During the previous three months, BACC assessed the condition of four paintings, each 100 or more years old. BACC staff have extraordinary skills gained from years of academic training and experience with diverse media, materials and artists. The treatment proposed was clearly explained and the resulting product was amazing: quality work product; “on-time, on budget” delivery; included future care instructions; extraordinary professional behavior and communications. The value created by BACC conservator Morgan Wylder GREATLY exceeded expectations! With 38 paintings in my collection - all more than 60 yrs old - I will send more works to BACC. Best conservation in Southern California!!

I am extremely pleased with the conservation work BACC performed for me on a 17th century Dutch still life. The picture was obscured by a dirty high-gloss varnish that needed to be removed and required meticulous infill painting in a number of areas. The results surpassed my expectations. Best of all, visitors to my house always are stunned when they see it which gives me an opportunity to pontificate about the ancient history of still life painting and its revival by the Dutch in the 17th century. Lucky them?
