Awesome experience! It’s rare to watch true masters work at their craft, but they make something very difficult look very easy. We had kids 6 to 13 and they were all very engaged the whole time. They were very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. We were afraid it might be a bit warm in the shop, but there was a nice breeze through the shop and they set up fans to make sure we were comfortable. It was a hot July day with blast furnaces going, but we didn’t break a sweat. We will definitely be back.

We did the Make Your Own Ornament Class and had a blast! So much fun and such a unique experience. On top of that, the pieces they have for purchase are beyond amazing. Such a talented crew and everyone was super nice. Will be back!

This is an amazing family-owned gallery and studio. We visited and watched a magnificent demonstration of glass blowing. It was great seeing how well each artist worked together to make a large showpiece. Each person knew exactly where to be and when.

I took my niece for her 10th Birthday to the “Make Your Own Ornament” workshop and the whole team were so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. They took time to explain every step of the glassblowing process to us as we both got to blow our own glass Christmas ornaments. From the staff to the artists, everyone made this a great experience. I would 100% recommend the experience of one of the Garcia Art Glass glassblowing workshops! Thanks to the team!!

I attended the Ornament Glass blowing class and it was outstanding!! The instructor was very patient with me and, of course, made it look easy. I recommend this class highly for anyone interested in glass blowing. I want to take it again before Christmas!!

Had a wonderful hands on experience blowing a glass ornament with the help of a master glass blower. Gera helped me he was very extremely patient and encouraging. And the ornament we made was beautiful!

Showed up at 10 for the 10:15 tour and good thing we did because they had already started. No one checked that we had paid, we just kind of joined the group. Its a tight-knit shop of glass blowers and I get the feeling they dont worry too much about that kind of thing.In any case, the demonstration was awesome. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I had such a great time making Christmas ornaments! Garcias showed us how to hold the pole (hot out of the kiln) and roll the starter glass in our selected colors. We rolled the pole while the experts dripped on the molten striping color, and then we blew the air into the glass making the ornament! Then knocked it off the pole and it was transferred to the annealer, and well pick the ornaments early this week. THANK YOU, GARCIAS ART GLASS, for this hands-on opportunity😃

They host a blow your own ornament class and its was very hands on, not just stand by while they make it. Really fun, great atmosphere, nice family run shop!

We stumbled into Garcia art on a walk. A demonstration was about to begin and we decided to watch. Watching the artisans take glass from a lump of molted glass to an exquisite vase was amazing. 3 generations work in this lovely space. Stop by, watch and take home some of their fabulous creations.

The amount of knowledge and experience really shows through the amazing work that comes out of this studio. The staff and artists are the absolute best of the best. Great people. Great vibes. Definitely a must visit

Very entertaining for the kids to watch the glass blowers work. Its just a short distance from the Alamo and everyone there loves to show off the workshop.
