Came in to get 2 lamps repaired, probably stayed for an hour chatting with the owner! GORGEOUS interior and friendly people. Told me they’d call back with a quote and I received a message 2 days later, with a very reasonable price! Less than $50 to rewire both lamps! Note: they can turn almost anything into a lamp, if you so desire. Will be returning with antique store finds that need a little help. Also - the owner displays wonderful local art for sale, modern and quite low prices for fine art. Closed Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. Offers appointments outside store hours.

After searching for a lamp repair shop, I came upon St. James Lamps. I located them on the Internet They are located on NW Military Drive, not too far from where I live. In a nutshell, they surpassed my expectations! They were friendly and professional, and detail-oriented. They covered the bases when explaining the options, how long it would take for the repair, etc. They completely re-wired my old kitchen hanging lamp, and did a wonderful job of sorting out the complicated wiring, not an easy job! Even though they ran into extra charges due to the bad wiring the lamp had, they still finished the repair in less time than promised. Nicole, the nice lady in charge and her staff were all friendly and helpful. We also picked out a nice glass topper for a lamp that my wife found in a thrift store, and it was perfect. Were really happy for the service we received and we highly recommend this shop if youre looking for a competent lamp repair place, and they offer other things as repair.

I would give 0 stars if that were an option, would be more appropriate for the service I received, which was 0. Walked in with a large lamp that needed repair. Stood in the store while two employees clearly saw me but didnt acknowledge my presence. One employee was only a few yards away, with a customer, and could have easily said someone will be with you in a minute or something similar, but said nothing. The other employee was not with a customer, was moving display items on a table, and also saw but ignored me. After standing there 5 minutes, feeling completely invisible, I walked out. Will certainly never return.

This place has made a comeback ! Beautiful store, something in everyones budget, lovely staff. Very elegant and sophisticated. I will be returning ! 👍

When i called i was told sure, bring your item in. i drive across town only to be told it would take a week just to look at it and call me with a quote. and the same woman i spoke with on the phone says, we are really backed up at this time. well thanks for nothing!! couldve saved me a trip by saying that on the phone! horrible!!
