Our experiences with the Chair King Backyard Store have been wonderful in all ways. They have a great selection of yard furniture, and the personnel in the store are friendly and helpful. We recently purchased a table and chairs for our new front patio. The delivery people were outstanding. They kept us advised of the status of the delivery, were gracious and professional. We plan to use Chair King for any future outside furniture needs!

My experience from the time I walked in was very welcoming Ma. Dora was very professionally not to pushy and really had patience along with her store manager with us bc we changed our minds twice on the furniture we purchased and they made the transition very easy, it’s great place to buy your backyard furniture and we will purchase again from there but I hope no time soon bc we got a very nice sturdy beautiful set that I hope last a while lol thanks again Dora at the Dezaval and I-10 location in Texas great job 👏🏽

Wayne at the Dezavala location was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He was willing to move furniture around so I could see how different sets looked together and worked with me to get the best price possible. Highly recommend!

Chris greeted us when we entered the store, listened to our needs and showed us the inventory that fit what we wanted. He was very knowledgeable of the styles and helped us pick the one that was perfect for us. We received a quote and left to explore other options. A week later we returned to Chair King to purchase our new patio furniture. Once again, Chris was most helpful and we breezed through the process. We are now waiting for a late February/early March delivery.P.S. Our last set (Malin/sling) was purchased from Chair King 26 years ago and has lasted with only minor repairs. It is still in decent shape and our granddaughter will now be using it in her first home.

Good quality and selection of outdoor furniture. The customer service is good. However, Im giving 4 stars because they promote an external Guardsman extended warranty service which seems like a scam. While they pay lip service to excellent coverage, closely reading the contract and reviews shows they exclude almost everything. I think a little less of chair king for promoting this, although to be fair they give you time to look into it and dont pressure you if you dont agree immediately. I strongly recommend looking into the warranty before purchasing. Again, that is an external service you dont have to buy. The store has friendly, helpful, non-overbearing staff and good quality furniture of which I bought a fair amount. I would give 5 stars if they had better warranties.

I dont often leave positive feedback.....but this was great service! Greeted nicely yesterday as I walked in with wife and 3 year old. I was checked in on enough to know if I needed help they were there....but never pressured. I spoke with Wayne when I felt I had narrowed down my selection, he quickly answered my questions and set me up with shipping dates. Wayne called me the next day to throw in some add-ons and let me know I qualified for a free gift (a dome heater I was separately shopping!!!). Amazing timing, thanks for the follow-up, highly recommend Chair King!

Dora has always been very helpful when it came to choosing furniture for my small outdoor apartment patio. Having a small patio can be difficult, but Dora took the time to walk me through the store and recommend pieces of furniture that fit and look great on my small patio. If you need help furnishing your patios, Dora is the person to talk to.

Dora helped my husband & I get an outside umbrella and stand for our patio. She helped with picking out the color and matching stand. She was very pleasant and informative. I had a great experience in your store and well be back.

Went during the labour day sale. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the store is very clean and organised. Greeted at the door and offered the space to shop as needed but quickly attended when we were ready to purchase. Employees went above and beyond to get up set up with our peices- one of the best customer service. We picked out our patio furniture and got it loaded up and taken care same day. Would highly recommend.

A very wide selection however, overpriced with an array of “discounts” . It appears all is made outside the USA which would be okay if it were reasonably priced.

Update to this review: I am rescinding my previous review and will now give them a 1 star. Today is June 10, 2021 and my merchandise still has not been received. Customer Service is non existent. I have called the store and gotten little to no information on when I can expect it. It was initially scheduled to arrive early May, then June, then August.. I do understand problems related to the Pandemic, but at least keep the customer informed and maybe offer some other options for items that are available.The store manager will not return my calls even after repeatedly stating he would check on my order and give me an update. He states he must call the corporate office for information. Throughout the waiting time, no communication has been initiated by Chair King. I have gotten information only after calling them. The store manager appears not to care now that he has gotten his sales commission.Today, I called the corporate office customer service and filed a complaint. They stated the store has access to all information and has no reason to call them.All I want is a refund; however, Chair King tried to ensure I didn’t get that by indicating sale was “Final” even if I never get my merchandise. I suppose they can say it is delayed forever.. I will never, ever again do business with Chair King.We just purchased a beautiful patio seating set from Chair King. Part of the reason we did is because of the excellent customer service we received. Serv did his best to stay within our stated budget, did not pressure us, and provided all requested information so that we could ensure this set met our specific requirements. Our set will be delayed, which is no problem for us, but Serv was apologetic and allowed us time to consider if we wanted to continue with the purchase. This store has beautiful, high quality furniture and we will certainly come back in the future. We highly recommend Chair King!

We walked into the Chair King and was immediately greeted and asked what we wanted. After giving us some information the salesman had us look around on our own without feeling pressured or sold on something. Our salesman came to check on us a couple of times and answered any questions we had. We found what we came for and purchased it. Chair King is a good company, good selection and fair prices.

Bought over 25k worth of furniture.. the fire pit does not work.. never turned it on when I bought it since it wasnt cold yet. Now Im asking to exchange it and Wayne (the sales rep) is giving me the run around.. Chris and the manager were rude not to even give me a call after they promised to do that last Saturday.. frustrated and now they will never get a referral

This place has a better selection of outdoor patio furniture than Amazon, and every bit of it is quality. Really enjoyed browsing through the inventory. The salespersons were professional and let me browse without hovering. I enjoyed my experience at this store.

I browsed around on a Saturday, asked a few questions about durability and sustainability considering our Texas heat and then left the store after taking photos of the sets I felt would work well for my family.My husband and I returned the following day and I was immediately greeted by Chris who recognized me from the day prior. Again, no pressure sales. We picked what we liked and were quoted a price. It was a little more than what we were willing to spend but felt the quality was well worth it.Our furniture is scheduled to be shipped in a week and I sure can’t wait to see it on my deck!

This.place has a lot of items for the back yard. The reason I went is for the sale on the Big Green Egg ND Komado grill. The staff was very helpful and I had a positive shopping experience. Great service; good prices!I came home after being out of town for a week to see an entire dining room and leisure set on my back patio, courtesy of my wife. We had been looking at different sets at Family Leisure but were never compelled to purchase (i.e. price wasnt right, service rep never really that enthused, etc.). That is until she tried Chair King. The rep she worked with was patient and easy to work with and worked with her on the price to where we ended up getting overall better quality furniture at a lower price than the competition.So when I heard that (and saw the receipt), I congratulated AND thanked my wife on getting us such a good deal and saving me the hassle of having to deal with all that. I havent set foot in the store...but based on the deal we got and the service they gave my wife...theyre 5 stars in my book!

I have been a customer for over 20 years and have spent nearly $30,000 on patio furniture from the DeZavala location. It pains me to post that I reported an issue with three sling back bar stools I purchased that are still under warranty. I was told they would be repaired or replaced. Its been three months since I reported the issue and have heard NOTHING. NOTHING. And I used to think Chair King was an outstanding company.Update: My faith is restored somewhat. I was contacted today and told they are working with the manufacturer to repair the broken parts. Well see.Update: Six months later they finally replaced the broken chairs. One hitch, we had to return and pickup the new chairs or pay a delivery fee. They came unassembled when we picked them up. Fingers crossed we will have no issues with assembly.Up to three stars now but no higher because thats horrible customer service overall, especially considering how long weve been a customer and how much we have spent there.
