My first time at this restaurant. My son and I stopped in the morning for some breakfast tacos. We had chorizo and egg and bacon and egg. They were very good. Looking forward to stopping by again.

This is not fine dining, it is hole in the wall local dining. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS, The service is good. Brush up on your Spanish little English is spoken. Best of all VERY affordable

Came for the breakfast and they had a $2.99 Huevos Rancheros plate.The value was great and the food was hot.The waitress was on her game and very attentive to refills and anything else that was needed.Thats the good.The bad...Well the restaurant was super cold and they were adjusting the temperature periodically.But, it wasnt effective because it should have been set last nigh.So yes, I can and was wearing a jacket however, the issue was, the place was cold, which in turn made the tables cold, and this made me hurry up and eat my food at a quicker pace.I ordered the Huevos Rancheros well done, and they were.I ordered the machacado taco on the side and it was fresh and hot so I ate that first to avoid it getting cold.The eggs cooled down quick and the beans just got cold.The flour tortillas wrapped in aluminum got cold quick also.The papas stayed warm, and the coffee too because they kept refilling it.Overall, 3 stars out of 5.

Waitress was nice. Place is clean. I guess the prices are ok. For 4 tacos an enchilada plate and 3 drinks $25 not including $5 tip for the Waitress. I do love that they are the only real Mexican restaurant open late 😋

Huge hot delicious and very reasonable price tacos! Exelleant table service, very clean. There is a cleaning lady walking and cleaning. I loved it. Dont buy the sweet bread they want $3.65 for a pack of 3 pieces of sweet bread NO!

The food was always good however the staff has been lacking in professionalism. Also, they DONT follow Covid safety protocols. Masks nope. Sanitize nope. We asked the owner about this and she said that theres nothing to worry about. We stopped going.

Great break tacos! Finally found a great place to grab breakfast tacos for cheap ! Al’s grabbed empanadas de cajeta they were great as well.

I really enjoyed my visit at Yatzil. It was a good size group of us and they were able to accommodate all of us very quickly. Love the chips and salsa (green and red) the tea was great too. We got our order in a fairly reasonable amount of time for the size of the group. The waitress was very attentive and did a good job handling the group by herself. As food the food i didnt think it was great but i was good, everyone enjoyed there meals.

I really enjoy the Carne Asada, the chicken enchiladas, the beef puffy tacos, and most of the plates served here...delicioso! Lemonade is also 👌 pretty good & doesnt taste fake. Its small but the food makes up for any lack. Girls are pretty cool & wont try to flirt with your guys. Makes for a peaceful feast. The desserts are great.👍🏻😁 So worth that doggie bag.🎒 Its a nice family friendly atmosphere 😊You can even watch your novels.😃 while drinking a brew. ✌

Had Chicken Flautas flautas were hot but the chicken was dried dark over cooked, the beans had good flavor and the rice wasnt sticky server was attentive but I thought the kitchen could have done better

I ordered 2 barbacoa tacos. They were as if the meat was not checked for chunks of fat, not good. The flour tortilla needs improvement while the corn was on point. Not too certain if Ill return.

Food was good and tea tasted great... Enchiladas were supposed to have chicken and they didnt a bit disappointed.. But the rice was good so it made up for it...

The food is ok. The service is terrible. The whole place is a mess. Waitresses dont know how to handle a full house. High attitude and gossip. They were speaking bad about me. They were talkin bad about me n lookin my way n laughing. They didnt know im fluent in Spanish. I took it little to the grain. Not to mention a small hair in my sons taco.

Im very surprised at the reviews this place has, I expected awesome tasting food. The food is just okay. I did not try their home made tortillas though. We had picadillo nachos which were full of meat but could taste the oil they were cooked in; not very fresh. The cheese burger and fries were okay. And the mini tacos were okay, I wish Id ordered something else. Their chips and salsa were really good and so was the green salsa; as well as the sweet tea (those get 5 stars). The service was good at first, after we got our food it took a while for the waitress to come around again. I love going to small restaurants with GREAT food, this is not one.

Waitresses are rude and brought my boyfriend the wrong drink insisting thats what he asked for. After twenty minutes we had to remind her to bring him the correct drink. They take it upon themselves to add the tip to the receipt even if we choose not to leave one.

Wow, I miss this place. Was working for the Census and our office was right down the street. Tried this place and never really tried another restaurant in that area (except for maybe Kongs which is Chinese). Lunch specials come with tea and vary by day. So whether you want a mexican plate, fried fish & shrimp, fideo loco, mole, enchiladas or crispy tacos, this is where you wanna go!

(Yatzil special) its Scrambled eggs with there sausage guesado. Breakfast plate. Off the hook!

Food was good but Ive had better there before. And the waitresses are nice but dont directly speak to you...I was ignored by her the 3x she checked on us which I cant deny her service skills were on point. No mess up, food was hot when delivered. Maybe speaking a lil more english would help with the awkwardness of miscommunication. Especially when Im head of the table and paying. But overall its a casual laid back spot Id go for lunch or a quick bite again.
