The Auto Zone in San Clemente has the best customer service & care than any in the areas of the area I live in South Orange County. Bruce & Melanie have gone above & beyond for myself & customers with their customer service & educating me on the parts Ive need to buy for multiple vehicles I have. They are incredibly helpful, as is there entire staff is too. They make it easy to come to a parts store without feeling like Im lost in there. I highly recommend this Auto Zone. Its definitely worth the drive!

On vacation from Arizona. Was driving from San Diego to Orange County and my wheel bearing went out! We get there and find out the problem was even worse! The wheel hub was falling apart and my brake caliper came lose!! Somehow I fell to the beat autozone experience I’ve ever had!! Bruce was very knowledgeable and friendly. In a time of stress, he helped me feel like this was minor and sure enough we were back on the road shortly. Thank you guys! We need this back in Arizona!

Came in into the store looking for a belt for my machine for work went to the competition first they just told me they don’t have it pretty much kick me out came to your store Jose helped me out they did not have it measured it and found it it for me amazing service he did more work but he was willing to do it not like the other guys I got the belt everything is good thanks to jose you guys got a customer for life

Amazing! Our battery had issues the night before we had to head back home from our week in San Clemente and we stopped by AutoZone to get it checked out. Jonathan jumped right on it, discovered the problem, was above and beyond helpful and great to chat with while he swapped our battery out. Top notch crew at SC AutoZone!

I am an Autozone guy. I do not go anywhere else. This has been BY FAR the best autozone I have ever been too. The service and kindness was sooo far “above and beyond”. I am genuinely grateful for their patience and support with me today.My alternator died a couple days ago. These guys helped me troubleshoot the issue. Allowed me to take hours in their parking lot to replace my alternator using their spare parts. They even drove to another location to retrieve a new alternator for me.I wish I got the names of the workers there. But if you are reading this and helped me today. Thank you.

Great service had a misfire had to make it to Bakersfield Bruce came out helped me find out what coil was miss firing helped me changed it will not take money this man needs a good raise

Came in the store my Ford F-150 had multiple miss fires Bruce came out to look at my truck found a cable that was loose fixed it tried to give him money but he didn’t want it this man needs a raise !!!

The guys here are super helpful and always willing to give advice. I did a custom madenair filter for 2 cars and we sat in their parking lot all day running in and out. They made sure that we hadnt completely obliterated the engine a few times as well!!

You cant go wrong here with a retired mechanic and his experienced help to not only purchase parts, but get help in diagnosing what parts ate needed.

This place is horrible charged me items I never bought then said theres nothing they can do without a receipt. Yet if I left the store with nothing how can their be a receipt, and why did you charge it to begin with.. I keep calling and I just get the run around.

Sia was extremely helpful. Checked my rotors on my Land Cruiser and showed me that I needed them replaced. I would have only bought pads, and drove 40 miles to my mechanic and had to turn around and come back. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Older hot rods confused them all... Just needed a high torque me mini starter for a 350ci Chev.... In a El Camino... Chevy never made an El Camino with a 350.... You are correct. Do you have the starter? No way to look it up.....

Very poor customer service! I called ahead of time to see if they would install a new car battery. I talked to Adrian. He told me to come by at 11:30 am. I went in there and asked if they could check my old car battery first. He said yes. I waited a half hour while he waited on 2 customers ahead of me. He took his sweet time. Then when it was my turn, he started to wait on some guy who came in 20 mins after me. I told him that I would just go to OReilly instead. They didnt care cause Adrian just didnt want to come outside in the hot sun! Adrian should be fired! Autozone is guilty of False Advertizing!!! They should not advertise anything that they cant deliver!

I was on vacation and my battery decided to die. After jumping it, I went to this AutoZone where Kevin installed a new battery for me. I tried to compensate him, but he wouldnt take it. Really nice people here. Im grateful.

Auto zone is a little pricey and they employees look to me as if they would rather be at home than helping anyone besides they dont know anything about parts.

Kevin and Jesus where really helpful. Its a Sunday almost closing hours and they let me borrow their tools. Jesus and Kevin waited for me until I completed my job. Traveling from San Diego to Los Angeles. It was hose problem. My pick up was overheating. Thanks to them going home.

Horrible, sent my wife in for a simple part after talking to someone on the phone and verifying that 1) they had it in stock and 2) they could get a mechanic to quickly install it. She shows up 20 minutes later and they refuse to sell it to her because the check engine light isnt on and claim it will be an hour before the next mechanic can arrive. They gave her the run around because she is a female and they were being lazy. I called immediately when I heard about it to try and find out the problem and was greeted by an employee who quickly switched me to what seemed like a manager and was told they were too busy and couldnt help her at this time at one point he even questioned my knowledge of the part talked down to me. My wife left and called me to say that the autozone was empty and the guy who seemed like the mechanic was just sitting in the counter bullshitting with another employee. Bad service rates a bad reviews these guys were less than helpful.

I don’t even know why this place is even open. Staff is apathetic and helplessly slow. They have the things you’d expect of a car parts store, but don’t expect great service.

I always headd here when I need something for my car. They loan out the tools that you need to do the job and helpful in getting what you need even if its not there they will check another location.

Came in early Sunday to get filters, pads, etc., for Audi A 3. Knew they would have to be delivered. Counter guy said order would be in after 1:30 and that he would call. No call. Wife went by at 2:30. Was asked what was in the order. She called me, I talked to the new counter guy, said, What?. Dont you know what you ordered for me this morning and put in your computer?Sorry,that guy isnt working now.Bottom line is that they couldnt regular maintenance parts for a common car in 24 hours (no more delivers today). Ive got to cancel my appt. for the work.

Had the basics you would expect, not a huge store but pretty stocked for San Clemente. Had everything I needed so Im happy

Had issues with my battery. Not only did the team help me quickly they walked me through how to do it as well. 10/10 customer service.

We had a issue with our car and they let us scan the car to see what was wrong and they had the part we needed. We were 85miles from home. Thank you auto zone. You saved us by having the part we needed.
