It’s one of the busiest store in tanforan shopping center. You get nice baby items here. Very less collection for male. And it’s difficult to carry cart to parking space. Overall good store.

Girl was very friendly and quick! Had to use Tanforan as pick up when Colma was closer. But didnt mind.

This target is really big and well stocked with all the essentials. the tanforan mall has really gone downhill though over the years. honestly this target is probablythe only thing keeping it afloat. the parking lot can get super busy and there are sometimes shady characters hanging out at the entrance.

The baby could have fallen OFF the edge!! I shop here a lot. Sometimes you cant make that trip to Costco, Sprouts, WFM, or Walmart so its nice to have a nearby Target for your shopping needs. One heads up though for my fellow shoppers. Make sure to check your food items in the frozen food section, particularly their burritos. Sometimes I buy in bulk and while there shopping I purchased several burritos from Target a few weeks ago and noticed that many of the burritos thats supposed to be in sealed packages, were open and unsealed. Absolutely unacceptable. But since I got em in bulk, didnt notice. Im sure it was a mistake.That said, be cognizant while shopping for food items that are supposed to be sealed upon purchase. Other than that, theyre a fine store to shop at. I like Target and I highly recommend them.

Five stars for team lead Kyle, not for the actual Target store itself... It is amazing what one motivated, intelligent individual can do for the customer experience at a behemoth like Target. As a retail business owner myself, I recognize talent when I see it, and if I could hire Kyle I would. Target: I hope you have this guy on your radar, if he doesnt move up with you he will move up with someone else.My actual story doesnt really matter, but the short version is when other employees assured me they did not have what I was looking for, Kyle didnt take the easy way out, and instead found the secret pallet in one of the store rooms. Instead of buying one item I bought all 16.

I ordered a number of items. Only later when I checked on the status did I learn that one item, a set of full size sheets, was sold out. Needless to say I was disappointed.The good news is that I have become extremely dependent on Amazon. Shopping at Target with the option to pick up my purchases in hours is a great alternative. The prices are comparable to what is available on Amazon.

I want to give a shout out to Daniel in the Baby Dept. Hopefully I have the right name but I know they were wearing glasses. Anyway I went to Target there in the morning to look for a figure because I was given info by another Target they had in stock. It turns out that info was not accurate and Daniel helped me twice and told me that they did not have it in stock and I was told by a manager that they indeed did not have it. I would like to apologize to Daniel if I was rude, so want to also thank them for their patience and assisting me. Also Thank you to the young man who helped me downstairs it was the front end manager but did not get their name.

Store: 1150 El Camino Real, San Bruno, CA 94066I had come in the other day to pick up a few essentials and decided to pop by the action figure aisle to see if there was anything that I needed as I do collect adult collectables. Surprisingly they had 2 of the new Flashpoint Batman figures from McFarlane toys. I snagged one and headed to the checkout stand. When I tried to ring myself up it required a store employee to verify something about my transaction, and they told me that the figure was street dated for the next morning and I wasn’t allowed to purchase it. I pointed out that it was on the pegs, and so if it’s on the sales floor, then it should be for sale since that’s how retail works. I also pointed out that since there was 2 out there, that there is no way they only come 2 in a case since this figure was a target exclusive it would come cased by itself and so other people must’ve been able to purchase the other figures. I spoke with the manager and he refused to allow me to purchase the item. He wouldn’t do a manual override, he wouldn’t ring it up as a similarly priced item, No holds, no nothing, just “Come back tomorrow and hopefully we still have some.”I can understand having to stick to a street date, but if you stock products prematurely that is your mistake, not the customers, and the customer should not be punished for your error. Instead of taking care of his customer and making the situation right, this manager instead ripped the figure from my hands like Mr.Burns taking candy from a baby. On top of that, I did come back the next day and guess what, they were all sold out. As where all of the surrounding Targets. The closest one I was able to find that had one in stock was Alameda. That’s quite the pain in the ass to make the trek all the way to Alameda just to purchase something this ungrateful manager refused to sell me the day before. In retail you always put your customers first, without them you don’t have a business. Someone needs to remind the people running this store what customer service means since obviously they have no clue.

Target is constantly doing this to me as of late, today at Tanforan. Another pickup gone wrong. I spend 90 or so minutes on a busy day searching for an item I need asap relatively close to home. My home is at Skyline/JS so Westlake is out of anything beyond basics, that’s ok. Serramonte out, Colma, out, Tanforan...:1 left, Awesome, Ill have what I need tonight for tomorrow! Wait, what, Email 5 hours later, we’re sorry but turns out we don’t have that.....Target, your inventory absolutely stinks & minimal order pickups are IMPOSSIBLE. I give up. This happens probably every 3 orders. The 💰your losing unfulfilling orders could be spent hiring an Inventory Rep.

When I got to my car and started loading the trunk I saw that the dog food I got was open and it was stinky. When I went back inside to get an exchange the lady took my receipt and I explained it was open and before I could say anything else she refunded me and I told her that’s not what I wanted . I still want the dog food but I want a new one.and she said well I already did it and I’m not going to go back to change it to a refund because a Refund takes too long. If you want it you can go get the new dog food and get back in line at the register .I was not very happy with that so I left without the dog food.

Rather small selections compared to other targets. We also had several homeless in front of the store begging for money. The Advil booth at the entrance for college wellness was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. America. How did you get this far?

Horrible experience. During the Covid pandemic, as I’m feeling sick and picking up items that include Tylenol, manager, Ashley Greene, said that I should go in to get the items that they didn’t add to my pick up order. They do not care about their customers safety or their employees. The items say In Stock online, but they didn’t add to my order, they did not check on my order, they simply said they preferred me to go in, “browse around for my item and pay when you pick up your order”Horrible customer service. In a time like this, it’s simply horrible if this is truly Target’s policy! No care for their customers or employees health.

Item I purchased charged wrong price at self check. I advised associate, he verified price with his device same price was confirmed. Went back to shelf, took photo of price displayed and showed associate. He advised to go to customer service. I was refunded the overcharged amount. My CONCERN is how many other customers were charged the WRONG PRICE in all of Targets Stores across the US for this item and how many other items are priced incorrectly in YOUR system.

Not even one star at all. Tried to called HR TONS of time none of them answering the phone at all. Had to call 3-6 times never once pick it up. Even though I had important thing to talk about. Wasn’t satisfied at all.

Convenient location and hours. They have many pickup order promotions, so be sure to check if your items are one of them. However, the promotion is not very widely available for many products, and the promoted products change from time to time. I was glad that I didnt order everything in one order because the other item I left in the cart had additional pickup order promotion when I ordered the next time! Nonetheless, the promotion is usually just few cents difference so youll have to decide if thats worth your time and gas mileage.

The buy online, pick up in store is wonderful. Tried it for 1st time & it took less than 5 minutes! Also having items shipped to my home is very easy & convenient. Arrive in 2 days approx . Also, great in store customer service.

Ever since the remodel, its much spacier and everything is neat and organized. All the employees are nice and give great customer service. I never had a bad experience at Tanforan Target. I know I can always find what I need at this Target and the way Im treated here makes the experience even better.

Love the new store layout of the separate online pick up, the welcoming and knowledgeable worker, and all the little details (only need last 4 digits of the order #, can see total updated order amount on the app, the self checkout experience). Yes, and pretty much the only place where you can replenish your yawn of a closet since last Christmas!And the bathing suits in colorful arrays make you wish even more, that we are ALL long overdue for whatever beautiful and tropic surprises in liquid, (Pinecoladas and Mai Tais) adults 21 and over), plus all you can eat vacation summertime happiness food, it brings!Can you hear it? The waves crashing onto sunny bright golden beach sands.....?Ok! You guessed it! I loooove Target, as do my friends and family members, and not just in last developing catastrophic event months;....but we ALWAYS have!Good ole dependable Target, pretty much 90% stocked on all of everyones needs!I got a new bathing suit, dinner for the whole family, toilet paper, and carried on with a smile, when exiting through Tanforan Targets doors!!!Excellent!!!!!

I just moved to the area and this was my second time visiting this Target. There was someone in the front to confirm I had a mask on and greeted me. Security was two rows away. As I began to pass the security guard, he immediately made a call on this radio. Since I’m unfamiliar with this Target, I walked over to the department/ floor list. He passed me there. I began to walk towards the section I need to go, he passed there. I saw him at the back of the store. I saw him down the aisles in the middle of the store. And once again at the front of the store as I was purchasing my items. I’d classify this as being racially profiled. Target, you need to fix this. I won’t be back to this Target again.

Well at the time I went shopping....I found many helpful employees that where willing to assist, instead of hiding with their heads down. I am about to have shoulder surgery so (I feel bad, that I didnt get the gentlemans name ), that had no problem to lift the microwave & placing it in my cart. But at the self check out, Victor was friendly, smiling, and when the cashing machine didnt give me my penny, Victor was more than appreciative in giving me what I had coming...this is why I shop at Target late at night.

The entrance to this place is odd. Sort of hidden behind the indoor parking garage. The garage is great but its the first target Ive seen where the Target sign is not easily seen. But it has everything that we needed for our trip.

This Target and Starbucks discriminates African American people and the cooperate office didn’t do anything about it.We are two students at SF State both African American and White and We are conducting a study on racism in today’s society. During the study I purchased a set of Starbucks cups from target in San Bruno. The Starbucks cups were not to my liking so I returned them. However the customer service department referred me to the Starbucks saying they couldn’t take the cups because they were Starbucks however I had my recite.So I went to the Starbucks which told me they couldn’t return them because they no longer sold them however I saw the cups I was returning on the display case.I then called the target cooperate office. They called the store manager but then told me there was nothing they could do and I needed to speak with the Leader On Duty.That’s when me and my partner switched roles and he went to return the cups. The customer service department gave him no problems at all and he was able to return the Starbucks cups at Target guest services.Is this discrimination?Is this racism?Do we have a case in small claims court?If so if there is any small claims court lawyers out there that wish to do a pro bono case for a couple of SF State students please contact me.

Good store, but improvement is needed. If you plan on buying furniture, be ready to wait until they find someone to help you carrying stuff to your car. Staff is nice and supportive, though.

The lady in the cosmetics (Neutrogena brand) is very helpful. And Raymond in the cashier lane is very nice. And the carry wheel discount helps a lot, too.

Estimated 4 hours to pick up took 6 minutes and it was ready. Now that’s fast service.

There are two main things to know about this Target. First: If you want to get in an out quickly, arrive early and opt for self checkout. Second: if youre looking to buy menswear, that section of the store is on the second floor - but the changing rooms are all on the first floor, so prepare for a few trips up and down the escalator. As someone who likes buying jeans and t-shirts at Target, trying to do so at this store is always a hassle.Also - if youre not interested in self-checkout, note that for about 20-30 minutes after opening, while most customers are still shopping, most of the employees are busily stocking shelves, having morning huddles, etc. In other words, theyre not working checkout lanes, so lines can sometimes form very quickly.After the morning hours, the store is pretty much packed all day, creating traffic jams in the aisles and lines at each register - most of which are always closed.

The return and exchanges department absolutely sucks. 3 women standing away from the register/counter in target uniforms were gabbing away while I waited for someone to show up behind the counter for 5 minutes. Turns out it was THEIR department. Sad.

They offer essential groceries at relatively low prices. They have dedicated gluten free section which is helpful. Its not that easy to find them if youre coming for the first time through the parking lot.

Always a great place to check out when you are in need of the everyday needs or just looking for a place to kill time.Their customer service is always great with an equally great selection of products to buy.You can always utilize their credit/debit card program to get 5% off and can further stretch your dollar by downloading their Cartwheel App and using Shopkick to get walk-in and scan products for points which can be exchanged for Target gift cards.

Very clean very well kept store. Everything is easy to find and staff is polite and friendly. Most departments are well kept a only problem is long lines at cashier other that no major issues.

Been to this Target a few times and havent had a bad experience. I love the fact that its a two story store! More exploring and deals to find! The stores pretty neat and organized. I havent had any negative experiences here.Definitely will come here again when Im in the area.

I like this store, always have a good time when shopping with friends, I had an issue with some coupons, but it was quickly resolved by the manager. I wish they had more grocery tho...that would a one trip doe it all!

Entire store feels very dirty. And no matter what I searched for, each aisles inventory was very low and most shelves were completely empty. I do not recommend this location.

LOTS of remodeling LOTS of moved items LOTS of confusion EVEN BY the employees.Got turned around twice up and down then gave up..tonight Almost happen again just by luck has i was JUST going down i spotted what i was looking for! And it wasnt downstairs!! So i was able to turn round walk up the escalator a few steps to the 2nd floor..every things a mess...missing aisles items moved up or s own in odd corners AND A WEEK LATER MIGHT BE ELSEWHERE!Very VERY frustrating and confusing to get around.

One of the worst Target stores I’ve been to. There is no main entrance. You drive around the parking lot looking for a Target sign. All the parking spots are angled so you circle for twice as long. When I did find an entrance I was met with old elevators that only take me to the main store. If you parked on the second floor, and want to access the second floor of the store you have to go to a separate escalator or elevator.The store is not well maintained. Many items are missing or shelves are empty. Bathrooms are dirty and full of graffiti.Please shut this location down ASAP!

This target is great, just remember not to access it from the mall side because you will not be able to take the cart outside. The staff is very efficient and used to dealing with long lines. Household and home improvement isles are not stocked well often. It is very busy though most of the time.

Dealt with eighteen year old cashier who acted like she didnt want to be there, and, after a problematic purchase, caused by her age, refused to bag my item and pushed it to the side as if it was beneath her to serve me. Called the store but felt like they didnt care.

I purchased a item here and the on line pickup price was cheaper than stores price on shelve. I showed the cashier with screenshot and she gave me a hard time. I told her other times no problem with other cashiers. I guess she didnt get it. Finally she did. Maybe she had a bad day.......🤯......

I think its faster to park upstairs, behind JC Penney. You can park right next to the door on the upstairs level.Its closer to the door than the downstairs parking area less parking traffic, and drops you right into the electronics department, with sporting goods to the right, toys and books straight ahead, kids clothes and baby items straight ahead to the other side of the store.

Filthy bathrooms and very unorganized during remodel. Surprising for a weekend. There were not even any dollar fun items due to the chaos. Low below standard for target, even other ones under remodel.

Beware this store jacks up the prices more than the Target online prices. Use the Target app to scan barcodes for price matching. Disable location services so the app doesnt know youre at the store or else the app will show you the store’s shelf sticker price.

Good service here the people that work at this target very respectful and helpful when I needed to figure out which aisle the laundry detergent was on I was in a big hurry running around in circles Ive experienced times and places like Walmart to where I didnt know customer service at all

Friday march 8th, 2019. Store shelves were half empty, they were restocking or remodelling, some aisles were completely empty. Could not find many things like nature valley granola bars, coffee creamers (only their Branded ones were in stock). Lines on cashiers were long. Very small store.

I havent shopped there since March but recently went there and was so impressed with the way you are managing social distancing
