jobs and need to still make ends meet, i know plenty of people that would like to work and relieve those that take their work for granted. Very disappointed in this place.

I really like this place a lot. On top of that I am not one to leave reviews especially bad ones. When the whole Covid thing started I saw they were open through google, so I called to check and no one answered. So I decided to drive over there thinking maybe they are busy, turned out they were closed. So the young man saw me outside and stated they were closed, then I told him they should really update their hours on google. Ill start off by saying I really do enjoy this its my go to bubble tea place. Its clean. The bubble opinions are great including the ability to adjusting sweetness levels. They offer a punch card to earn a free drink, theyre open late, and have some interesting art for sale. However, the service is often slow (waited 20 min for bubble tea on a Monday at 430pm) and never friendly. Its mostly young apathetic college kids who act like theyre doing you a favor by even taking your order. Only once did I have a pleasant interaction with someone (maybe the owner? as he was not wearing a Snopioca uniform tee). Clearly this doesnt stop me from coming back, its just off -putting. Overall you should check this place out if you like bubble tea. I have never tried theyre shaved ice but it seems popular as well.

In visiting the area, was driving back from Austin to San Antonio late last night when my friend mentioned she was craving something sweet. In doing a Google search, Snopioca looked to be the closest option that was still open. We arrived with 10 minutes to spare to an empty facility save an employee at the counter, only be told that they stopped serving at this time of night. Perhaps they could modify their posted hours to minimize confusion, or wash all serving spoons, reserving one or two for stragglers. So many options to provide customer service, alas we were sent away empty handed....

Shop was clean. The people behind the counter were nice for the small talk we had. I came in with my sisters and cousins after a late lunch. Being from Houston, we expected the shaved ice to be or at least taste like real fruit. Instead, we got neon-colored and artificial-tasting piles of ice/snow. We chose 2 different bowls of honeydew and mango, so maybe those were the flavors that didnt use fresh fruits. They were overly sweet, and that was without the condensed milk.It seems like a good hangout spot with board games and plenty of outlets, but for not for the shaved snow/ice that seems to be one of their main draws.

In the beginning 5 months of 2016, I traveled all over Asia and tried all kinds of desserts. One of my favorites was definitely snow ice. So when I returned, I thought I had to go to Houston or Austin to get this dessert. And Ive had snow ice places from both cities and neither of them compare to the snow ice I had while abroad. I was at Snopioca during opening day and I was expecting it to just be similar to the Austin and Houston places, however, it was so much better. I tried the honey dew and the mango snow ice and both were extremely flavorful and tasted like actual fruit and not like artificial sugar. Props to Snopioca for being the first to bring snow ice to San Antonio!
