Horrendous experience, borderline fraudulent - use any other Bayshore Supply location if possible.I made the trip from the East Bay to pick up two items for our electrician that he paid for at another location with the understanding that these two items were available and would be picked up in San Carlos. When I told the sales associate that they had been paid for, and showed him a photo of the receipt, he said he looked up the information and they werent paid for and charged me. I thought well maybe my guy was wrong, this associate should know better with the screen in front of him. When I confirmed again later that it was paid for and called back, I spoke to the same associate and requested a refund -- he said, yeah, yeah, I have the info right here and it will go back to your credit card...as if the screen was still up with my information after an hour had passed. Are you kidding me? My electrician had to call but I am concerned he got the same associate...while on the phone, my electrician asked if they had another item in stock and the sales associate said that they couldnt look up if items are in stock. What?! Now, I am stuck with extra time and effort to cancel the charge or see if I can get it refunded from the other location and deducted from my final electrical work bill. It has been a long time since I have experienced blatant lying and lack of professionalism in this manner.

I have been coming to Bayshore Supply for 17 years-and the staff are always knowledgeable, professional and friendly, both retail and service parts. Richard and Eleni are phenomenal- they REALLY know the details of the array of merchandise. The “new” (a couple of years already) store is very spacious, functional with some beautiful sample displays.

Because of Covid you now need appointment which I didnt know when I went. I called the phone number on the door and the employee I talked to came out front right away, saw my issue trying to replace an old light bulb which no longer exists and clearly explained my options. Excellent customer service by Michael D.

All I needed was a simple plug so I could hook up to temp power on a job site. The guy behind the counter looked confused and then disappeared into the warehouse, never to be seen again. After ten minutes of my life that Ill never get back I walked out and headed over to Royal on Bing St. They had what I needed on the counter within 60 seconds of me asking for it. Dont waste your time coming to Bayshore.

They have a variety of electrical equipment: lights and wiring, all sorts of material, but you need to know exactly what you want because they are not too customer friendly. If you know the ropes and who to talk to, I assume you are good to go, but if you look in with questions and are not sure it is going to be less than warm and receptive. As you make the sale, however, the office staff was congenial and good to talk to. I honestly had a better conversation with one of the customers about what I needed than almost anyone else.

This is a shop for contractors. Other customers are neglected or given poor service. They have moved and the new location is spacious but they are not completely set up. Salesman can care less about your project. Never a smile and never a can I help you. Youre on your own here. Ive been treated poorly twice and I wont ever return.

A supply store where employees are not to helpful...today I didnt get the help that I was supposed to get. I had to wait about 30 minutes to be helped and I didnt find what I was looking for...waist of time.

Not friendly AT ALL. No one would even approach me to asked me if I needed help. When I finally got someone to help me, the guy told me he doesnt know anything about the cable I needed. He said: I just sale things here, Im not an electrician and he just left me standing there. I dont believe they know the meaning of customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I rather pay more and go somewhere else for what I need.

I ordered 2 exterior lights. They told me 2 weeks. I paid $525 and called 3 days before I showed up to pick up the lights only to find out that the lights were not there.Unfortunately i had scheduled the electrician who I ended up paying for 2 hours and no lights were installed.Bad customer service.
