Horrible customer service. No one asked if we needed help, no one ask did we have any questions, no one even smiled and said hello how are you all today. Well, one guy did speak to us and crickets after that. Not trying to say race had anything to do with it, but as the only African Americans in the store I am left with this thought. I guess they thought we couldnt afford anything, but truth is we were ready to make a purchase that day. I despise bad customer service. I have already told my friends do not go there. If I could give zero stars I would. Do better people, I hope the management reads this and makes all employees go through customer service training. Thank you

I have to agree with the poor customer service! A gentleman helped me and acted like it was a great burden the entire time. I asked him if they were having a sale and he acted so annoyed that he would have to go check. His tone was very annoyed and rude, did not make me want to buy anything! Finally, a very kind lady came to help us and it was a much better experience. However, I’ve gone in twice and 2 of the 3 people that helped us acted so incredibly annoyed. Very sad, a smile and friendly attitude would make the experience so much better!

Odd store closure time, 4pm. Showed up at 3:57 not aware of closer time. Older man with white hair walks out informing us the store is closing. I asked when, response “within 1 min”. Knowing it’s 3 mins we are stunned and look at each other on the stairs. He says “if you hurry up you can come in but don’t be long”. I understand no one wants to work later than they should. He walks back in and stands right behind the door, staring at us as we walk up. He doesn’t open the door but stands directly to the side of it, it was strange and slightly unsettling. We speed walk the floor, leave within 2 mins and on our way out a nice young lady asked if we needed help. Thank you for that.Employees like the gentleman present a company that doesn’t care if you purchase from them or not. It is simply off putting.

Fabulous lighting selection. We were looking for a specific type of floor lamp, which they did not have in stock. They were happy to order from their catalog, but they also referred us to another lighting store in San Antonio they knew had a larger selection in stock of the tote of lamp we were searching for. Very nice experience! We will return!

The hours seem to have changed from their opening and they have Saturday hours now so I stopped in to look around. This place has some very nice quality lighting options and also a price guarantee at the entry. I was impressed with the store and would recommend any potential lightning seekers to take a look.

This was my initial visit to Lighting Inc. And although I did not make a purchase something very interesting stood out to me. I was not approached once throughout my visit WHICH I ACTUALLY ENJOYED. I didnt feel ignored, i was acknowledged but I am that type of shopper. I was able to digest the beautiful and wide variety of lighting they had to offer. And I WILL be back to purchase a light.

Amazing service. Staff knows their products well and there are so many choices. Better than a box store and you can’t really appreciate photos from the internet. Got a perfect closet chandelier for $300. So less than the $500 minimum of another review. And YES!!!! Epic large chandelier options.

There is a large selection of lighting and prices ranging from $500 to $10,000. The customer service, however, is non-existent. When we went, there were 5 people working sitting at desks. Not one person smiled, made eye contact, said, Hello or even acknowledged we were there. Not a great shopping experience.

Confused staff!! We asked for a chandelier that was on sale, one of the sales rep said it was sold but there was no tag, when I asked again they kept looking at each other without giving a definite answer, when we finally decided to buy it one of the sales rep called another rep who was not in store and came back to us and said this chandelier was sold but we don’t have a tag.. they wasted 30 mins of our time just confirming if it was sold or not ..

1) The rep wrote down the wrong items so we received all of our kitchen items wrong2) We hardly liked anything in their showroom, so we spent hours looking through catalogs and online3) We found our replacement items for the kitchen on an online company, and saved a tad over $1,000 by ordering from an online retailer vs lighting Inc. We should’ve done that all along.4) We found Lighting Inc on our own, yet when we asked for our itemized invoices, they told us to go through our builder. They cared more about pleasing our builder than us because they’ll get more business out of them instead us.Listen, brick & mortar retailers are all going away. The only way I’d pay more for something at a retail store, is if the service was great. This service was awful. Wayfair & Amazon will put them out of business soon. Trust me. STAY AWAY

Horrendous customer service. I just walked by 7 employees and not a single person acknowledged my existence. One made eye contact with me as I walked in the door and just walked by me! I wouldn’t give them a dime of my money.
