I stopped by at 9:15 am on a Tuesday. Thankfully, the line was short, and there were plenty of donuts to choose from. Aside from the large variety of donuts, there were kolaches and fruit danish as well. I ordered a chocolate frosted donut, jalapeno sausage and cheese kolache, and a cream cheese danish. The server warmed everything up for me, and the price was very reasonable. Lastly, they had a drink refrigerator on the left when you first walk in with plenty of drinks. I even saw some organic and kid options too. I highly recommend you check this place out when you are trying to satisfy a sweet tooth!

Hands down I only shop here for donuts and kolaches. I dont mess with any other donut shops in town, even if there a line all the way down Bulverde and all 6 parking spots are taken I park in front of Pizza Hut and run across the way just to grab some breakfast for my family on a Sunday morning!! Its always fresh, the folks are always really nice and Ive tried everything in their case at least once and wow, its just *chefs kiss* I love you Grand Donuts xoxo

Just went this morning for the 1st time. I loved it! The staff was very polite and welcoming. They also have a drive thru. Here are my pictures from my 1st visit and cost was about 23$. Look at the size of the bacon egg&cheese. So I got a total of 14 different pastries and 4 tacos. Well worth it! The BEAR CLAWS ARE AWESOME 😍😍😍

There donuts are amazing every time you go. There a small spot with so much variety. The staff is very friendly and quick but in the mornings get ready to wait the line does get long but they help you as fast as possible. There donut holes are just scrumptious simple but always so delicious.

Why people think this place is so great is beyond my understanding. I rate them as Nothing to write home about . . . however, a step above the garbage currently being peddled as donuts by the big chain stores of Dunkin and Krispy Kreme and Shipleys. There is nothing five-star, in my opinion, about the donuts -- as they are rather typical. My wife said shed give them 2.5 stars, I decided to give them 3-stars. Would I go back -- well, no, for a couple of reasons: #1 - Mediocre donuts; and #2 - When I showed up at the store, I was greeted by the pungent and powerful odor of Pinesol -- they were cleaning the floors. I was at first concerned the aroma would taint the donuts.

I was going to stop by Dunkin’ Donuts this morning to satisfy a donut craving. I saw Grand Donut the other day while driving toward TPC. I thought, “Why not?” Boy, I am glad I did. Their donuts were delicious! The Long John was so fresh I could feel the heat through my bag. Also, the donut was bursting with Boston Creme. They were not stingy like most places. I will visit Grand Donuts again soon!

Came here while on vacation. I tried a chocolate cake doughnut with nuts and a glazed. The cake doughnut was just average but the glazed doughnut was excellent!

There is always a smiling associate behind the counter and hot fresh donuts hitting the shelf. They are the closest to perfection Ive had since leaving Europe. Go early because they sell out of my favorites early. Not looking for a fresh donut.... not to worry there are sausage and bacon breakfast tacos and croissants laying beside delicious kolaches! Yum

Grand Donuts is my local go to Donut Shop 🍩 every time I need Donuts or Kolaches. I recommend getting the Sausage, Jalapeño, and Cheese Kolach. Not only is the food really good but all the kids that work there provide really good customer service. Much better than Dunkin Donuts and Shipley Do-Nuts

Took my son there for his birthday donut and will not return. The two girls working could not have been more rude. They couldnt get us out of there fast enough. Instead of letting us order all that we wanted, they kept trying to give us our total upon every selection. I believe in supporting small local businesses but not this one. The donuts and sandwiches were not good. they dont even deserve one star.

If you want to get on your coworkers good side this is the way to do it! The place was very busy but it didnt take away from the level of service. I bought an assortment of donuts that were just coming out of the oven. These were a real hit at my office and I was the MVP at least for the day. The maple bacon donut was a standout favorite but they were all gone by noon so that speaks for itself.

Love the apple fritters. Or at least they were really good. The last 2 times I made a trip into town to get some apple fritters they were not as good as previously stated. They are soggy & fell apart when I tried to pick them up to place them on a platter to serve them. Havent been back for just over a year, & I doubt I will be going back.

Oh my... yum! I finally checked out this donut shop today and not only did they have blueberry cake donuts (my favorite and so hard to find) the donuts were really tasty. They were moist and not the least bit dry. I will definitely be going again.

Only bought 2 items through the drive thru. Apple fritter and a jelly dounut were delicious. The only complaint I have is that they charge you 25 cents more when you pay with plastic and its under $4.

New to San Antonio area. A friend introduced me to this donut shop. Best chocolate glazed I have ever had. Better than Southern Maid donuts if anyone knows about them. I have tried about four other donut places around San Antonio but none could match this place. Friendly service. Just be sure to get there early if you dont want to miss out on your favorites!

I used to have to drive 30 to 40 minutes to go to Fredericksburg road to get some donuts and apple fritters from the Original donut shop. Now I found this Mom and Pop donut shop that makes the donuts just as good and the apple fritters are even better! The owners are very nice and friendly good people. I cant believe I waited so long to try them and Im glad I finally did. They definitely have another regular customer. Absolutely fantastic!Update: LMAO @ the Jaynes review with 2 stars, what a joke!! What would you expect them to have close to closing when they make the donuts fresh daily! New fresh ones just for you? Donuts were good, but dissapointed with the tacos and crossaints. They were not made fresh or kept on a heater. They were shrink wrapped with the option to heat in a microwave.

Hands down the best doughnut shop in the city. If you saw my waistline you would know I speak from experience. My wife and I no longer live close but still make the trek every once in a while to enter into a carb coma. The doughnut holes are amazing. Based on my experience I would say they are not affiliated with the shops with a similar name but no S at the end.
